《Klaus's Pet》Chapter 14

Klaus's POV:
I guide a blindfolded Lorelei outside to the balcony and sit her in a chair I had brought out along with the surprise.
"Okay. Take off your blindfold."
She slides it off her head to find a canvas and a paint pallet full of colors in front of her. I have one on my side as well.
"We're gonna paint together?" She asks
I smile at her.
"You know I suck." She says
"As long as you don't impale yourself in the hand with the paintbrush you'll do just fine." I say
She rolls her eyes.
"I can't believe Hayley told you about that."
She knows full well that the Little Wolf would be all too eager to share that kind of information.
"Oh just wait until we get to fight training love." I say with a smile
Another eye roll.
I grab a few brushes and walk back over.
"What should I paint?" She asks
"Whatever you'd like. Whatever you can see." I say
"So not a sun with a big smiley face?" She asks and bats her eyelashes
I roll my eyes.
"That's not what I meant and you know it."
We get to work painting. I outline the buildings on the street as she gets to work painting the sky.
I'd expect nothing less.
Regardless of where we are, I can always find her staring up at the sun or the stars.
It's one of the reasons I'd grown so fond of her when we'd first met.
She takes in the beauty around her. It could be as simple as a rose or as as complex as a butterfly.
We paint for a long while and I watch as she steps back, wiping her forehead with the back of her hand and stares at her artwork, a mix of emotions on her face.

"What do you think?" She asks
I stand and move next to her.
She's painted a low glow of the sun beneath puffy white clouds. I smile.
"It's beautiful." I say
"Yeah for a kindergartner." She says with a laugh
"You're doing it again love." I say
"What?"
"Selling yourself short."
She bites her lip nervously and I step towards her, scanning her eyes.
"Do it again and I just might have to spank you. This is your last warning." I say
"Okay. I'm sorry." She says
I kiss her on the forehead.
She moves over and looks at mine.
I painted the buildings and streets of the city.
She stares in awe. She opens her mouth to say something then looks at me and closes it.
"We are totally hanging this above the bed." She says
Then before I can say anything she takes off to find supplies.
She returns with a large black picture frame and preps it, removing the back piece and cleaning the glass. Then she gently places the glass in and turns to me expectantly. I remind her that the paint had to dry first and she gives me a pouty look.
"We'll stick it in the bedroom to dry. I'm sure we can find something to entertain us while we wait." I say pointedly
I start moving the canvases to the bedroom and close the window.
When I turn around, she's naked from head to toe. I chuckle and speed over and toss her onto the bed.
I grab the vibrator and lube as she gets into position, doggy style.
I ease into her and click the vibrator on. The combination of sensations doesn't take long to drive her crazy and a few minutes later she's begging to cum. I let her. Then I drop the vibrator and guide her to bend down more and thrust deep and slow. She moans loudly.

"Mm such a good pet, aren't you?" I say
Another moan.
"Yes Master."
I run my nails down her back and she shivers and lets out a cry of glee. I chuckle.
I pick up the pace and finish in her.
I pull out and smack her ass.
We hop in the shower together and make out then check the paintings.
Dry.
I help her lay out the painting into the frame and we seal it up. Then she stands on the bed, still naked and points to the perfect place to put it.
I grab a hanger strip and hang the painting. She stands back, observing.
"Perfect."

A darkness that would later make him known as the Lord of Night. Note to Reader: I understand this book is not for everyone, if there is a writer that can write to please everyone, I have never heard of them. The MC can be frustrating in his decisions as he learns to grow and accept what and who he is. I believe this reality is unavoidable. That being said, if you feel the need to give a review, please do so, just know that I will report you if all that review seems to do is blab toxic language and insult my literary choices without giving constructive advice or alternatives. That's not just a me policy, that's a policy of this website. I'm not writing this note because I'm a writer who does not acknowledge that there are faults in my work. I know there are. That's what happens when it hasn't been professionally edited by someone other than the author. I'm saying this because I'm sick of reading 1 star or 0.5 star rated reviews that seem to do nothing but hate on the book because they don't like the story. No comments on grammar, ways to improve or suggestions for better story arcs. Just plain hate. It's not on, and I frankly shouldn't have to write this note, but needed to get it off my chest. In saying all that, thank you to those who do leave reviews that don't fall into the above category. Your appreciation of my work, or alternatively, your willingness to give advice for improvement, is appreciated.

Almost a Good Person
A memory, a memory of a boy who wanted more than pain, of a girl who wanted more than death, and an Isle that should not exist. The Isle of Red is a small, unassuming, quiet place. It is just large enough for a college, a small town, and maybe even a few more unusual sorts of places. Of course, the townsfolk practically know each other as family. Flush-faced regulars can be found toasting just about anything in the Briar's Brew, then, a few streets away, the same haggle of older women stationed themselves on their perch as they did every day from one of the few balconies in Central Square. They fuss away now, spouting the usual gossip as they watch us all from on high. Then there is the College here on the Isle of Red. My college. It has been often described as an unusual place by a good deal of people on the mainland. If they only would visit -why I am sure they'll soon have a change of heart, they may even come to find it a quaint sort of place, odd but in the same way a tattered old quilt can be both odd looking and warm, and especially soft. We teach mostly the same sort of disciplines here, with fantastic and absolutely normal professors.I must conclude that I am quite smitten with myself. The stage is set with a level of perfection that would have astonished me in my youth. They are coming. Derek will follow her. He knows the weight of reality too intimately, but she will be his true north if only for a short time. A beacon in the storm to show him the stunning pastels and brightness the sun may yet refract through his thinner, sharper pieces. Theoline will lead as she always has- well not always, not yet. She holds onto questions feverishly tight, that one. Lights them up inside like a new type of fuel without the slightest worry of being burned. She knows... There is but a certain few who can look at a map and find nothing where I stand but the Atlantic Ocean. And still, there is earth beneath me, a noisy pub down the road from me, and several people clucking conspiratorially on a balcony above me. She knows... that the Isle of Red doesn't belong here. Neither, technically, do I. (Hello!
