《The Bride of Gojo Satoru》Chapter 31

Mommy and daddy dropped me off at my big brother's room so they could go to the doctor's appointment. I wanted to come but they said I could once my siblings were bigger. I complied because I didn't want to be too difficult for them. Mommy always says that daddy's a hassle to deal with so I didn't want to be lumped with him. Although it would've been nice if they took me, but it's okay I have other friends to play with.
"Alright, Nao, we'll be back later to pick you up! Be a good boy to your older brothers and sister." Mommy knelt down to my level, brushing my hair back as she leaned in to kiss my forehead. Mommy's soft lips spread her love and warmth throughout my body, making me giggle from her unconditional love for me. Just from that kiss, I knew how much she really loved me. I'm a very special person in her heart...higher than daddy.
"Hehe, okay mommy. You can trust me! I'm a big boy now!" I shined her a big happy smile before skipping to big brother's room. I didn't need them to walk me there since I've been here countless times. Someone can blind fold me and I'll be able to find my way to his room because I'm that good.
Knock knock knock
It only took a few seconds for big brother to open the door after knocking three times. Brother Megumi had a pleasant expression painted on his face: a small smile tugged his lips while his eyes relaxed by the sight of me. "Hey there buddy!" He extended his hand out and ruffled my white hair. His hand didn't put much force onto my head as his fingers messed up my hair like always.
"Hi big bro!"
Big brother gestured to me to come inside, and I sat on his bed criss cross applesauce.
"I heard from your mom that she's going to a doctor's appointment with your dad. Are you excited to be a big brother?" Brother Megumi curiously asked, sitting in a chair right beside his desk.
I wondered if he knew if my mommy was having triplets. It really shocked me to hear that. As long as mommy's happy then I'm happy. She no longer has to dote on me anymore when she has new babies to take her attention. Big boys like me don't need my parents' attention. "Ummm, I'm okay I guess. I don't really mind, but that means I have to work really hard to protect my siblings." I curled my fists into tight balls as this was my first mission to accomplish once they're born. Being their big brother meant bearing responsibilities. I can't let anyone down, not even my parents.
"Siblings? Like plural? Not singular?"
I see that brother wasn't informed about it at all. "Yes, mommy is having triplets! So I also have to help her too! I think grandma and grandpa might be home as well? I'm not too sure, but I know the house is going to be more livelier!" I can't imagine how loud the house was going to be. Babies are going to cry left and right while mommy and daddy will have to run back and forth to tend their needs. My grandparents will be aiding them in some kind of way while I do something to pass time. It's only if they want me to help them I will. I don't want to be another add on if they can handle it. Nonetheless, everyone's going to be happy.

"O-oh I see." Brother Megumi looked taken back by my confirmation. "Does that make you even more happier?"
"Well, it's not for me. It's for them so I'm fine with whatever." I shrugged. I felt like nobody understood that I don't care whether I'm a big brother or not. They always have to ask to reassure themselves. I'm not against anything. As matter of fact, I'm very open to what life has to offer.
Then brother changed the topic. "Kugisaki and Itadori are out today, so it's just me and you. What do you want to do today?"
My heart faltered a bit hearing that my two best friends weren't here. It's always fun to have more people, but it's okay Megumi's also fun too. "Ummm... Let's play hide and seek!" Since the school was big, it'll be much fun to hide. There's a lot of good hiding places on school grounds. I hope this doesn't cause brother to cry if he can't find me, but he should know that I won't ever leave this place.
"Okay. Don't go too far because I don't want the both of us to get in trouble."
"Yes!" I nodded my head, already knowing the future consequence of my action.
"I'm going to count. Go hide before I reach 20, little Nao!"
I happily skipped off, running out of the dormitory part of the school. It would be too easy to find me if I'm still here so I needed to go out. As my feet ran as fast as it could, I came across this cute room with stuffed animals. It piqued my interest, making me gravitate towards the room instead of trying to find a hiding place.
Sliding the door to the side, I carefully and quietly walked inside, closing the door behind me. The room wasn't dark at all as there was a person who was in the back making these dolls. It was a buff man who daddy always talked about—his old teacher who's now the principal of the school. It didn't seem like I disturbed him as he kept creating the dolls.
"This must be at least my third time meeting you, young Gojo."
"Y-yes!" I nervously choked out because he looked kind of scary even though he's making cute stuffed animals. "I'm Gojo Naozumi! It's a pleasure to meet you!" I bowed to my elder, showing signs of respect.
