"So what are you going to say when we see him?"

"I don't know- wait we?"

I respond as we continue to pack.

"I'm not letting you face him without safety. I will not have a repeat of last time."

"He won't want to see you for obvious reasons-"

"For obvious reasons he does not have a choice."

I take a deep breath and tell myself the reason he is this domineering and protective is because it's his way of showing that he loves me.

I walk over to him and hug his neck.

I feel him tense and I know it's because that's not the reaction he was expecting from me.

"You know I'm not used to having someone to be this concerned about my wellbeing. I'm usually the one that worries Bout me loved ones."

He wraps his arms around my waist.

"I love you Laila."

I look into his sincere eyes and cup his face.

"Thank you for everything and allowing me to see my family despite of everything that has happened."

I kiss his forehead.

"I just want to make you happy and safe without being the bad guy."

I blush when he stares at me like that... so intense.

"You know I would do anything for you... no matter how hard headed I am and how much I fight. If it truly makes you happy I'll do it. I love seeing you smile."

I bring my lips to his.

"I really do love you Kye."

He inhales at my words and his eyes turn glossy.

I straddle his lap as he sits down on the chair.

"You're so selfless when it comes to me and our children. You provide for us uncomfortably well. You love us. We're not used to that. I try with the kids, but I'm broken and no amount of affection hides that."

He rubs my thighs idly.

"You're a wholesome woman. I love you so much. You bring the best out of me. You and the kids. I'm unbearable most times, but it's because I want to protect you. No woman has ever made me feel the way you make me feel."

I kiss his neck and I get wet when he groans.

Before I can respond he unbuckles my pants.

He is clearly on a mission so I help him take it off.

He puts my panties to the side and inserts in me.

"Fuck"

I groan and he lays down with me rolling me on my back.

"What do you hope to accomplish at the end of our visit?"

He asks but my teeth are holding my lips so I can control myself.

He sucks my nippłe preventing me from being able to think clearly.

"I want everyone to respect eachother. I want to be your wife without worrying if they will hate me. They're my only family."

He stops and stares at me in thought. He then moves his face to mine and stares at me.

"If I get us all to get along you'll marry me?"

He asks with caution, excitement, and hope.

I hesitate but ultimately nod.

"What's the sudden change?"

"I'm stabilized in almost all aspects of my life. My kids have a future and I realized I don't want to see you with anyone else because I'll love you the best, and you're mine. Only problem is if my fam agrees."

Kyle tries to turn his face so I can't see his big ass smile.

"You're so cute Kyle"

"I'm sexy."

He responds and then starts moving again.

"What if Henry does not forgive me?"

Kye asks.

"Well at least you genuinely tried."

I convinced Kye to let me see Henry with a bodyguard instead of him. I think that would be best knowing everyone's temper.

It was hard for Kyle to do.

I ring Aunty Rachel's door and immediately the door open with Haley behind it.

She squeals and wraps her arms around my neck.

I wrap my arms around her hugging her back.

She grabs my hand and walks me to the bathroom.

"We have to have clean hands before seeing the baby. She's so precious!"

I wash my hands and walk to the living room.

Aunty Rachel is there holding the beautiful newborn.

She smiles when she sees me, and I get nervous when I see Henry sitting in on the couch opposite her.

I take a deep breath and decide to sit next to him.

"Henry."

I greet him and I see there are tears in his eyes.

"I'm so sorry Lai."

His body immediately starts shaking as he cries.

"Now is not the time."

I respond.

I get up and walk to the beautiful baby.

"Can I?"

I ask Aunty to hold her, and aunty stretches her to me.

She looks just like Henry.

"She's beautiful."

She has that newborn smell. I can't help but smile as she smiles at me.

"Aww she like you."

Haley says.

"What's her name?"

I look at Henry and he looks nervous.

"Lalai"

My eyebrows knit together.

"After me?"

He nods.

"You are the reason for her here."

"Her mom is okay with that?"

I ask and Henry shakes his head.

"She does not care about our daughter. She gave me full custody."

I shake my head. It's sad that an innocent baby is already born into abandonment.

"I'm sorry to hear that."

I respond.

Lalai starts fussing.

"She's hungry."

Henry states and passes me a bottle to feed her.

"Let me feed her. You two have to workout somethings."

Haley states taking the baby and bottle from me.

I start.

"I loved you as the brother and you are to me. I usually go to you to protection, but you instead were the one I needed protection from."

A tear falls from my eye.

"You were on a mission to physically and mentally hurt me. Why would you do that to someone you love?"

Henry doesn't respond at first. He only cries.

The room is quiet except for his sobs.

"I can't ever forget that. What if I was pregnant? How would you live with yourself knowing you killed your sister's child? "

"I am an alcoholic. I have been attending AA meetings since then, and I know that is no justification, but I want you to know my judgment has been clouded. I'm sorry and will never forget nor forgive myself for what I have done. I have learned from it though. I promise you that. Please forgive me."

"I'll forgive you, but you have to sit down and talk with Kyle."
