《Mystic: Gojo x Reader》33: besto frendo

I walked into the shop with Nanami trailing closely behind. A small scent of cedarwood and leather drifted to us as we entered.
The ceiling was detailed in gold trim and chandeliers. The floors were made of a rich, reflective marble that echoed whenever we took our steps.
Glass cases were spread out across the room, all containing rings, watches, and other fine jewelry. The lighting dim as to not cause too much of a reflection.
It was even grander than I originally thought.
As the associates stared at me and Nanami, I realized how absolutely undressed I was. I was literally in sweats and sneakers... Luckily, Nanami was in his typical full suit.
I approached a woman behind one of the counters with a small smile, afraid to let my voice rise even above a whisper, "Hello."
"Can we help you?" she asked in a rather annoyed tone as her eyes trailed down me.
"Yea, what are we doing here?" Nanami followed up.
"Oh, um, I'm actually picking up something," I looked in between the two judgmental blondes.
"Name?" she added as she looked at her computer.
I glanced nervously at Nanami, "Gojo."
Her eyes widened as she pulled up my name, "Oh, Mrs. Gojo! I'm so sorry! We didn't realize you'd be coming by today!" She quickly bowed making me and Nanami rather shocked.
I waved my arms in front of me, "Eh?! Oh no, it's fine! Please, please stand!!"
I looked at everything online and ordered over the phone so I didn't expect them to know who I was, and I didn't understand why she was making such a big deal out of it.
"Thank you, ma'am," she said as she stood. "Let me go get my manager. She'll want to speak with you."
I watched her walk to a back room, and Nanami quickly turned to me, "What was that about?"
I shrugged, "I dunno... I'm just here to pick up something I bought for Satoru."
"Mm," he nodded. "I get it."
"Get what?" I tilted my head at him.
Just then, the young woman returned, "Here, please have a drink on us."
"Well, I wouldn't say no to that," I smirked as I grabbed one of the champagne glasses. Even Nanami looked pleased as he took the other glass.

"What exactly did you buy?" he laughed as she left.
I immediately smiled, "It's a surprise for Satoru!"
"Must be a pretty expensive surprise with the way they're treating you."
"Mrs. Gojo," we both looked at another woman who approached. "Please follow me."
We did as she said and ended up in a small but comfortable office. Nanami and I sat in two plush armchairs as the woman took a seat behind the desk.
She passed over a little velvet box, "Would you like to take a look?"
"Oh, yes! Thank you!" I grabbed it and quickly opened it up. My eyes widened as I looked at the ring inside.
It was perfect.
Nanami leaned over, "You got him a wedding ring?"
"Isn't it amazing!?" I squealed.
"Is that normal? Does the woman typically get the man a ring like this?"
"Hmph," I scoffed and furrowed my brows as I looked at him. "Why does that matter!?"
"Just seems unusual."
I sighed as I looked at the ring again. It was a black band where the edges were lined with tiny black diamonds.
"Yea, I guess it is..." I smiled as I saw the tiny date engraved on the inside of the ring. "But he's going to love it."
"That's the day you met, right?" he smiled as he leaned over to look.
I just nodded my head as I carefully put the ring back in the box.
"You're right," Nanami added. "He is going to love it. It's quite thoughtful of you."
I sighed happily as I looked back at the woman helping us, "Thank you so much. This is amazing."
"Of course, we're glad you came to us to make such an exquisite piece," she smiled at me. "We already received your deposit, so how would you like to make the next payment?"
I grabbed my card out of my bag, "Can I just pay the rest of it?"
Her eyes widened, "O-oh, uh, of course! Right away!"
She grabbed it and disappeared out of the room. There were definitely perks to being a sorcerer... I couldn't deny that.

