Hayley's POV:

A few days later I walk into the foyer of the compound with Hope. I spot four corpses scattered around the ground. I whip Hope around so she can't see the mess and I give her to Rebekah.

"Go with Auntie Bex for a little bit." I say

"But mom-" She begins

She's exhausted and I don't blame her. I've been trying to keep her out of the house, away from the chaos that Lorelei is creating.

Rebekah sees the expression on my face and turns to her niece.

"We can go shopping!" Rebekah tells her

"Awesome! Bye Mom!" She says and gives me a hug

Then the two walk off.

I step through the gate to spot Lorelei.

"Lorelei!" I call out

She's draining another body.

I gesture to the mess.

"What the hell? I can't have my daughter seeing this!" I snap angrily

"That doesn't sound like my problem." She says

"What if Hope had seen this?"

She rolls her eyes and the man she was feeding on falls to the ground dead.

I take my phone out and she speeds over and grabs my wrist.

"I don't think so." She says eyes glowing

I pry her arm off me and shove her out of the way.

Before I can react she slams me into the wall. I headbutt her and she yells and stumbles back, holding her nose. I speed behind her and snap her neck. I catch her, place her on the ground and pick up my phone up off the floor where it had fallen.

I click the contact and put the phone to my ear.

"Klaus we have a problem."

Lorelei's POV:

When I open my eyes, I'm in my bedroom. Nik is leaning on the doorway.

"Good. You're up." He says and walks over to me

I rub my neck. I look outside and see that it's nighttime.

How long was I out?

"What do you want?" I growl

He sits in front of me on the bed.

"I told you I wouldn't step in unless necessary. You killed 5 people and left them for my daughter to find and that's a problem." He says

I let out a groan.

I'm really not in the mood for a lecture.

I move the blankets off me, stand and head for the doorway.

But I can't leave.

There's an invisible wall keeping me in.

Barrier spell.

Damn it Freya!

"You're staying in here so you can either come sit down willingly or I'll make you." Nik says

"You can't just lock me up whenever you feel like it Nik!" I snap

"I can and I will when you are being careless and dangerous." He says

"We're all dangerous! A family of hybrids and Original vampires! Your daughter will be the most dangerous out of anyone here! How about you pay more attention to her and less about me?" I hiss

He stands up suddenly and walks over to me.

"You are the one dropping bodies everywhere. I'm not worried about my daughter I'm worried about you. Hope has a lot of power yes but I'm not worried about her future as much as I am about yours. Now sit down."

I don't move.

He's pissed off, sure but I don't care.

I don't want to be in here.

"Come sit down." He says looking into my eyes, compelling me

I move and sit down.

He sits down in front of me and takes a few deep breaths.

Klaus's POV:

"I understand why you turned off your emotions but as of now you are a threat to yourself and this family and I will have none of it. Until you turn it back on you will not leave this room."

"No!" She argues

She's angry. Maybe if I push harder...

"Oh it's even worse than that love. You won't feel the sun on your face or talk to those you love or hear the jazz music outside. The room will be sound proof. You can't hear anything in or out." I say

"You'll regret this." She says her voice cold

I get up and walk away as she screams behind me. The door shuts.

Silence.

I hate that it had to come to this but she left me no choice.
