《Walking With Jesus A Daily Devotional》Day Forty-Two

Day Forty-Two.
Verses: '"Do you now believe?" Jesus replied. "A time is coming and in fact has come when you will be scattered, each to your own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me. "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."'
John 16:31-33
As you all know if you have been reading my devotions for a while, I have been in unbearable physical pain for about two years now. I am no closer to an answer for why I am hurting then when I started searching for an answer to years ago. I saw an OBGYN yesterday and she believes my pain is connected to an OBGYN problem. So I may not have fibromyalgia and arthritis or maybe I do, we just don't know. The OBGYN I saw yesterday had no clue what I might have so I am going to see a specialist but it could six months before I get an appointment. So honestly, I feel pretty lost, confused, frustrated, but I do know now more than ever, I need God's help.
Maybe right now, you are struggling as well. Maybe you are battling a mental illness, chronic illness, cancer, or you lost a loved one. No matter what you are going through: God is here to help you.
One thing I have to remind myself is that God never promised us a life without pain. God never promised us an easy and safe life. God never promised that everything would make sense.
Here is what God did promise:
God will love you forever. (Psalm 136:1) God will never leave you. (Hebrews 13:5) God will comfort you. (Isaiah 49:13) God will help you and always be there for you. (Psalm 121:1-2)

God is always faithful. (Psalm 33:4) God keeps His promises. (Deuteronomy 7:9)
If you are struggling, the best thing you could do: is run into God's arms. God may not heal you, cure you, or solve all your problems. But He will grab your hand and help you through it. You can trust God. God is completely faithful and He keeps His promises. You can always put your hope and trust in God.
God will never let you down. He is always here for you and He will always help you. He will rejoice in you coming home to Him. He doesn't care how long it's been since you have talked to Him. He just wants you to come running into His arms. He will wrap His loving, comforting, encouraging, helping, forgiving, and amazing arms around you.
God knows that in this world, we will have trouble. But with God on our side, we can and will face any battle and win because we have God on our side. With God on our side, we can do anything!
Prayer:
Dear God,
I am running home to you God. I can't do life without you. Lord I need you. So please come wrap your amazing arms around me and help me. Please give me everything I need to fight this battle and win. I know Lord that with you by my side, I can do anything. I know in this world, I will have trouble but Lord, I don't want to do life without you. So please come grab my hand and walk through life with me with you by my side. I know you are good. I put all my faith, hope, and trust in you. I know that you hear me and you will help me.
I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.
In Jesus's name, I pray, Amen!

School-life & Swordfights: A Clubs and Stubs Tale
Warning: Clubs and Stubs contains strong language and situations throughout that may not be suitable for younger readers. "This story takes place in a fantasy world with a modernish setting. It mainly follows four students of Hardires High School who are members of one of the greatest Team Arena Squads in the history of gladiatorial school athletics. Already two-time high-school world champions, they have entered their fourth and final year of high school in hopes of capturing a third straight world championship—something that no other school on the continent has accomplished. As they prepare for an upcoming match with a rival school, it becomes evident that keeping their two-and-a-half-year winning streak alive will be tougher than expected. As both personal and external problems abound for the student-gladiators, can they manage to keep it together under the constant pressure of being the perfect fighting unit? A blend of action, drama, adventure, and humor collide in this brand-new series!" Thanks so much for checking out my story! This is the first time that I've released any of my work to a public space so any feedback, be it positive or negative (but please be respectful if so) would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping that this story is only the beginning of a long-running series of short stories set in the Clubs and Stubs universe. Temporary Book Cover Design by David Watson The release schedule is rather tentative, but the goal is to release a chapter every 2-4 days. I want to make sure that every scene is the best it can be before it’s released, so it may take a bit longer especially if it's a longer chapter. However, no chapter should take more than a week to be released. Each scene varies in length, but are usually between 1,000 to 2,000 words.
8 105GemZ: Chronicles of Le'Tayah
In the world of Le'Tayah Gemz are power. They power everything, from lights to vehicles to weapons. When a Gem gets stolen from a nearby Tower, a transport ship crashes from the sky, and Gosha (our... hero) is suddenly catapulted from his quiet farming life into a world full of adventure. Can he survive when faced by bandits, a ban on magic, and a government organisation out to get him? To hold the power of the sun in the palm of your hand, that is what it means to wield the GemZ. Along the way he will face differing adversaries, find new companions, and battle hardships that he must overcome. The fate of the world rests in the hands of those who can weild the power. Disclaimer: It is suggested to read through at least the first 6 parts before you decide whether or not to continue reading.
8 337Reasons to Stay
Immortality has a cost, it differs from person to person. Some regret seeing their loved ones die, some regret they themselves cannot die, some regret the boredom and some regret nothing. This man regrets not having a choice, so after millions of years of getting shot, beheaded, beaten, stabbed and stoned he escaped from the world by hiding in a bunker with his books. He had studied all forms of science, he had lived history and created art, he was content with being alone with his mind until one day a man with a monocle appears, and he learns the truth. Hi! This is my second novel and I just had this idea when I was trying to sleep and my mind was making me re-live all those goddamn nightmares you don't want when it's 1 am and dark as shit, so I thought of happy things like the fantasy genre and my inevitable death and i'm like why not?
8 92The Twelfth - End
Mana, Chi, Divine, and Demonic, those four powers, which come from their respective entity, are the basis of all creation. For something to exist in this world, this thing must have either of them if not all four of them. The entities they come from could be considered as Gods. But unlike popular believe, they aren't "intelligent" beings. They act based on something unknown to us. This very thing which gave birth to their children. If the "Gods" couldn't be considered "intelligent", the same thing couldn't be said for their children. All of them could think and act on their own. And that's what they did. They quickly realized that among all the other creations, they were unique. Their abilities were nothing like the others. Even among them, siblings, some were clearly above the other ones. Thus, some of the weaker ones, feeling upset about their inability to oppose their siblings, decided to flee. Somewhere very far. And they managed to find something they had never seen before. Something which would change the fate of all of them.
8 173A Curious Bird
One person awaking in body that is not his own. In order to survive he has to get stronger. For this bird will survive and evolve. He will also find out where he is and why he is here. But along the way his thirst for knowledge begin to grow.
8 146The Swimming Pool from Another Freaking Dimension
When the world’s on fire and your garden sprinkler is not going to cut it, there’s only one thing to do: just dig. But the town’s hillbillies are laughing behind your back and your so-called mates are laying bets on you burying yourself alive and venomous spiders are breeding in your 3D printer and those fires are inching closer every freaking day. Just dig, baby. Stranded in a mountaintop suburb monitored by military drones and plagued by wildlife and weather gone crazy, Dezzy and his teenaged neighbour, Sonia, are just trying to save their homes from the next megafires – by digging the biggest, deepest, most badass swimming pool possible. A chlorinated moat at the edge of their derelict suburb that might also provide a refreshing dip in between raging infernos. Only they dig up more than they bargained for, a hell of a lot more. Never mind the secret military base, the burn-scarred locals and their Truth Church, or those birds attacking people out of the blue, because Dezzy and Sonia have bigger things to worry about, things perhaps not of this freaking near-future reality.