"Heh..." He chuckled, stopping his needle felt animals. "I'm glad that you take your mother's courtesy rather than your father's rudeness." Everyone's always happy to know I take after my mommy than daddy. I don't know how they saw him, but daddy's not that bad of a person. He can be childish at times but that's just his personality. "I'm Yaga Masamichi, your father's former teacher when he was a high schooler."
"I heard about you from my daddy." I wanted to move in closer to check out his dolls, but I was a bit afraid to. I have to give people's personal space, and that's a word daddy doesn't understand when it comes to his friends or mommy. There's never a day where daddy would tackle mommy down when he's back home from work. However, now that she's pregnant, he can't do that anymore. He just comes home and hugs her carefully without being too reckless in hurting her. "All he said to me was that you're a good teacher who made him enjoy his youth!"
"Is that so?" Yaga quietly said as if he's reminiscing his old days of being my daddy's teacher. "Your dad was a troublemaker and still is! I can tell you many stories about him and what I had to endure. Come here. It seems like you want to check out my dolls." He was quick to read me like I'm an open book, gesturing to me as I made my way to him. He seemed very nice despite his scary appearance.

"You like making dolls?" I asked, sitting right beside him. It's not like I see people make toys with my bare eyes. They're always plopped in the stores already pre-made.
"Yes, I do. It's a part of my technique." He whispered the last word, and I gave him a surprised face. Never in my life would I find out that creating dolls can be a person's technique.
"Wow so cool! Maybe you can teach me how to make one!" I smiled at him, wailing my invisible tail in his direction. "I can make them for my parents and incoming siblings!" Closing my eyes for a split second, I imagined my parents enjoying my gift to them. They would cherish it because it came from my heart and love. For sure my little siblings would adore it too because their big brother poured his everything into making it.
Then a big hand ruffled my hair again, instantly making me open my eyes. Everyone keeps on ruffling my fluffy hair. Was it that fun? "Young Gojo, if you ever want a lesson, I am always open to teach you since someone's eager to learn." Yaga pleasantly grinned. "Now I think Fushiguro is waiting for you."
When he said that, I turned my head to the entrance where big brother was standing. He waited at the doorway, not wanting to interrupt until Yaga was done talking to me. I'm not going to lie, I kind of got side tracked by seeing Yaga's dolls. It wasn't a bad thing though. I made another friend while at it. Getting on my feet, I quickly rushed over to brother Megumi. "Sorry! I got carried away! But since you found me, it's my turn!"
After going back and forth of finding each other, it was finally my last and final turn of playing this game as I was the one to hide. Running outside again, I encountered another part of the school which I haven't really gone to but seen from afar. It was the training ground area where there's a tall tower right next to it. Nobody ever told me what the tower was, but I believe it's a great place to hide. Not thinking too much about the tower, I dashed inside to blend in the darkness or behind big objects.
Inside this tower building, there were pillars with candles inside of them, lighting up a walkway to a certain location of this place. I didn't feel scared to follow because this place was safe regardless so why fear? If it wasn't a jujutsu school, then I would run back to brother Megumi. My footsteps weren't heard echoing from the tall ceiling. I've somewhat mastered noiseless ninja feet by the help of my daddy.
Instantly an eerie voice stopped my tracks from entering this certain room. "How are we going to kill Gojo Ena? She's a big threat to our society. If we have her live another day, she's going to find a way to team up with Sukuna and Geto Suguru to take down humanity."
My breath hitched as my heart stopped momentarily. A bucket of cold ice washed down on me while fear lingered in my body. People wanted my mommy dead?! That's absurd because mommy would never want to hurt other people, and Sukuna's a nice person who only cares about me, mommy, and Nozomi. From what it seemed like, Sukuna's done being a bad guy like how everyone sees him as. I needed to tell mommy and daddy about this. No one's going to hurt my mommy or my siblings because they wanted her dead. I can't imagine a life without my mommy by my side. My eyes began watering as sad thoughts took over. It would be so lonely and sad. I know daddy would have a hard time being happy because she's the one who unites us, and daddy only has eyes for her too. Nobody can stop daddy from staring at mommy with love filled in his blue eyes. My blurry vision cleared once my tears dropped from my golden eyes which I shared with mommy. I watched my wet tears hit the cement ground beneath me.
"Yuta, would you do the honor and slay her life at the next meeting?" Someone asked.
Hearing this go down caused me to be more terrified. I felt my knees lose strength to keep myself standing as I covered my mouth from leaking any crying noises. My body leaned against a wall for support. I wanted to run out of here but I couldn't; I was too scared to leave. This felt like a responsibility to bear because I stepped into the lion's den without knowing. If I were to leave now, then I won't know their plans on trying to kill my mommy. I swear I'll try to suppress any noises in preventing myself from getting exposed. I had to keep this together for mommy's sake.
