Day Twenty-Three.

Verses: "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

Right now, I am not okay. I have been struggling with my physical health for over a year now because of having fibromyalgia and now arthritis. Yesterday I got the news that I have a stye on my eye, the stye is so bad I have to have surgery on my eye. Tomorrow my Mom has brain surgery. To say the least, I am a mess. I am overwhelmed, in pain, exhausted, losing my hope in God, and I am not okay. But I do know that it's okay not to be okay. I do know that God is right here, beside me.

Maybe right now, you are struggling as well. Maybe right now, you are not okay and it's okay to not be okay. Maybe you are struggling with horrible circumstances and just don't know what to do. I do know that when we are struggling, God is right here, beside us.

Even when you are at your lowest, God is right beside you. He just wants to grab your hand and help you through this. Even when you want to give up on God, He will NEVER give up on you.

Last night, I was so down and depressed that I wanted to give up on God. But I knew I could never give up on God, because I love Him to much. Even though I am struggling, I am not okay, and I am mad at God. I could never give up on Him because He has never given up on me.

If you are struggling, God will give you His hope. He may not save you from your circumstances but He will give you the strength to face them. God may never heal me from my mental illnesses and chronic illnesses. But I do believe that everyday He will give me the strength and hope to face them.

You don't need to try to do life on your alone. God will love you forever. (Psalm 136:1) God will never leave you. (Hebrews 13:5) God will comfort you. (Isaiah 49:13) God will help you and always be there for you. (Psalm 121:1-2) God may not cure you from your illness or save you from your circumstances, but God will give you the strength, hope, joy, and peace to face your circumstances and keep going. (Romans 15:13)

Prayer:

Dear God,

I am a really struggling and I need your help. I can't do life without you Lord. I need your strength, hope, peace, joy, and rest to help me face my circumstances with you by my side. I know I can't do life without you Lord so please come be close to me and grab my hand. Help me walk through life with you by my side. I need you now more than ever Lord so please come help you. I know you love me forever and I know you will always be there to help me. You may not save me from my struggles but I pray you give me the strength and hope to face them.

I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.
