Day Sixty-Seven
Verse: "Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing." James 1:2-4
Maybe right now, you are going through some storms. Maybe you are struggling with horrible circumstances, mental illness, chronic illness, or maybe you lost a loved one. Whatever you are going through: you can and will get through this with God by your side.
Lately, my physical pain has gotten really bad again. My pain medicines are helping but I am still in horrible pain. It's so frustrating and I just don't know what to do. I have tried everything. But I promise you: I will never give up. I will keep going. Even though I am struggling, I will never give up.
Whatever you are going through: keep going. NEVER GIVE UP! One thing I have learned from 21 years on this Earth is life is tough. Life isn't fair. Bad things will happen. But you can, never, EVER, give up!
God is good even when life isn't. God is with you even in your darkest moments. God loves you so much. You can endure. Will it be easy? No. But will it be worth it? Yes. Because with God, life is SO worth it.
With God by your side, God will give you everything you need to endure. God will give you His strength, guidance, love, comfort, encouragement, wisdom, joy, peace, rest, and so much more.
With God by your side, you CAN and WILL overcome!
So grab God's hand, and let's do this!
Prayer:
Dear God,
I am really struggling. I need your help Lord. Please grab my hand and help me through this. I can't do life without you. Please give me your strength, peace, comfort, rest, love, endurance, encouragement, and everything I need to fight this battle and win. Help me keep going and never give up. I believe that you hear me Lord. I believe that you will answer my prayer. I believe you are good even when life isn't. I believe with you by my side, I can do anything! I thank you for listening to me. I praise you because I know you will help.
