Day Forty.

Verses: "'The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as warriors rejoice when dividing the plunder.'"

Isaiah 9:2-3

The other night I could hardly walk. My leg was hurting so bad I could barely move it. Today I am walking but not very well. Everyday it feels like my physical pain just keeps getting worse and worse. I don't see another specialist (doctor) till August. I am sad, depressed, and hurting so bad. I don't know if I will never be out of pain. Right now, I am surrounded by pain. Now more than ever, I need to look at the light of Jesus.

Maybe right now, you are feeling depressed as well. Maybe you are battling an illness or facing some impossible circumstances. We all need to look above ourselves and look at the light and glory of Jesus.

In our day and age, you can turn on the news and watch stories of death, sickness, depression, and darkness. Our world is full of death and darkness. But in Jesus, we have light!

When we look at Jesus we can see: hope, grace, forgiveness, joy, love, peace, rest, guidance, comfort, encouragement, and light! Jesus is light to every darkness.

No matter what you are facing: Jesus can give you light.

Jesus can you give you hope when you are depressed. Jesus can forgive you when you have made mistakes. Jesus can love you when you can't love yourself. Jesus can grab your hand and help you through anything. Jesus can give you comfort, guidance, and encouragement when you need it.

In Jesus: you can find anything you could ever need.

I know right now, if I just focus on myself, I will feel very depressed. But if I look to Jesus, I can have hope and joy. In Jesus, I CAN and WILL keep going and get through this. In Jesus, I can have the strength to keep going even when I am in pain.

Jesus is the answer you have been searching for.

Jesus is who we all need to put our faith, hope, and trust into.

Jesus is light,

Prayer:

Dear God,

I am really struggling right now and I need your help. Lord, please give me your light. I know that you are light in the darkness. I know that you are so good. So please give me your hope, joy, love, rest, peace, guidance, comfort, encouragement, and all your light Lord. Just shine your light on me Lord and I will use that light to bring glory to Your kingdom.

I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.
