《His Innocent Fox... BoyXBoy》Chapter Twenty-Three

finally arrive back home, the entire rest of the School day, Robyn and I had refused to leave each others side, and I feel a whole lot safer now that I'm within the twelve foot stone walls that surround the Manor. Niko leads me into the Manor, his brothers, and my own brother, on our heels, and, as soon as everyone is inside, the doors are shut and locked, every single curtain, which are black-out curtains, is drawn to shut out any light, and everyone, yawning and stretching, disappear upstairs... No doubt going to sleep.
I give my own yawn, stumbling and tripping over my heavy feet, as Niko leads me upstairs, and into the Corridor. He pauses by the first set of doors, swings them open quietly, and walks in. I look 'round the corner, my eyes drooping with exhaustion, and see him plant a soft kiss on Alec's forehead.
This action continues with each brother, Niko even going to the East Wing for the other half of the rowdy bunch, until finally, each brother is soundly asleep, and Niko is leading me and Robyn towards his Study.
" I'm... I'm sleepy..." I yawn, rubbing at my heavy eyes with my fists, as I stumble into the beautiful Study, and stand by the closed doors... Rocking slightly from how weak I am from being fatigued.
" Lay down Angel..." Niko responds softly, taking a seat in his desk chair, as I share a look with Robyn, who looks just as tired as I feel, and stumble over to the long sofa by the desk. I throw myself down instantly, my eyes drooping and heavy, Robyn laying down beside me, and begin to slowly nod off.
Right before I slip away, I feel the most amazing thing in the world... Robyn's arms lock around my waist, pulling me closer to him, and I feel his warm breath against my neck...
" I... Love you... Nee-Chan." I mumble, my words drawn out and slurred, as I finally allow myself to slip away into the warm embrace of darkness...
With a small groan, I stretch out my arms, and scrunch my nose up. I hear an identical groan sound from behind me, and, with a great effort to peel my eyes open, I roll over. I come nose-to-nose, literally, with my mirror image, and a smile, rare but actually genuine for once, graces my lips.

" Mmm... Good Morning..." I moan out softly, throwing my arm gently across his neck, digging my fingers into his thick hair, as he yawns as well, and opens his eyes. He smiles at me sleepily, leaning forward, and pressing his lips against mine, before he pulls back, stretches with a satisfied groan, and pulls himself up.
" Morning Otouto..." He purrs, rubbing the sleep from his eyes, before he throws his legs over the edge of the bed, which I have no idea we ended up in, and stands up. I follow suit, gently grabbing ahold of his fluffy tail and giving it a soft tug, before I let out a little yak, and stumble across the room, and into the Loo.
I look in the mirror as I pass, and oh Goddess... My hair is a hot mess and sticking out in every which way, my School Uniform is wrinkled, and I look like I just got hit by a bloody bus! I notice something alarming, as I trail my eyes down to my pale neck... A dainty black Collar, with a little tag that says , and a little silver bell sits there snuggly... Making my mouth fall open in silent shock.
" That little... Wanker!" I snarl, Niko and his devilish smirk flashing across my mind, as I loop my fingers around the blasted thing, and give a sharp tug. The damned thing doesn't even budge! It just stays the same!
" What?! What's the matter Ravyn?!" Instantly, hearing my growls and snarls of anger, Robyn skids into the Loo, and, all I hear, is a bell jingling softly. I look to his neck, and see a matching Collar on his neck... Well... At least we still look the same! That makes me feel much, much better... But I'm still pissed by the fact that I have a Collar on! Dominants put these Collars on their Subs so other Doms know to stay away...
Not only that, but, when the Dominant feels his Sub is ready, they will Mark their Sub... Claiming them, and warding off any pesky Doms who don't care about a Sub wearing Collars... Robyn and myself read all about this in a Book he found years back... For twelve-year-olds, we were quite brilliant for our age... We've always been very brilliant... Excelling way above what a child our age would...

