Day Thirty-Seven.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Psalm 34:18
Through the past seven years, I have been through a lot. I have truly struggled. But now I am finally getting better!
Here are some tips and tricks that has helped me when I am struggling.
1. Pray more than once a day!
Staying faithful in prayer has helped me so much. I usually just say pray once a day but praying more than once a day has helped here. Maybe you feel like you don't have time to pray more than once a day. You can pray while: doing laundry, driving, brushing your teeth, and cleaning. Lots of people think you have to sit down on your knees and pray. You don't have to do that. You can pray, anywhere, and at anytime.
2. Focusing on something other than your pain.
Writing this book, and Jesus Saves Daily Devotions has helped me so much. Because I wasn't thinking about how unhappy I was, I was thinking about writing. So find something you love to do to take your mind off your struggling.
3. Go to church but if you are physically unable to, watch sermons online.
Hearing someone preach the word of God is so good to hear. Lots of my pastors sermons have helped me so much. Even when I was physically unable to go to church, I watch sermons online. It's good to surround yourself with the word of God.
4. Talk to good and godly people.
I always talk to my Mom. She has helped me so much. It's good to find people you trust to talk to when you are struggling. (If you don't have anyone message me and I will be your new best friend).

5. Putting your hope, faith, and trust in God.
You don't have to go through this alone. God is here to help you through this! God is so good and He is so trustworthy. Putting your faith, hope, and trust in God will help you so much. God can and will be your best friend and you can have a strong relationship with Him even when you are struggling.
6. Reading your Bible.
Okay, I am horrible at this. These past few weeks I have been reading my Bible and it has helped me so much! Reading God's word can truly help you.
Prayer:
Dear God,
I am putting my faith, hope, and trust in you. I know you are close to broken-hearted and I am struggling. Please wrap your arms around me and help me. Help me as I pray, focus on good things, go to church, surround myself with good and godly people, and read your word that I make it through this. That no matter what I am struggling with that I overcome it! Because with you by my side God, I can do anything!
I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.
In Jesus's name, I pray, Amen!

Showing that being made of ice-cream isn't a weakness, but a strength when nurtered properly. Also it doesn't end in a protagonist who becomes/kills god, because that just doesn't fit the theme.
