Day One Hundred and Two.

Verses: "'Hear my cry, O God; Listen to my prayer. From the end of the earth I call to You, when my heart is overwhelmed and weak; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I [a rock that is too high to reach without Your help]. For You have been a shelter and a refuge for me, A strong tower against the enemy. Let me dwell in Your tent forever; Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah.'"

Psalms 61:1-4

Maybe right now, you feel pretty overwhelmed, weak, and stressed. Maybe you are battling a mental illness, chronic illness, cancer, or maybe you lost a loved one. Maybe you are struggling with the holidays coming up. No matter what you are going through: God wants you to take refuge in Him. He will give you all the strength you need to face everyday with Him by your side.

I know lately I have been struggling as well. My physical pain has been really bad. I have been hurting constantly and have to wear my tens unit constantly. But I am going to see a new chiropractor on Monday so hopefully that will help. But I am still in pain and I need God's help.

I know I feel overwhelmed and weak like David did when he wrote that Psalm. But God comforted David and God will comfort you too. (Isaiah 49:13)

If you are struggling: go to God! God will grab your hand and help you with whatever you are struggling with. Just pray to God: "God, I need you! God, help me!" God will draw near to you. (Psalm 125:1-2)

God wants to be your shelter and refuge. (Psalm 61:1-4) But you have to go to God and reach out to Him. Also you need to seek God by reading His word, worshiping Him, talking to Him, and listening for Him. I promise you, you won't regret seeking God because time spent with God is never wasted. God will use that time to bless you with strength, grace, love, guidance, faith, hope, joy, rest, forgiveness, and everything you need to keep going and not give up.

You can and will get through with whatever you are going through because you have God on your side: and with God on your side, all things are possible! (Phillipians 4:13)

So keep going, keep believing in God, keep seeking God, and you will get through this!

Prayer:

Dear God,

I am really struggling God. I need you. I need your help Lord. So I pray that as I spend time seeking you, that you draw near to me and help me. Bless me with whatever I need to make it through everyday. Please grab my hand and walk through life with me, with you by my side. I know that I can do all things through you. So please help me build a close relationship with you as I spend time seeking you. I praise you for your goodness. I praise you because I believe in you and I know you will help me.

I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.
