❝she meets her secret angel❞
"you guys already have your christmas tree and decorations up? it's like the first week of november!", itadori stated.
"your point?", marri asked, smiling at the sparkling angel — that was created with swarovski crystals to impersonate marri's beauty (as she was the angel) — on top of the tree.
itadori sighed.
"I cannot argue with a kid", the pink-haired boy said.
"yeah, because you know you won't win", marri stated, to which kugisaki and fushiguro had snorted as itadori gasped.
"the sass!"
"is immaculate, I know", marri shrugged.
"how do you even know that word?!"
"...s'kuna...", the little girl muttered, making a mouth and an eye pop out from itadori's cheek.
"I told you not to tell!!"
"BUT I COULDN'T HELP IT!", marri huffed, running over to itadori as she made grabby hands.
the usual lines had then appeared as sukuna scoffed, crossing his arms as he refused to carry the girl.
"marri, do you want to go grocery shopping with papa?", satoru asked.
"no. I wanna go with s'kuna", the little girl bluntly said, to which satoru's jaw had dropped.
"MARRI! HOW COULD YOU?!"
"come on s'kuna. we've got places to be and things to do", marri said as she grabbed onto the curse's hand, to which kugisaki and fushiguro were left with their devastated sensei.
it honestly wasn't marri's fault that she wanted sukuna's attention because he wasn't giving her any.
"it'll be okay, gojō-sensei. you're her dad after all", kugisaki stated, to which satoru had nodded as they all suddenly heard a ping.
satoru took out his phone as he choked.
kugisaki and fushiguro both raised a brow as they hovered over their sensei's phone.
gojō marri had bought herself a lilac iphone 11.

"s'kuna, why're you being so salty today?", marri asked.
"I'm not", the king of curses grumbled, though his pettiness was terribly shining through.
"mhmmm~ did you eat something bad? or is it because you're tied with hito on my favorite curses list?"
sukuna momentarily stopped walking.
"listen up twerp. if I wanted, I could quite literally kill everyone in this market. BUT NO! YOU PICK SOME DAMN SEWERS RAT AND RANK US THE SAME?!"
sukuna angrily huffed as he then looked at his free hand, only for him to notice that the girl was not holding it.
"oi twerp! I was just kidding, come out!!"
no response.
"TWERP!! COME HERE RIGHT NOW!", sukuna shouted, to which a few people had snapped their heads at the male, scurrying off.
sukuna then twisted his entire body from side to side, looking around as he could not find a white-haired little girl with the most obnoxious smile ever.
"hey brat..."
"yeah what?", itadori asked, yawning as usually he slept whenever sukuna took over to play with marri.
"I think I lost your sensei's child".
"oh".
"OH! OH SHIT! SUKUNA, WHAT THE HELL?!"
"IT WASN'T MY FAULT! IT NEVER IS!"
"IT ALWAYS IS!!", itadori screamed back, to which people have now started giving sukuna weird looks as they thought that he was shouting at thin air.
meanwhile sukuna and itadori shared a single brain cell, marri had followed this man with long dark hair that was dressed like a monk.
"little one, why're you following me?"
marri then cleared her throat, popping out from behind the wall as she awkwardly shuffled her feet towards the familiar man.
"soooo....funny story actually...I was...with my...friend? and then I saw you and decided to follow you!"

