Day Seventy
Verse: "Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul." Psalm 143:8
Control and Trusting in God.
If you are anything like me, then you are a control freak. I make plans after plans, to do lists, and when things don't go the way I have planned: I freak out. I used to be a really bad control freak until I was diagnosed with chronic illness because with chronic illness there are some things you can't control. You can't control how bad your pain will be that day, you can't control how the weather will affect your pain, and you can't stop the pain. But most importantly, I have learned to trust God. But before getting diagnosed with chronic illness it lead to me to a point where I couldn't do life on my own anymore. I needed God. I put my faith and trust in God. Putting my faith and trust in God changed my life forever.
I don't know what struggles you are going through or what been through but I do know that being a control freak never works out. Our plans for our lives, don't work out.
Why?
Because God's plan for your life is SO much better than your plan.
Because God says:
'For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. '
Jeremiah 29:11
We just need to put our faith and trust in God.
Why?
Because God promised us:
God will love you forever. (Psalm 136:1)
God will never leave you. (Hebrews 13:5)

God will comfort you. (Isaiah 49:13)
God will help you and always be there for you. (Psalm 121:1-2)
God is always faithful. (Psalm 33:4)
God keeps His promises. (Deuteronomy 7:9)
In this world, everything changes: the weather, people, plans, but God never changes. God is always good (Psalm 31:19). God is always in control and He has the best plans for our us. But we have to trust in Him and His plans.
Trusting God and giving God control to your life is like faith. Even though you can't see God, you still know He's there. But by seeking God you feel His presence, talk to Him, and hear him to talk to you.
But it takes a leap of faith to put trust in God and give God control of your life.
But I believe it will be the best leap you could ever make because once you jump, God will be waiting right there to catch you, love you, encourage you, comfort you, guide you, give you peace, give you grace, and give you everything you could ever need.
So take that leap! Jump into Jesus's arms today!
Prayer:
Dear God,
I am taking that leap, I am jumping into your arms. I am giving you control of my life. I am putting my faith, hope, and trust in you. I know you are good. I know you have amazing plans for my life. I believe in you and all your promises. I believe you keep your promises. I believe you are good and faithful. So please wrap your arms around me and give me anything I need. Help me to build a close relationship with you by me seeking you. Please grab my hand and help me walk through life with you by my side.

I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.
In Jesus's name, I pray, Amen!

The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it. The Legion of Nothing first debuted on my website legionofnothing.com in 2007. In that period it's updated more than 900 times, is still running, and has had millions of pageviews. The first two years have been released as an ebook, receiving good reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I hope you'll enjoy it, and that you'll review it and comment. You can also vote for it on Top Web Fiction and rate it on Web Fiction Guide. Member of The Order of Phantasmal Architects.

Requiem of the Sea
Maya is going to kill gods and rule the seas with an iron fist. She doesn't know that yet. Outcasted her entire life, she has had to fight for every scrap of food she's eaten. Her only escape is to get enough Essence, a powerful resource that awakens the innate magic within humans, to make something of herself. And just when she managed to defeat an entire dungeon on her own, her tormenters arrive to steal it from her. Cast into an abyss, Maya meets a man who the world has long thought to be dead. He's willing to train her, and Maya has grand plans of becoming a pirate captain. Maya is going to gather a crew, grow in strength, and carve her legacy into the world with blood. Requiem of the Sea is a vast seafaring story. The world is very large, and I enjoy trickling information in about it slowly as opposed to dumping it all at once. The story is updated once every two days. Thanks for reading!

Unbeknownst to even the greatest of humanity's saints, the dragons did not lose to humanity just because of humanity. They had their own hand in their own defeat.