"Now what?" Nanami asked as we left the small shop.
"I have one more errand to run. Want to come with?"
"Is it for the wedding?"
I nodded, "Yea, another surprise for Satoru."
He chuckled as he walked with me, "You're going to give that man a heart attack."
"Eh!? Why do you say that?"
"He's already head over heels for you. I don't think he can handle all these gifts. He might literally explode."
"I just want him to feel loved," I smiled at him. "He deserves a little spoiling too."
We stopped in front of a large, decorative building in downtown Tokyo. The walls were practically all glass, adding to the building's modern, sleek look.
Although it was downtown, it was placed on a large lot so the building was surrounded by beautiful plants and trees, giving it such a serene feel.
"What's this?" Nanami asked as we stared at the unmarked building.
"Satoru's preferred venue," I sighed softly. "I'm here to make a deposit."
"Really? I thought he'd pick a grand hotel or something," he smirked.
"Satoru's gaudy, but he's definitely not basic," I laughed. "He wants somewhere no one else has ever been."
"And do you like it?" he eyed me carefully.
"I mean, it's beautiful. I can't deny that."
"You two or so similar and yet so different."
I couldn't help but smile, "Trust me, I know."
"So when's the date?"
"December 16th," I mumbled. I glanced over at him as he started to laugh. Like an actual laugh. It was almost disorienting.
"Wow, you gave in a lot faster than I thought you would."
"Mm," I rolled my eyes.
"Let's just go inside," he smiled as he walked towards the door.
I was so nervous to ask him, but it was now or never. If I didn't talk to him today, I knew I'd never get the courage. And Nanami was important to me, I wanted him to be a part of our wedding day.
"N-nanami," I called out as my voice cracked. "W-wait."
"What is it?"
"Well..." I trailed off as I stared at my shoes, mindlessly fiddling with my hands. "I-I have to ask you something."
"Ok. Then ask."
Nanami and I were both so awkward with our emotions, so I already knew this conversation would be so uncomfortable.
I hadn't even told Satoru I was asking him, but I had known long before now just how important this was to me. Nanami was my family too. He had been since the day we all met.
"Will you come to the wedding?" I blurted out.
That was not what I wanted to ask, but I guess it would be a good starting point.
He gave me a funny look, "Obviously. Why would I miss it?"
I nodded, "Ok, well then. You're like family you know? And we've been so close since we met. And other than Satoru, you know me best."
He awkwardly looked away, "Ok."
"Just our wedding day wouldn't be the same without you."
"And I already said I'd be there."
I internally face palmed... why was this so damn difficult!?
"Nanami!" I called out a little louder than I meant to, but I was just trying to muster up some damn courage. "I want you to walk me down the aisle."
He finally looked up at me with wide eyes, his mouth drooping open just slightly.
"Ah, I mean, i-if you want to," I quickly added as I adverted my eyes and rubbed the back of my neck.
"Like your father?"
I couldn't help but chuckle a bit, "You're younger than Satoru, Nanami! More like an older brother or something... I don't know. It's ok if you don't want to or if it's weird. I can always walk alone. People do it all the time."
"I just don't have any blood relatives obviously, and I wouldn't want anyone else to be a part of the wedding like that. You're Satoru's best friend too. I don't know. Maybe not—"
I froze as he quickly cut me off and brought me into a hug, catching me completely off guard. After the initial shock, I smiled to myself and hugged him back, fighting back the urge to cry all over his shoulder.
"I'd be honored, Y/n. You're my family too."

Woman Vs A.I Future
Like most love stories this one takes place in the not so distant future.
8 181Moonblood
Five moons rise over Evanir, each in her own cycle, and each moon is also a god, one of five sisters. Many gods create spirit attendants and companions, brought forth fully-formed. Long ago, the moons worked together to create a lineage that are, instead, humans transformed by the mingling of blood. They intended them to be long-lived and to draw their strength directly from the light of the moon who chose each individual. The five sisters had different goals in mind – one wanted it to be a blessing for scholars and artists, to give them more time and fewer physical distractions; another wanted them to have an animal form, different for each, to keep them more in tune with nature so they could serve as guardians of the wilderness. There are drawbacks to their children having human lives and personalities before being chosen: not all share the goals of their divine mothers, and some choose to put their gifts to darker uses. Those carrying the blood of one woman, fleeing the corruption in search of a quiet life, take a different path. -=-=-=-=- Moonblood isn't so much a novel as a series of adventures of varying length. They involve a core group of people, which does grow over time. They take place in a fairly low-magic world, but despite that, our core cast are directly connected to the moons and have various abilities, including limited shapeshifting to a single individual animal form. As with all my work, unless gender, orientation, or other aspects of sexuality are explicitly stated, I suggest not making assumptions. Probably most significant, I think, is a major trans character who appears about 80K words in - no spoilers, just a note for those who care about that one way or the other.

8 152How I found Neverland
I made this for a fanfic contest, but I really love it. Branch just wanted to visit his friend in Calypsio. But then he heard a rumor and had to explore. Will he and his crew make it out alive? Finished.

- HIATUS - One chilly spring morning, the world begins to shift. Suddenly, five individuals find themselves in possession of more potential than they can imagine, and are left trying to find their place in a rapidly changing world. The world is changing, but into what? This story follows Chris and four other humans as they reenter the world as harbringers of the system, dragging chaos in their wake. Edit: I wrote myself into a corner with this one, and its only after taking a writing class that I realize where I went wrong, and it needs a complete rewrite from the top. I considered taking it down, but i'm going to leave it up as a reminder to myself to plan out my magic systems a little better.