"so you're stalking me?", the man questioned, bending down as he got a better look at the little girl standing before him.
"hmm...you do look take after his looks...", the man softly muttered.
"SO YOU ARE HIM!!", marri shouted, immediately covering her mouth as she then heard the man lowly chuckle.
"so you know about me from your father, gojō satoru?"
"no, but I can", the little girl smiled, extending out her newly bought phone as she already had the store manager help her set everything up first.
"oh? so bold for a four year old".
marri gasped. "how'd you know I'm four?! I guess you're the real stalker here".
"you can call me your secret angel. I watch over you and keep you safe", the dark-haired man smiled.
"impossible", marri stated.
"oh? why's that?"
"because papa says that I'm an angel myself. angels don't watch over angels, but I'll buy the lie and go along with it. anyways, please enter your number, mr. secret angel".
the male started laughing as he didn't expect gojō satoru's daughter to be so...brilliantly oriented.
"you really believe me? what if I'm a bad guy?"
"what's your name? I need to put it in my contacts", marri said, ignoring the man's question as she believed that he must not be dangerous if he was friends with his father — even if it was previously.
"getō suguru, and you're marri, right?"
"mhm! so like...can I text you and stuff? or call you? you're my first contact you know? I'll put your name as secret angel since you probably don't want my papa to know about this", the little girl mumbled, partially to herself.
getō snorted as he helped the girl spell the word secret, watching as she struggled to type it.
"sure, and just make sure your father doesn't know. we haven't talked to each other since maybe a decade now", the man reminded.
"I won't...only if you promise to tell me the tea on what happened", marri bargained.
"I don't think I shoul—"
"if you don't I'll tell papa about this...and I'm sure you wouldn't want him to find out", marri interrupted, batting her eyelashes as she let out a cheshire grin.
goodness gracious, she was not just some normal child.
getō sighed. it was just his luck to be caught by the girl after looking over her for her entire life.
the man had obviously heard the news about gojō satoru's daughter throughout the sorcerer world. at first, he found it hilarious when he saw his ex-best friend struggle to take care of the child.
but every now and then, he'd find himself secretly looking over her, protecting her from afar.
"okay okay, but another time. I'm afraid your curse friend's rampaging through the crowd right now", the man laughed as he swiftly disappeared into the alleyway, to which sukuna had appeared right behind marri, huffing.
"YOU TWERP! WHAT IN THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING JUST LEAVING LIKE THAT?! DO YOU HOW WORRIED THE BRAT WAS?!"
"oh, so you're not worried about me?", marri asked, swaying back and forth on her feet as she awaited for the curse to respond.
"tch! no".
"mhm~"
"whatever, let's go now. and next time you run away, at least tell me first. like damn! how fast can you run with your short little legs?!"
"pretty fast if I'm being honest", marri grinned.

Dungeon Scholar
Girl meets dungeon. What could go right? A story of a good-hearted Scholar driven by her compassion and curiosity. She might be a little combat averse, but um, isn't that only logical? Love me a good grimdark, but sometimes I want to read feel-good fiction that isn't pure action, romance, or comedy. The plot and characters of Dungeon Scholar won't be all happy and fluffy, and the world will be more dungeons and monsters than rainbows and puppies, but overall the sweet moments should overshadow the bitter. Let's say three dollops of sugar for every pinch of salt, with lemon slices left on the saucers? Enjoy. Note: This is NOT a typical dungeon story. If you are here for the dungeon aspect, then fair warning this will seem incredibly slow-burn to you. The dungeon will eventually become the most important 'character,' arguably, or the second-most important narratively, but you might jump out the window in frustration long before that happens. At its heart, the story's core remains 'girl meets dungeon,' not 'dungeon meets world.' (To be clear, this does or will have a plot! It's just the more conventional story-like elements contribute to Rowena Loress's greater story, not the other way around; no conflict takes center stage until it becomes personally significant to her. Meanwhile, have some Slice of Life.) Updates every Friday Cover made using Waifulabs Written using 4thewords (referral code: UZJRY55368)

A story of an individual with a cursed past and an unknown future. Follow the journey of Theo trying to find his purpose in a world full of cultivation, magic, and other mystical arts. What happens when someone without a will to live finally gains freedom along with an absurd amount of potential? Will he pursue strength in a world that values nothing but power, or will he decide to live a quiet and normal life for the first time? This is a story of a man with a system (yes, I know, very original), cursed with the faith of a protagonist. Whether he will follow the road of humiliating swarms of ignorant young masters asking for a beating, or carelessly pick up love interests from all corners of the world is yet to be seen. This story features many different realms and power systems, so if you enjoy novels with massive worlds and endless exploration, this is for you. Although it has a system, it is more of a manifestation of his own power and mysterious origin, not some gift from God.This is my first novel, and I am not a native English speaker, so the grammar won’t be perfect, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.