The man Yuta spoke up, "I only kill cursed spirits. Ending a human life is not my duty unless they're no longer human."
"Oh? So you can't follow this order from us?" I'm guessing the big boss questioned Yuta's allegiance.
"Be warned that if you try to touch Ena, then you all will face death by sorcerers."
Was this man really standing up for my mommy? Was he really a good guy who can be trusted? Wiping my tears and breathing shakily under my slightly quivering yet closed lips, I listened to what Yuta had to say.
Yuta continued in a venomous tone, "First off, you have no solid evidence about her being Nozomi or having any affiliation with the two enemies. Secondly, she's pregnant so it would go against our morals to kill a pregnant woman. Since sorcerers value all their offspring, killing Ena means death penalty. Thirdly, you're dealing with the Gojo clan. You have no chance of winning at the end. It's better to stop this and let it go."
"...are you deflecting our question?" The big boss asked in a heavier and meaner tone to scare off Yuta.
However, Yuta spoke calmly as if he wasn't affected by the change of the big boss' voice. "I only kill cursed spirits... Isn't that our job as sorcerers to do? Kill cursed spirits?" Then his footsteps began walking away from the room I almost entered in.
Now this was my time to run for my life. I needed to hide from that Yuta man or else he might kill me too for listening in. No one likes when plans are spoiled. Dashing off because my life depended on it, I kept going until I reached the exit. The bright light from the afternoon sky shined as I made it out alive. It blinded me just a bit, making me squint my eyes but I soon adjusted to it once I fully opened my eyes.
I had to find big brother so he could call my parents to pick me up ASAP. Mommy and daddy needed to know this information. I don't want mommy to die. Again, tears swelled up behind my waterline as my vision blurred. If only I was big then I can protect mommy just like daddy.
"Oh, you must be Gojo-sensei's son. I kind of remember seeing you last year." The familiar voice sounded like the man Yuta. "Your name is... Naozumi, if I'm corrected."
Whipping around with fear struck in my eyes, not only my tears streamed down but I charged at him, hitting him with my balled fists. I did this without thinking. "Why! Why! Why do you want to hurt my mommy?! She didn't do anything to hurt people! She's a good and sweet person!" I wailed as he didn't try to stop my punches. He just let me hit him. "If... If you try to hurt her, I make sure everyone regrets it!!"
Looking up at the man Yuta, he sighed gently as he grabbed my hands to stop me from hitting him. He knelt down and wiped my reddened eyes with his thumb. His finger lightly tugged my skin, drying my tears. "No one is going to hurt your mom; your dad won't let that happen. I and other sorcerers, who love your mom, won't let it happen either. Your mom's ability is well respected and needed in the jujutsu society. The higher ups reasonings to eliminate your mom is dumb. They're just scared that once the power they held is no longer in their hands is when sorcerers will change this world. I'm pretty sure you overheard me indirectly telling them I won't do it. I will never harm a pregnant woman." Yuta ruffled my hair, presenting me a tender smile from his truthful heart. "Don't cry because we and others will protect your mom."
"Nao!" I heard big brother calling for me. "Oh! Okkotsu-senpai! I didn't know you were back!" Brother Megumi came rushing over to us, and he quickly spotted my red eyes. Brother looked so taken back by my sudden appearance since I wasn't crying earlier. I was a happy little boy who was playing hide and seek with his older brother. "Nao, why are you—"
Yuta interrupted him, apologizing to the both of us. "I scared him by accident, Fushiguro! I did my best to stop his tears from falling. But now I have to take a phone call. I'll see you around!" He chuckled, excusing himself as he left the area.
After that, I didn't see Yuta around and my parents came to pick me up.
"We're back!!" Daddy proudly and loudly announced, running towards me with open arms. He had a big smile on his happy face like usual. "I hope you didn't miss us too much!" Daddy scooped me into his arms, twirling me around as I giggled from his playfulness. It seemed like he had energy to spare.
"Haha! I missed your students more than you, daddy!" I teased him, watching his lips and eyes immediately frowned upon hearing my words. Daddy looked dejected and it was funny. He loves to feel confident and appreciated when I tell him the words he wanted to hear.
"Nao..." Daddy's voice cracked, and I knew he was pretending to be sad with his puppy eyes. "You really don't miss daddy?" He rested his forehead on my small forehead as his blue orbs stared sadly at me. I could see water brimming in his eyes. He really was going to throw the crying tactic on me? I better stop this or else it'll make mommy mad.
