"Mommy, Mommy! Guess what I made today in kinder garden" Devon jumped excitedly, wanting for his mother to see his drawing.
My four year old son said to me.
He really look so much like his father. He had his dark green eyes and chocolate brown hair.
After our Separation about five years ago, I've managed on my own, I worked hard for my son. Even though my sister tried to help, I told her not to because I don't want to be a burden.
I worked at a Five Star restaurant called 'PALACÈ .
I've never worked before because Sebastian never wanted me to. I always try my best into convincing to let me work but, he was so overprotective of me.
'Just admit that you miss him already'
Shut up conscience or I'll...urgh! How I really want to hurt you right now.
I took the papers from my son, my eyes widen at the realization.
It was a drawing of me , Devon , and His Father.
For a four year old he has great writing skills, which he inherited from my father.
I have never taken my sons right to know about his father. He deserved to know. Growing up, I was taught to be fair. I would never do anything to hurt my son in the future.
I have told Sebastian about him.
The first time I told him we had a son, he denied it. He never wanted anything to do with my son or I.
He was a bastard son of the many men I slept with. I have never cheated on him once.
I just got tired of him shaming me and calling me names, I got used to it.
It was two years ago that I decided to leave him alone, and cut him off for good. After all, he cheated during our marriage.

"I love them baby!" I kissed his forehead .
I picked him up from the ground and carried him to the couch.
"Now tell me honey... what else did you learn today"
"I learn to count using my fingers mommy" the smile that always keeps me going.
"Wow baby. I am so proud of you" I hugged him tightly.
"Mommy?" He gave me a questioning look.
"Yes, baby?"
"Is daddy coming to take us home today?" seeing him still have hope for his father, broke a million pieces in my heart. A question I couldn't answer, one I had to lie to my son and mask the true reasons why his father can't. I had to protect his feelings.
"You know sweetheart... Your dad told me not to tell you, but I will tell you anyways, okay?"
"yes mommy" he cheered
"Daddy is on a secret mission around the world. He told me to tell you that he has a special mission specifically for you." He gave me a look of suspense.
"What mommy?" He urged me to continue.
"He said, can you watch over your momma for him until he gets done with his secret mission? It's all he asks of you. Do you think you can do that?"
"Yes mommy. I will do that for him. I will protect mommy forever!" He loooked at me with pride in his eyes. I hugged him, wanting to cry.
"It's okay mommy, don't cry. I will always protect you" That made me wan to cry even more.
I am lying to him. It hurt me more to see him getting all his hopes up not knowing. He is so innocent.
If only he knew....

Leslie's Poems
This is a continuous collection of poems that I've written in chronological order, starting with the oldest and ending with the newest. This will be updated periodically and may have mass updates. More often than not, each poem either will be written in free verse or with zero adherence to traditional poem structure. Some poems may imply situations and actions that can be triggering or annoying, especially the earlier poems. I recommend skipping most of the ones from 2018-2019, or just not reading this at all if you feel it may hurt you. Please enjoy and read at your own discretion.

Re:Hammer - The Hammering
Sequel to the sort of liked Re:Hammer. Set in 40k universe, and generally on course. Personal changes are detailed in the Prologue because it's quite a bit. It's not really ended nor is it an attrocity like End Times, but I've got a few things to change. To note: Druchii arc (If this means nothing to you, go read Re:Hammer first) has been learned from and will be avoided. This is not to say there won't be any sex, but we will certainly try to keep it less crazy. Feedback is, as always, appreciated and worked with.
