《The Bride of Gojo Satoru》Chapter 16

"Why are we here?" Maki sighed, staring at the beautiful beach in front of us. Maki and Megumi looked so done with Gojo's antics, whereas the rest were either excited or fine with this idea.
"YAHOO!!" Yuji and Panda ran towards the water in their swimming trunks. Those two were more excited than the rest of us. I was brought in because everyone likes me more than Gojo. My sly husband specifically said that I was the key to bringing everyone together before we have another catastrophe.
Holding onto the strap of my beach bag, I apologized to Maki for lying to her. "I didn't mean to lie, but it was for a good reason..." Gojo's bubbly face crossed my mind as I closed my eyes for a split second. "Why don't you all relax under the warm sun and chill for today? Sometimes everyone needs a break from killing spirits."
"Brother Megumi! Let's build a sandcastle together!" Naozumi grabbed the gloomy Megumi and dragged him off. Megumi can't be annoyed forever while Naozumi is by his side. My son is a ball of sunshine.
"Well, let's all get going! We won't be leaving any time soon!" I ushered the rest of the students to the sandy ground as we walked off the concrete.
I sat in a beach chair underneath a big umbrella. Since I'm getting old, I have to be careful of how long I'm exposed in the sun. I'm not trying to get sunspots right now or not even later in life. I still want to look youthful in my 50s. Everyone looked like they were having fun at the beach. Yuji and Panda were swimming around; Naozumi, Megumi, and Inumaki were building a giant sandcastle; and the two girls were chilling right next to me.
"I'm going to be back!" Kugisaki said, grinning from her thoughts. "I'm going to find a modeling agency since it's the beach. We're in Tokyo after all!" She skipped off from the distance.
Looking around my surroundings, Gojo was nowhere to be seen. He said he was going to buy water, but it's been ten minutes. Then an idea dreaded my soul... What if he was getting hit on by other women?! He did look fine as wine today. He showed off his ripped body since he didn't want to wear a muscle shirt to cover himself up. Girls must be fawning over his chocolate abs.
"I'll be right back... I'm going to find my idiot." I heavily sighed, pushing myself off my seat. "Watch over all of them, Maki." She's the most responsible one in the group beside me. I swear, if he's actually getting hit on when I see him at the nearby convenience store, hell is going to break loose.
Just when I approached the entrance of the convenience store, the automatic doors opened and I heard girls giggling. "That's probably my tall giant..." No one else would make a big fuss but the handsome Gojo Satoru. He wasn't even a celebrity yet many girls simped over him just by his looks.
I stood in my place and watched the scene unfold.
"Hehe... You're so handsome! Why don't you tell us your name?" Young girls clung onto his arms like a moth to a bright light, and Gojo had the audacity to call me a cougar when young girls were surrounding him. He might as well be called a pervert too.
A worrisome expression was on his face as Gojo played it cool. "Thanks, but I'm here with my family!" Gojo politely declined, trying not too harsh. His gentleman side towards rejecting women was still the same as ever. He couldn't straight up be blunt and turn away from them.

No matter how many times I have to witness him getting hit on, my heart still aches in jealousy. I wanted to throw them off of him and be possessive, but I can't keep doing that. I'm not a toxic woman. He has to handle this situation while I sit back and watch, or make the situation worse. It all depended on my mood.
This coy girl was testing my nerves as she pressed her boobs against his arm while she gazed at him with lustful intention. "But you're a grown man. I'm pretty sure your family won't question why it's taking so long..." Did she think Gojo was with his parents? Gosh she's dumb and I wanna sick her.
Staring at Gojo's face from afar, his eyes rolled up, looking a bit uncomfortable. I don't know if he senses me, but I hope he does. I'm watching his every move like a hawk to its prey.
"Mommy, don't hurt yourself." I suddenly felt Naozumi uncurling my fist which I did unconsciously. I didn't even feel my nails digging into my skin because my mind was filled with what's in front of me. Naozumi decided to place his small hand into mine so I wouldn't hurt myself again.
"Thanks, baby." I ruffled his hair. "Weren't you with Megumi?" The last time I checked, he was building a sandcastle. Did he run over here to find me all by himself? My son has no fear at all. It's like he already knows we'll find him if he's lost in this big area.