"I'm just playing! I miss daddy and mommy too!" I wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed my cheek against his warm face. I hoped this stopped daddy.
Then mommy glued herself beside us. "Were you a good boy to Megumi?"
I nodded my head because I'm always a good boy no matter what. I don't like causing trouble because it's a headache to think about. If I cause a ruckus, then my parents will be involved and I'll get in trouble, losing my parents' trust in everything... And I don't want that rift to ruin all our good memories and bonds. "Yes, mommy!" I beamed her a smile to light a fire in her heart. I will cure any annoyance daddy has caused mommy today.
At home, mommy showed us a picture of my siblings. "Look, these are your little siblings!" Staring at the picture, they looked so tiny. It was weird looking at them. They looked like some type of alien. "They're going to be cute as you, Nao."
"Was I like that too?" I asked, feeling a bit confused from the picture of my siblings. "Do all babies look like that? So am I an alien too?!"
Mommy's jaw dropped and then she covered it up with a laugh while daddy tried to hold it in. It seemed like he wanted mommy to explain rather than him as he tried to run away, but mommy was quick to grab his wrist. "No, sweetie. You're not an alien! All babies look like this. It's called a 'fetus'." She awkwardly tried to explain to me about the baby's development, but I wasn't understanding it until daddy ripped me away from mommy.
"Honey, read your novels. He's too young to understand that." Daddy traded me out for a book, pushing me behind him. "I'm going to cook dinner, and Nao's going to do something! I love you!" He kissed mommy's cheek and ran away with me.
For the meantime, mommy was reading a book in the living room while daddy was cooking in the kitchen. I didn't feel like playing with my toys because I thought back to the big boss or so-called the higher ups wanting my mommy dead. I couldn't just live life normally knowing that those people wanted to target her. Stepping out of my bedroom, I peaked my head behind a wall to see mommy busy. I contemplated asking her about it, but I don't think it'll be a great idea since I was told to not stress mommy out or else she'll lose the babies. So I had to go to my daddy about it.
"Daddy, I need to have a serious man-to-man talk with you."
"Oh?" Daddy stopped everything he was doing and bent down to my height. Then he leaned into my ear and whispered, "You know that means we can't tell mommy right?"
"I know. My lips are sealed!"
"What is she doing?" Daddy asked, trying to make sure that mommy won't waltz into our conversation and get mad at us.
"She's reading still."
The next thing I knew, we were hiding behind a kitchen counter. This was a precaution to take so mommy couldn't find us talking in private. Daddy looked funny because he's 75% legs and 25% torso. He resembled a daddy long leg spider. His legs were just long. It made me wonder if I'm going to be as tall as daddy? I hope not though because it seemed like he's struggling to squat down.
"So what's up, son?"
I didn't hide anything from him as I told daddy the truth from what I heard at the tower place. The more he heard from me, the more his face turned grim, and he was no longer happy.

The Archaic Elements
A fantasy world, its own unique power-up system, some mystery aspects to make it look interesting and an MC that should make sense but well messes up, cause plot. Flashy fights. Characters will use their brain, unless it is an arrogant young master that needs to be taught a lesson. The starting is slow and maybe boring. The main MC does not desire great strength or harbor any great ambition. He starts out as a naive, lazy and a boring person. But the story does hold one aspect which will fuel the growth of our MC, which is his boundless curiosity for adventure and his will to explore. The second MC is a reincarnation/transmigration and he has a clear cut aim that he needs to achieve. His past life experiences also becomes a pillar that will help guide the main MC, while his friend also supports him. The writing is slow and steady. I will provide reasonings behind most happenings and keep it a logical story. It's a WIP as I edit the previous chapters even as I release more, so while the content doesn't change, the style and smoothness improve. The current release rate is 3 chapter/week. There is no specific date as I can get sidetracked or forgetful., but I will try to stick to Tues, Thurs and Sunday releases.

Natural Alchemist
Will is poor. This is a fact he does not like about himself. Even back at his home village he was considered poor, but poor in the big city means something completely different than poor in a small village... It means ten hour days of hard manual labor with barely enough money to survive, and poor living conditions. He's sick of it, and desperate for change. Perhaps that was what made him decide to spend such a large portion of his savings on a mysterious potion from that beggar... That, and it seemed so special when he held it. But ever since that day, he's been having the strangest dreams... And the work is really starting to take a toll on his body... Author's Note: I wasn't sure which mature content warnings I should put on this novel, as I'm pretty much pantsing the story. I'm putting them there mostly as a percaution, but also to not limit myself as to where the story can go. This is my first time writing and publishing anything substantial. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
