Day Sixty-One
Verses: ""Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.""
Matthew 11:28-30 NIV
Are you tired? Burnout? Exhausted? Need rest? Come into the arms of Jesus and He will give you rest for your souls.
Sometimes when we are exhausted and struggling are souls can get tired.
Jesus is our rest for our weary souls.
Sometimes in the world, we deal with burdens: finances, health, jobs, school, family, etc. We can't carry their burdens on our own.
Come to Jesus, we will be help us with our burdens. Jesus's burdens is light.
Lately I have been traveling to see my grandad and it been really rough on my back. I have been struggling with physical pain. I will exhausted. I know this is a burden I can't carry on my own. I can't do this on my own without Jesus. I am running into Jesus's arms.
I don't know what you are struggling with: but I do know we were not made to do life on our own. God loves us. (John 3:16) God wants to help us. (Psalm 121:1-2)
If you have burdens, come to Jesus. He will make those burdens light.
If you are exhausted, God will give you strength.
If you are weary, God will give you rest.
If you are sad, God will give you hope.
If you need hope, God will grab your hand and help you through.
So come to Jesus! He can't wait to see you!
Prayer:
Dear God,
I am weary, I pray you give me rest. I am sad, I pray you give me hope. I am exhausted, I pray you give me strength. I am dealing with burdens, I pray you make them light. God I know with you by my side, I can do all things. So I pray you come by my side and grab my hand. Help me through life with you by my side. I need you Lord. So please come into my heart and help me. I love you Lord. I want to be close to you so please help me build a close relationship with me.
