《BABY GOJŌ {jujutsu kaisen}》chapter 11

❝she wants to mend their relationship❞
"papa...don't you think it's very sad?", marri sighed, laying on top of her father's chest as satoru was watching some random t.v. show.
"yeah. I can't believe kagura decided to leave takeda", satoru replied, clearly referring to his show.
"nooo! I meant goomi and his papa. don't you think it's sad how goomi can't live with his papa and hug him like I hug you?", marri asked.
satoru snorted.
"I cannot imagine those two hugging", the white-haired male chuckled.
"I'm serious papa!! we should go to the zenin household and—"
"absolutely not! I refuse to step into that house", satoru immediately shot down.
"but you go there every year anyways for some meeting, so what's another trip?", marri whined, somewhat salty that satoru never brought her along.
"exactly! once every year is enough, and I'd like to make it lesser if possible".
"PLEASEEEE!!! PAPA, PLEASEEEE", marri whined, gripping onto satoru's black shirt as she started pulling it and stretching the sleeves out.
"marri, we shouldn't butt into other people's relationships. do you know if that's what megumi wants?", satoru asked.
"he does! he just doesn't know it yet. you know he's kinda awkward", marri stated.
"true, but that doesn't make it right either. things will sort out on its own".
marri sighed.
"okay...fine".
"that's my princess", satoru smiled, kissing the top of marri's forehead.

marri did not listen to her father.
she knew that megumi's father resided at the zenin household, as she remembered her father telling her so when he was busy spilling all the tea.
to which, she threatened ijichi that if he didn't take her to the zenin household, she'd tell satoru that he had lost her that one time at the horse racing stadium.

"are you sure you don't want me to come with you?", ijichi asked, dropping the girl off as she nodded.
"mhm! and don't tell papa either. if he calls, just tell him that I'm at the carnival with you and it's really loud. thank you, and bye bye!", marri waved as she bypassed the front of the house, making ijichi confused.
the man sighed as he decided that he would park a block away and just wait to see what happens, just in case.
marri huffed as she decided to use a big oak tree nearby to climb over the walls, as she knew that if she asked, they would not allow her to walk in through the front door.
hence why the little girl was now dangling on a tree branch, jumping onto the roof of the walls as it was pretty low — though not compared to her.
"OI! WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE?!", one of the maids shouted, to which marri had bravely skipped across the roofs as she found another tree inside the zenin property and hopped on, causing a rustling in the leaves.
"where did she go?!"
"what are you doing? master naobito is waiting! hurry", another maid ushered, to which marri had sighed a breath of relief once she saw the two women leave.
marri then climbed down from the tree as she tiptoed around the zenin house, nearly screaming as she felt a hand grip onto her shoulder.
"the hell are you doing here? are you a stalker or something?"
"I know you. you're fu...fush...fish tōji!", marri exclaimed, immediately covering her mouth as she heard murmuring.
tōji then clicked his tongue as he carried the girl by the collar of her shirt, taking her back to his room without anyone noticing as he assumed that she didn't want to be discovered.

"what the hell are you doing here, and who the fuck are you?", tōji interrogated.
"I'm goomi's friend".
"goomi? who the fuc—"
"your son, megumi!", marri cheerfully answered, to which the man's brows had furrowed.
"I don't know who you are but leave before I end you and throw your body out to feed the crows".
"so anyways, I brought his note for you", marri smiled, taking out a sheet of paper from her pocket.
tōji glared at the girl as he snatched it, skimming over the note.
"do you take me as a fool? you really think that I'd fall for this?"
"I was just ex..espresso what goomi felt", marri stated.
"first of all, it's expressing, not espresso. second of all, I doubt he wants to hug me and kiss my forehead. and third of all, get out or I'll seriously murder you", tōji threatened.
"first of all, I'm four. second of all, how do you know when you haven't even ask him? and third of all, I'd love to leave but I won't until you promise me that you'll give this relationship a chance!"
"what relationship?! there's no—"
"meet me at the café beside jujutsu high two days from now at 4:00 p.m", marri interrupted.
"if you don't show up then I'll come back again, and again, and again, and again", marri warned.
"you think you can just comman—"
before tōji could even finish his sentence, marri had slipped out of his room, off to who knows where as her words lingered in his mind, annoying him to no ends.
"god, I fucking hate kids", tōji muttered as he fell onto his back, regretting not killing the little girl the first time he saw her.

Immovable Mage
What do you call a mage incapable of casting spells? In this story, we usually call him Terry. Faced with expulsion, Terry is blessed with the unexpected kindness of others. Terry loses his spot in the Academy but in exchange, he finds a home with a family. Terry starts to train as a pure mana cultivator but never stops looking for his own path as a mage – day after day, season after season, always searching for compatible spellwork… Until finally, Terry’s perseverance earns him a single spell – the only spell he will ever be able to cast. Disclaimers: Chapter Frequency: I aim for one chapter a week. Chapter Length: I try to keep chapters between 3000 and 6000 words. Binge Preference: I plan for 30 chapters per arc. If you want to binge a complete arc, then that is the number to wait for. I will also add a line to chapters indicating the beginning and end of an arc. Advanced Access: I have created a patreon page with early access to four chapters for patrons. What to Expect: Progression fantasy with a western fantasy setting and with eastern fantasy elements. A main character that is forced to explore a very narrow path of magic due to a permanent condition. A main character that is a part of a larger cast. A main character that is growing but won't become the strongest around anytime soon. A story following a single main character but with introduction or theme setting scenes without the main character. What Not to Expect: Edgy grimdark characters – I will never write a sexual violence scene or gory descriptions of torture. I hate reading it and I would hate writing it even more. Romance – romantic relationships will never be the focus of the story and only appear in the background. The main character is preoccupied with other stuff. Other forms of relationships (family, friends, companions) play a bigger role. Cover: The cover art was commisioned from redditor Linh-Nguyen87. The font is alita brush by Inovatype Typefoundry. Overview: 001–030 Arc 1, Cultivating Perseverance: complete. 031–060 Arc 2, Undying Defiance: complete. 061–090 Arc 3, Unyielding Fury: scheduled for publishing. 091–120 Arc 4, Savage Hope: scheduled for publishing. 121–150 Arc 5, Self-Made Fate: first draft in progress. 151–180 Arc 6, Heretic Style: sketching in progress.
