I fly under the bed, skidding so bad on the polished wood floors that I almost skid out the other side, I catch myself, and cower into the furthest corner from the end of the bed... My hackles raised, as my ears flatten against my head, and I wrap my tail around my dark brown paws... My coal black eyes huge with fear.

" Ah well... I should've known that was going to happen... What with my past and all." Osiris chuckles out loud, talking to himself, as I see him approach the end of the bed, and then suddenly, a pair of human legs no longer stand there, instead, scaly black legs stand in their place.

His giant head, which is ink black and covered in beautiful, shiny scales, appears a moment later, and I see his ink black, forked tongue slip out from his lips... Sliding around his jaws, before he narrows his sky blue eyes at me, and begins sliding under the bed.

With a terrified yak, I scamper out from under the bed, my tail tucked between my trembling hind legs, and race for the open doors. Before I can make it within even a of the damned doors, a large, scaly, dangerously clawed hand snakes around me, and I'm pulled backwards.

Without meaning too, I shift back into human form, my very NAKED human form might I add, and burst into tears. Unable to stop them from coming down like waterfalls, as I try to wipe them away, but end up giving up after awhile, and just slump over weakly.

" Shhh... I promise I won't hurt you Cub... I know Nikolai must've told you what I did to Jazz... But that was decades and decades ago! I know what I did was wrong, and I feel like shit because of it... But I've changed! I'll even prove it to you!" Osiris suddenly says, back in human form, as I stop my violent sobs and gasps from crying, and turn my head back to look up at him.

" Pr-p-prove it..." I sniffle out softly, my eyes huge, as he stands up, pulling me into his arms in the process, sets me down on the bed gently, before he quickly dresses himself in what he was wearing, and then disappears from the room.

In the short period of time that he is absent, I change back, crawl to the head of the bed, and snuggle into the many, many, pillows that litter the bed. Osiris returns as soon as I get comfortable, but this time, he isn't alone... Trailing close behind him are three more Dragon-Shifters...

One, who is around five foot or so, has light blonde hair, creamy pale skin, and big, doe brown eyes, he is holding a little girl on his hip, who seems to be around five or six, with curly black hair pulled up in adorable pigtails, the same pale skin as the two men, and baby blue eyes that remind me so much of Alec's, and finally, the last member of the group, is a little boy, who seems to be around ten or so, with light blonde hair, deep golden eyes with a small hint of brown in them, and pale skin, who walks beside Osiris with his hand clenching the hem of the Dragon's shirt.

" This is my family... My Mate, Averi, our daughter Ava who is six, and our son Sage... Who is twelve." Osiris explains, making my eyes drop to my hands with guilt, as I wipe away my remaining tears, and then look up at him.

Osiris sits at the end of the bed, his lips curved into a smile, and, in an instant, I throw myself into his arms... Begging for him to forgive me, as tears spill down my cheeks all over again, and I squeeze him as hard as I can.

" Hush now... It's alright! I forgive you... Now, lets get Joshua in here so he can clear you... I do need to take you home soon." He chuckles softly, rubbing my back, as I pull back with a series of sniffles, and slowly nod my head.

A little while later, a dark brunette male with soft blue eyes walks in, and does a quick exam before he says something to Osrius and then leaves. Osiris turns to me with a small frown, and I know bad news is on the way.

" You have to stay for a little longer Pup... Joshua said you still have a fever and we need to wait for that to go down before we can travel again." He explains, his eyes full of sorrow, as I look down at my hands, biting at my bottom lip before I break into sobs again, and just give a nod.

" That's okay... Uhm... Can I... Can I have some time alone?" I whisper, my eyes squeezed shut, as I fight back my tears, and try to focus on calming down. Osiris gives my hair a ruffle, before he stands up, and leaves the room... Leaving me to my own thoughts for a little while.

It seems like I've been here forever, but really, it has only been a few hours... I heave another small sigh, my eyes staying glued to the floor, as I pace relentlessly across the room, and think of my Mate and my brother. I suddenly remember my link with Niko, and instantly open it.

' N-Niko?' My voice shakes as I speak.

' RAVYN?! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!' Oh thank Goddess... He hasn't gone on a rampage to murder everyone just yet!

' I was... I followed you into the woods, and then... And then I was chased down by Xavier... He... H-he tried to kill me! But then I was saved... I'm okay now.' I respond softly, not wanting to alarm him, as I stop my wild pacing, and curl up on the floor in a little ball.

' Tell me where you are Ravyn! Now!' He snarls back, seeming to completely ignore the part where I was saved, as I sniffle softly, pull a blanket off the bed, and throw it over me.

' I... I can't Nicky... I'm sorry! All you need to know is that I'm safe, I'm okay, and I will be home in a few days... I'm sorry Niko...'

' Don't you dare Ravyn James!'

' I love you...'

' RAVY---' Before he can finish screaming at me, I shut off our link, and, because my heart feels like it is about to burst from being separated from my twin and family, I allow the tears to fall down my cheeks... Before I finally allow myself to fall back asleep... I hope I get over this fever soon... I miss them...
