{Vivian's POV}

"The last time we were here, it ended up with me half naked while explaining myself to my mates father" Alejandro whispers with a snort as I laughed at his awkwardness.

We walked into the backyard of the alpha kings castle seeing both John's and Phoebe's family sitting together at a long table seated in the middle of the large garden. Alejandro's hand tightens around mine as I just realized that he was holding my hand the whole time we were walking in front of both my family behind me and both our mate's family in front of us.

"You can let go of my mate now" John says quickly grabbing my hand with a forced smile as Alejandro rolls his eyes before pulling Phoebe into his arms.

"Family, you know my mate and her family from the other night" John announces at the table his family was sitting on as I smiled nervously.

"Of course! Vivian sweetie, come sit! Mama Tran and your handsome baby boy come enjoy the wonderful food our chef has cooked for us this fine evening" Johns mother says quickly standing up from her seat at the head of the long table gesturing us to sit down next to her family already seated.

"Hi! As you already know, I'm the little dorks big sister Jezzabelle" Johns sister says turning happily towards me as I sat across from her where John sat me next to him.

"This is my lovely but sometimes annoying husband and mate, Kaden" She continues while nudging the alpha king to acknowledge me as he smiles with a nod before going back to eating.

"Sorry, he's a pig when it comes to his food" The Luna of our kingdom mutters with a wink as her mate rolls his eyes.

"And I'm the sister in law to both her and your mate, Pamela" A red head girl next to Johns sister says putting her hand out as I shook hers.

"This is my also annoying but sometimes can be kind mate, Jason. Also known as the over protective brother" She adds on while pulling her mates arm as he rolls his eyes before smiling back at me with a nod.

"In my opinion, your lucky you didn't get the overprotective brother" A voice grumbles as I turned to the alpha king making a sour expression before a slammed hand went down on the table making us all turn to Johns older brother now glaring at the alpha king.

"You always got something smart to say, don't you asshole?" Jason asks trying to get up only to have his mate and another man beside him pull him back into his chair.

"Enough with the fighting. It's literally been 8 years since you two started this and it's gotten old at this point" The man who pulled down Jason says while rolling his eyes before turning to me with a smile.

"Nice to meet you Vivian, the names Sam. I'm Kadens cousin and mainly the only male wolf at the castle who doesn't like to fight over the littlest things" He says putting his hand out as I shook while laughing at his words.

"Don't mind my older brother and brother in law. They fight like there's no tomorrow" John whispers into my ear before linking our hands together under the table making my face heat up like a tomato.

Although we've been together for almost a year now, I still manage to blush at every little cute gesture he does.

"My brother tells me that you are the overprotective brother that he was trying so hard to impress" Jason says now turning his attention towards my older brother sitting on the opposite side of John beside me.

"That didn't really work out then since I still don't like him but I'm willing to tolerate him on the sake of my sisters happiness" Damian replies as I elbowed him with a forced smile making the whole table laugh.

"Totally feel that" Jason says putting his hand across the table to high five my brother making both me and Johns older sister roll our eyes in unison.

"Besides our family getting to know each other today, I would also like to appreciate the fact that now all 3 of my babies have found not only their mates but also the love of their lives. Nothing makes me more happier than to see all of my children happily in love with their true soul mates at last" Johns mother announces while standing from her chair with a genuine look of awe on her face.

"Vivian and the Tran family, the royal family will love nothing more than to welcome you to our family with open arms. You are all welcome to stay here or the castle for however long you want. We have a bajillion empty rooms anyways. You two may not be anywhere close to thinking of marriage yet but Vivian, you already are like a daughter to me" She continues while blowing a kiss as I smiled shyly seeing the rest of Johns family smiling at me.

"I've always wanted a sister. And now I have two" Johns older sister Jezzabelle says gesturing to me and Pamela beside her.

"To the Tran and Johnson family!" Sam shouts now standing up with a glass of champagne in his hand as everyone puts their glasses up to cheer along with him.

"I think my family might love you more than me now" John whispers into my ear as everyone fell into their own little conversations with each other on the table.

"I'm sorry, it was bound to happen" I reply with a teasing smirk as he laughs while leaning towards me to pull a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"It's okay, just as long as they know they will never love you more than me" He whispers into my ear before kissing my cheek as my face turned redder than before.

"John stop hogging the young lady and feed her!" A voice shouts from the other side of the table as I realized Johns dad was gesturing him to scoop me some of the food from the large bowls and trays in front of us.

"What would my lovely mate like to eat?" John asks pulling away while rolling his eyes before smiling down at me.

"The turkey looks delicious. And some of the ham and the pasta over there" I say excitedly staring at all the delicious food in front of us.