"Yes, I was but I wanted to see you, so I went off on my own! I lied to Megumi that I had to use the bathroom." I was on the verge of scolding him for lying to Megumi, but his angelic smile changed my mind. I'm such a bad mom for letting it slide, yet I couldn't resist my own child's cuteness and purity. "Mommy, why is daddy surrounded by girls?" We watched Gojo try to gently reject the group of cattles.
"I don't know, baby... Your daddy has always attracted girls even before we dated. He's too handsome that sometimes I want to lock him in the house so this would stop happening." If I could, I would but that would be too psychotic of me. I'm not crazy, I'm trying to prevent this from happening over and over again. "What should we do?" Naozumi's a smart and bright child. I know he has some genius ideas that we can do to rescue his daddy since he's having a hard time getting himself out of his own mess.
"Let's go say hi to him, and if they don't back off..." Naozumi paused, making the suspense grow between us. A big devilish grin appeared on his face. "We will make sure they won't approach daddy ever again."
His response made me chuckle at my cunning son. "You're growing up to be like me everyday... I'm proud of you!" I hoped Naozumi wasn't a chick magnet when he got older. I doubted he wanted to be one after seeing it happening to his daddy.
Holding my son's hand, we approached—more like pushed—the girls out of our way.
"Hey!"
"Watch it!"
I held in my inner scoff as I wanted to mock them, but I have to be cool about it. I have to kill them with kindness first and then end it with class. Glancing down at Naozumi, he kept his eyes on his dad.
We stood in front of him and the clingy girl. "Hi daddy!" Naozumi cheerfully said, keeping a calm yet buoyant composure.

"Is that his son? He's so adorable!"
"I'll be his stepmom for sure,"
I bit my tongue to hold back any pettiness of mine. They have the guts to say that right in front of the mom right here, but I won't let them ignore my presence as if I'm invisible to them. I know they can see me; I'll make myself very clear. "Sorry, we didn't hand out a stepmom application...and never will either. You guys can homewreck someone else's marriage but not mine." I half smiled at the glaring girls, burning my eyes to their pea brains. If looks could kill, they all would be dead because they can't stand a chance against me.
"Babe! Nao! I'm glad you're here!" Gojo looked relieved to see the both of us. Why does it feel like I'm always rescuing him from this type of situation? Since the bastard loves to be kinky on purpose, I'll put a leash on him and have my name written on the collar so people know his owner. I'll get that for him on his birthday perhaps.
Naozumi let go of my hand, running over to hold Gojo's, the one which was far away from the girl, and gave the girl a dirty look from being too close to his married dad. I, on the other hand, didn't hesitate to throw the girl off him. My hands firmly yanked her and tossed her to the side like the unwanted trash she was. I didn't need to say any last words because it wasn't worth my time. Me and Naozumi made our point clear that he's with his family, not trying to find another person to cheat on. "Let's go babe—" We couldn't even excuse ourselves without the angered girl retorting something so trivial.
"W-who doesn't like youthful women?!"
I intensely rolled my eyes up at her. I didn't care to hide my expressive face. She can use her beauty against me since I'm so-called old.
"You're wearing a rashguard and swimming shorts. Compared to me, who's wearing a hot bikini, you aren't confident in your looks at all!" She sounded desperate and a bit hysterical. Her face was a bit red too. Possibly from the sun or trying to use her brain so much that it's causing her to have a physical reaction.
"Honey, you look hot in your rashguard." Gojo complimented me, quickly refuting her statement.
I turned side to side, allowing him to get a better look at all angles. "Thanks babe! You chose it after all." Lies he didn't. He insisted me to wear a sexy bikini, but I said no because we were going to be with his students. I had to dress modestly for their poor eyes. Nonetheless, I convinced him to reconsider or else I'll constantly get hit on by other guys at the beach. That was a deal breaker for him.
