❝she meets the new transfer❞

"marri, today's a special day", satoru hummed, waking his little princess up as she refused to set an alarm because she liked seeing her father first thing in the morning.

"hm? why? is santa coming early and dropping my present off?", marri yawned, rubbing her eyes as satoru chuckled, picking the girl up.

"not exactly, but there's a new transfer coming in to jujutsu high", satoru positively said.

"oh. is it that yūta kid you always talk about?"

"nope! well...he kind of resembles him now that you mention it, but no".

"oh...should we buy flowers for him? like the ones that are grown in the pots? because hanamin said those are still alive", marri said.

"do you want to?", satoru asked.

"mhm!! we can get orchids. let me first brush my teeth and stuff though", marri stated as she hopped out of her father's arms and ran into the bathroom.

"BY THE WAY, WHEN'S THE TOKYO VERSUS KYOTO BATTLE HAPPENING?", marri shouted, using her electrical toothbrush as satoru could hear the vibration throughout the bathroom.

"it was supposed to happen this week, but since we now have a new student, we're postponing it to after new years", satoru replied.

"OH!"

marri was forced to wear a puffy pink coat with a sheep-like furry sweater on the inside, as winter was cold as hell.

the little girl's cheeks and nose were tinted pink as she could even see her warm breath evaporate into nothing.

"papa, are we almost there?", marri asked, holding the pot of orchids with both her stubby little arms as they headed towards jujutsu high.

as much as satoru wanted to help his daughter carry the plant, the tiny girl refused, as she claimed that she was a big girl now.

"of course princess!! in fact, we're here right now", satoru exclaimed, as the students were all huddled outside, waiting for the little girl.

"GOOMI!! I'M HERE, I'M HERE, I'M HERE!!", marri screamed as all the jujutsu high students turned to see a little pot of orchids waddling back and forth up the stairs, as it's stem covered the girl's face.

itadori snorted as megumi harshly nudged the boy, bending down as he helped marri carry the plant.

"marri, who's this for?"

"the new student. by the way, where is he?", the little girl asked, looking around as she scanned for an unfamiliar face.

"o-oh, here! I'm yoshino junpei. nice to meet you", a boy with a mullet had bowed.

marri then bowed too.

"I'M GOJŌ MARI AND IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU TOO!", the girl widely smiled, forcing megumi to give the pot of orchids to the boy.

"o-oh, thank you!! so...you're gojō-sensei's kid?", yoshino asked.

"mhm! the one and only", marri smiled as they all headed towards the inside of jujutsu high, as it was freezing outside.

the students all sat in the common room of their dorms, meanwhile gojō was summoned by the principal.

"so how old are you, marri-chan?", yoshino asked, trying to make conversation as even though he's new, he's heard quite a lot about her already.

"four! I turn five on february fourteenth", marri smiled, crawling onto megumi's lap as she asked for him to summon one of his shikigami rabbits.

"oh really? that's so cool that your birthday's on valentine's day", yoshino replied.

"oh, thank you! I picked it", marri said.

"p-pardon?"

"I picked my birthday, because my papa doesn't actually know when I was born. actually...no one does but my birth mom. but papa doesn't even know who she is", marri laughed, to which this was a first for the jujutsu students.

they all awkwardly glanced at each other meanwhile marri softly stroked the rabbit's fur.

"oh...sorry...", yoshino quietly mumbled.

"hm? why?? don't be sad. you look sad. I mean, look how lucky I am!! I have papa, uncle nanamin, you all as my friends, even s'kuna, hito, and my secret an—my point is...I like how I am now", marri cheerfully explained.

everybody felt their hearts cry as marri sweetly smiled at megumi, leaning against his chest as she tried to make sure the rabbit didn't slip off her lap.

"anyways, christmas is coming up and I was wondering if you guys wanted to come join my party", marri invited.

"of course!!", panda immediately answered with kugisaki and itadori.

"salmon!!"

"a-are you sure that it's okay for me to join too?", yoshino asked.

"of course!! there'll be food and we've already put up the decorations!! also, you can meet my curse friends. they're all very nice", marri nodded, making yoshino just shake his head.

"by the way, can I call you jun? did you know your name spelled in english is like the sixth month, june? uncle nanamin gave me this book about the birthstones and stuff relating to the months. and there's three birthstones: alex....alexandrite, moonstone, and pearl!"

yoshino was shell shocked.

what the hell was going on?

"I think you kind of look like a pearl. you're like pretty...ya know?", marri honestly said, making itadori burst out into laughter as yoshino just confusingly agreed.

"like do you have a girlfriend?", marri asked, to which megumi facepalmed.

"u-umm....n-no...."

"oh well...that's too bad", marri shrugged.

"hey, wait a second! why didn't you ask if I had a girlfriend when we first met?", itadori asked.

"no offense yūji, but I doubt you'll ever get one as long as you share a body with s'kuna", marri honestly replied, making the pink-haired boy loudly gasp, along with sukuna, who had popped out of itadori's cheek.

"what do mean?! we're a two for one package!!", the two said at the same time.

marri cleared her throat as she looked up at megumi.

"so goomi, can you invite mr. tōji too?"

"HEY!", the two shouted, to which marri had started giggling, which had caused a fit of laughter to go around the circle of students.

marri glanced over as she watched yoshino chuckle, to which she was glad that she could make him smile and feel welcomed.

"I'll ask", megumi finally answered.

"perfect!! it's going to be a holly jolly chirstmas!"
