Day Two.

Verse:

"Be strong. Take courage. Don't be intimidated. Don't give them a second thought because God , your God, is striding ahead of you. He's right there with you. He won't let you down; he won't leave you." Deuteronomy 31:6 MSG

For the longest time, I thought God had left me.

When I was really struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts, I hated God. I wanted nothing to do with Him. I was so angry at Him for letting me have mental illnesses. Last year when I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I was mad at God again. This week I got diagnosed with arthritis, but I am not mad at God.

I am not mad at God now because now I have a good relationship with Him. Now I know that God never did leave me all those years ago. Instead, He was carrying me. Even though I was kicking, screaming, cursing Him, and mad at Him, he was still carrying me.

Maybe right now, you feel like God has left you. But instead of leaving you, He is carrying you.

I don't know what you are struggling with and what battles you are fighting, but I do know that God never left me like He was never left you. He is right beside you. He wants to be close to you. But first, you have to stop kicking, screaming, and cursing at Him. Instead, grab His hand. He is right here, waiting for you.

He's not angry at you and He doesn't judge you. He loves you more than you can ever imagine. He just wants a close relationship with you. Just grab His hand, He will show you the way. He will guide you, love you, comfort you, help you, encourage you, and give you everything you could ever want and need.

All you have to do, is run to Him. So what are you waiting for? Run into God's arms today!

Prayer:

Dear God,

I am running into your arms God. I am tired of fighting you and I just want to be close to you. So please wrap your arms around and help me. Help me become closer to you than ever before. I want a good relationship with you Lord. I am running to you. I can't do life on my own. Fill me with all your goodness and your love.

I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.

In Jesus's name, I pray, Amen!