"Ma'am," Naozumi stepped into the conversation with manners and geared his attention to the fuming girl. "Insulting my mommy is insulting me. You calling her ugly is calling me ugly too despite you all saying I'm adorable. If you think beauty is everything, go find a man who likes only your beauty, not your foul personality." Naozumi dropped the mic as the girl's face intensely wrinkled from sheer embarrassment. My son knew how to end it with class. "Don't furrow your eyebrows too much. You'll get wrinkles and the man you're looking for won't find you attractive. Have a good day!"
We turned our backs to them and walked off.
Once we were far from them, I began laughing from my child's comeback. He's too good at this. He should make this into a career to roast people.
"Wow Nao, you're really good at your comebacks. Do you practice that with mommy?"
Naozumi shook his head. "No, I just don't tolerate people who verbally abuse mommy. Why don't you be a little bit meaner and reject them? If you were snarky like me then you wouldn't have a problem with girls hitting on you."
I slapped my knee as I kept laughing. I love Naozumi so much. I can't believe he's my son.
Back at the beach, Gojo decided to do a sandcastle competition with his students. Whichever sandcastle gets the most votes will win and they have one hour to build. "If your team wins, we can eat wherever you choose!" His statement reeled everybody in.
"You're on!" Yuji and Kugisaki yelled, feeling pumped for this while Megumi could care less. His tired expression said it all. He's only doing it because his peers were there to force him.
"Come on, guys! We can do this!" Panda encouraged his teammates. Inumaki went with the flow and Maki constructed their overall design.
"Mommy, let's help daddy!" Naozumi pulled me out from the umbrella shade and to Gojo.
"I suppose..." I felt like Megumi too; I didn't want to do this either, but my husband and son were doing it also so I'm forced to.
Planning the sandcastle, Gojo was telling me and Naozumi his bizarre plan for creating a palace with detailed animals and plants. It sounded more like an architect speaking than a rookie.
"Babe, you know it's sand...not clay we're playing."
"Yes I know, but my idea is amazing!" It's more complicated than amazing.
"Well I have a better plan!" My idea was going to make everyone pleased with my work.
One hour later,
"Babeeeeee!" Gojo shouted from his neck downwards being buried by sand.
"I present to you all my sandcastle!" I gestured to the students and most of them laughed in amusement.
"Ena-sensei, it's just Gojo-sensei's head though..." Yuji didn't understand why I chose to use Gojo instead of creating one like the others did.
I told Maki to take a picture of me right next to his head; I posed with a peace sign and smiled as I'm pretty sure he's frowning in the picture. I had to send this to Utahime. She's going to laugh her ass off. "Because Yuji... My husband's face attracts many women so I'm putting him out on display! He's a beautiful sandcastle."
"We weren't participating anyways," Naozumi added. "Now let's go judge their sandcastle!" Our son took my hand as we looked at the first years: it was a random sloppy job, but it's the effort that counts. The three part castle all looked different as if they butted heads. One part of their three part castle began to slide down as if it was too watery.
"Megumi, weren't you building sandcastles with Nao? I thought it would've turned out better?"
"I tried but it didn't turn out good."
"Oh I see..." He was just too lazy to do it for sure.
Next, the second years were more structured and well thought out. It didn't look professional but at an amateur level. Perhaps Maki's leadership put unison into their artwork.
"Daddy, which one do you like?" Naozumi skipped over to Gojo carefully, trying his best not to kick up any sand to his daddy's face.
"Nao, tell your mom to help me get out of this. I can't move so I won't be able to cast my vote." Gojo pleaded to our son, in hopes he'll listen to him since he's the dad. However, Naozumi just smiled as he teased Gojo.
"But you're the strongest sorcerer! You can get up by yourself!"
Everyone snickered at my son's retort.
After announcing the winner of the sandcastle, somehow the first years won. I liked the second years, but I guess Gojo and Naozumi were being nice to them.
"Let's go swimming!" Gojo excitedly announced, pumping his fist into the air.
"Gojo-sensei's the best!" Yuji pulled his peers to the sparkling water as Naozumi followed suit.
His students were splashing water to one another. They were smiling and enjoying the time they have now before the worst was yet to come. At least they were able to have more fun as teenagers than sorcerers. Their content faces were clear evidence of pure zest. If only life could be this easy for everyone.
"Ah!" Out of nowhere, Gojo threw me over his shoulders. "B-babe?! What are you doing?" He began marching towards the water where the others were at.