We have always been lovers of Books, we remember things easily, I'm pretty sure I read what we have somewhere long ago... Um... Oh! Photographic Memory! That's what we have! Anyways... Back to the whole Collar thing... It just... It is practically a on you! You belong to Dom, and that Dom only...
" They... Collared us?..." Robyn whispers out, his eyes locking on my Collar, as I give a shaky nod, and let out a tiny little whimper. Instantly, Robyn rushes forward, reaches his hands 'round my neck, and begins fumbling with the buckle that keeps the Collar secure.
I do the same thing to him, my eyes narrowed in deep concentration, and, after what feels like decades, the buckle finally gives, and the Collar slides from his neck... Heart beats later, my Collar pops off as well, and drops to the floor between our feet.
" I can't believe they did that to us!" Robyn growls, his eyes slipping from that pretty blue to inky black, showing his Fox is ready to take over, as I nod my agreements, and lean my head against his shoulder. We stand like this for a little while, just calming down, when suddenly, I hear the sound of a key being inserted into a lock, and I back away with my ears pricked, my tail lashing behind me, my head lowered, and my eyes as wide as sauce pans.
' What's the matter?" Robyn asks through our link, the sudden sound of his voice causing me to jump a bit, as I race forward, desperately wanting to find a place to hide before whoever is coming, Niko I assume, can get in. Because I'm so damn clumsy, I slip before I can even make it to the door, and fall to my knees.
I involuntarily shift into my Fox, pawing around wildly at the clothing that covers me, until I finally break through the cotton fabric, and scramble out of the pile. Right as I steady myself on my paws, the bedroom doors swing open almost silently, and, to my thankful relief, teeth grasp my scruff tightly, and I am pulled off the floor. Thank Nix I am now a Kit! I'm so much easier to lug around when I'm so tiny! It's a blessing and a curse sad to say...
" Cub? Cub where are you?" I hear Niko call to me, his gentle voice making me almost to go to him, as I hear his footsteps going all over the room, before they halt, and instantly begin heading to the Loo. Without a moments hesitstion, Robyn jumps up onto the sink counter, me swinging limply, but comfortably, in his jaws, and squeezes himself through the open window. Look like Niko forgot to close it the time I escaped through here!
The freezing Winter air bites at me like a mosquito that just won't stop, and I give a small whine to alert Robyn that I'm freezing to death. My soft Kit fur can't even keep me warm at all, because, at the age of what my Fox is now, which is around three months old, I would be in the Den, only venturing out when my Mother was with me to look for danger...
My fur may be fluffy, but it doesn't really keep me warm like an Adult Fox's would... And, with the fact that it reached Winter, my own Winter pelt hasn't grown in yet, and it probably never will...
' Shhh... I know you're cold Angel... I will find somewhere to hide soon.' Robyn assures me, quickening his pace instantly, as he finds a spot on the roof where he can easily get down to the ground, and quickly scales it. I get a bit jostled on the way down, but I quickly regain my composure, and curl myself back up to hopefully trap some much needed warmth within my tiny frame.
I hear a roar, a very terrifying, pissed off roar, from above us, and I know Niko must've seen Robyn climb off the roof. Oh no... What if... What if he separates us again?! I can't... I can't be separated from my twin! No... Not again...
" Ravyn James!" Uh oh...

Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.

The Paradox Prophecy
Thousands of years ago, an alliance between the races of Idoras and the mighty dragons, saved the world from destruction. After many years of relative peace, a dark evil emerges. Aalya, a young girl from the small kingdom of Avani, meets the young Prince Alexandar. When chaos reigns on their peaceful home, Aalya and her friends gear up for an adventure that could very well determine the fate of all life in Idoras. I haven't completely fleshed out the prophecy yet but I wanted to include it because it is an important part of the story. I have decided it would be better to spend some time figuring out the world I am creating and work out all the kinks in the story. I have done a lot of editing in the first seven chapters already. For now, updating will be scarce. I will post all of part one once I am happy with what I have written. I will leave what I have up, but please let me know what you think. I do not own the image I used for the cover.
