《Walking With Jesus A Daily Devotional》Day Fifty-Eight

Day Fifty-Eight.
Verses: "'Take delight in the Lord , and he will give you the desires of your heart. Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Commit your way to the Lord ; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.'"
Psalm 37:3-9
I was reading the Bible the other day and came across this Psalm. I love it! It's beautiful and it talks a lot about trusting in God.
I know I personally have trust issues and it has taken me a long time to put my faith, hope, and trust in God. But I finally have trusted in God, it was an amazing decision.
How do you trust in God?
You trust God to be God. You don't lean on my own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5) Know that you won't understand every circumstance and problems that you have. Make peace with that. Always know that God is good (Psalm 31:19). Always know that God loves you more than I can ever imagine. God loves you so much, He sent His one and only Son to die on the cross FOR YOU! Even if you were the only person on the Earth, God would still have sent Jesus to the cross to die FOR YOU because He loves more than you can ever imagine. (John 3:16)

Also trust in God's promises, which are:
God will love you forever. (Psalm 136:1)
God will never leave you. (Hebrews 13:5)
God will comfort you. (Isaiah 49:13)
God will help you and always be there for you. (Psalm 121:1-2)
God is always faithful. (Psalm 33:4)
God keeps His promises. (Deuteronomy 7:9)
Sometimes it takes a while to put your faith, hope, and trust in God and that's okay! Take your time but building a close relationship with God. You build a close relationship with God by: reading the Bible, praying, and listening for God.
I promise you, if you put your faith, hope, and trust in God, you won't regret it!
Can I get an AMEN?
AMEN!
Prayer:
Dear God,
I am putting my faith, hope, and trust in you. Because I know you are good all the time, I believe in your promises, and I know you love me. I trust and believe in you. I pray I build a close relationship with you so I can trust you even more. As I spend time reading your word, praying, and listening for you, I pray it brings us closer together. I love you Lord and just want to be close to it. I surrender everything to you Lord and I know you will do amazing things.
I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.
In Jesus's name, I pray, Amen!