"We're going swimming of course!"
When we approached the shoreline, he tossed me up and my body crashed in the semi-deep salty water.
Splash!
Sinking in the water, I quickly paddled myself to the surface as I gasped for air. "You're careless and crazy!" Gojo had a smug smirk on his damn face. There's no need to look satisfied for throwing me into the water.
Gojo swished over to my side, wrapping his arms around my waist. "I'm crazy for you, and I'll show you later tonight!" He winked and I shyly pushed him away, but he refused to let me go. As I resisted his hold, he only pulled me closer to his hard rock chest. Then he whispered in my reddened ear, "You're so shy... What should we name our next child? I'm hoping it's a girl. I want a little Ena running around." My heart raced a mile away from his boldness to say this out in the public.
"Babe!" I hissed in fake agony. I hated how he can be borderline freaky and not care who's around us.
"Daddy! You're always stealing mommy away from me!"
Splash!
Naozumi swished water in his direction as it hit Gojo more than me since his big body was covering me. "Sorry, Buddy. She's my wife and I want her!" I anchored my neck back to see him sticking his tongue at Naozumi.
This man-child....
Naozumi marched over like a big boy he was and declared war. "She's my mommy! You're always hogging her away from me!"
Slowly I wiggled myself from Gojo's grip and slipped away before their water battle began. Coincidentally, I bumped into Yuji while I made my escape. "Oh! Yuji!" I had something to ask him.
"Hey Ena-sensei!" Yuji gleamed.
I have been curious about what happened when I left the little hangout or pre-date with Sukuna. "Sukuna and Nozomi... What exactly happened?" He literally third wheeled since he's consciously there but not controlling his own body.
Yuji's face turned pale, and I noted that it wasn't pleasant. If I was him, I wouldn't have enjoyed it either. "That's a long story..." Yuji explained to me that Sukuna and Nozomi were extremely lovey dovey. He cringed in the background, recalling sweet words he whispered to Nozomi. Yuji even recited them to me, and I was in disbelief of how romantic Sukuna was.
"Is that the Sukuna we really know now? It doesn't sound like him. He sounds like a whole new person!"
Later when nightfall began to color the sky darker, we all sat in a restaurant that the first years chose.
"I hope your wallet isn't crying after this..." I whispered to Gojo since he's the money maker in the house. I wonder how many figures he make? It never piqued my curiosity.
"Daddy, take me to the bathroom."
"Sure thing, Nao."
Naozumi and Gojo exited the table, and the rest of them sighed in relief. My eyes widened a bit from their odd behavior. Gojo never makes the air tense, only if he's with the higher ups. Usually, he's carefree and radiates airhead vibes.
"What's wrong with you guys?" I asked.
Kugisaki spoke up the question everyone's been thinking about for a while. "Why'd you marry a guy like Gojo-sensei? You both have polar personalities."
"She's the only one who can actually tame that idiot." Maki chimed, putting her statement in since she witnessed it before.
"They've been together since they were young." Megumi carelessly said, and his peers turned their attention to him. "I know this because he visited me this one day as a kid and he brought Ena-sensei with him. He wore his school uniform and a pair of black sunglasses."
"Even if Ena-sensei tells us, we already know how much Gojo-sensei really loves her. He would leave class if a minor emergency happened." Panda recalled the trivial events from last year, and I sharply inhaled. Those times were tough...
"Tuna tuna," Inumaki simply said.
Leaning back in my chair, an adorn smile marked my face. "It's...a crazy love story if I do say so myself. He's a goofball most of the time, but there are many reasons why I'm still with him—not because we have a child—but it's companionate love." Then I begin telling the tale of me and Gojo. "We met in a weird situation..."
While the story was going on, Gojo and Naozumi came back. "Oh, telling them about our love story huh? I didn't know my students were curious." He plopped himself right next to me and listened in.
Once the story was over, Gojo pulled me close to him. "That's why our love is stronger than ever! Do you want to hear my side of the story?"
Immediately, Maki and Megumi declined while the rest were fine with it.
"I see how it is, Maki, Megumi... You guys were my favorite students." Gojo saltily said, pouting at them.
