Day Seventy-Six.

Verses: ' At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her." Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin." They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. '

John 8:2-11

This verses above show the story of a woman caught in adultery. The group of men that caught her wanted to stone her but Jesus showed up. Jesus told the men: "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her." The men dropped their stones. Jesus went up to the woman told her: "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."

Jesus didn't condemn or shame that women.

Just like how Jesus doesn't condemn or shame you.

Maybe you have made some mistakes, or maybe you feel shame. But Jesus is here to free you from shame.

God wants you to come home to you. No matter who you are or what you have done, God still loves you. (John 3:16)

When you go to God you need to apologize for what you have done. But once you give God a sincere apology, God will forgive you. God will give you no shame or condemnation. God will wrap His arms around you and love you.

God will comfort you, forgive you, love you, give you His rest, give you His peace, give you His joy, give you His hope, and God will give you everything you could ever need.

Now, you have to go and sin no more.

Now that you have been forgiven, you need to stop making that same mistake. You need to leave that life of sin before and start over with God by your side.

God won't leave you to figure it out by yourself. God will stay by your side the whole time and help you through this. God will grab your hand and show you what to do now. Now that you have forgiven, it's time to sin no more and follow Jesus.

I know it's scary but you can do this because you have God on your side. With God on your side, you can do anything!

Prayer:

Dear God,

I have made some mistakes. I am very sorry. I am asking you to forgive me. I am truly sorry Lord. I know that you will forgive me. Now I will go and sin no more. Help grab my hand and help me through this. Help me to go and sin no more. Help me to start over with you on my side. Please come into my heart and help me. I believe in you. I believe you will forgive me and help me.
