《His Innocent Fox... BoyXBoy》Chapter Twenty

numbly after Jazz, my legs feeling like lead, I look down at the mahogany carpet, my eyes glassy and clouded with fear and uncertainty, and begin to think of a million different things that could happen to me at this School.
While deep in thought, I don't realize Jazz had come to a halt, until I run straight into him, and fall back on my bum with a small thud. I shake my head slightly, and look up... Only to see Jazz lurch forward, his hazel eyes wide, and his Teddy fly out of his hands... Landing on the floor a few feet ahead of him.
" YOU... LITTLE BITCH!" Instantly, before I have any time to pick myself up off the floor, Jazz rounds on me, his eyes no longer that beautiful hazel color, but instead a deep crimson, and full of rage, as he grabs me by the throat, and pulls me up.
I gasp with fear, my eyes huge, as he pulls me completely off the floor, and slams me against the wall... His fangs out, and hatred clear in his eyes.
" THAT WAS... BUNNY... YOU STUPID... BRAT!" He snarls at me, slamming me into the wall repeatedly, until I feel dizzy and dazed, and blood, hot and thick, runs down the back of my head. I can only gasp and wheeze this pitiful noise that sounds like a whimper, as he just goes on, and on, and on, and continues to throw insult after insult at me.
" JAZZ!" Thankfully, much to my relief, a voice calls to the very enraged boy from down the Corridor, and we both turn our heads. Jaxx and Jemm are advancing on us, Jaxx with a look of disbelief mixed with anger on his face, and Jemm with a sinister smirk on his face, make it to us in seconds, and Jaxx, with a grunt of effort, manages to pull Jazz off me.
" Stop it!" He snarls.
Jazz, still pissed off, just gives an agitated snort, crosses his bandaged arms over his chest, flashes a sneer at me, his upper lip curled to reveal sharp, ivory fangs, as Jemm wraps his arms around Jazz's shoulders, pressing his lips gently to the boy's temple, and tugs him backwards until Jemm hits the far wall silently.

" Are you okay?" Jaxx asks me, kneeling down so we are about eye-level, as I lean against the wall while panting heavily, my eyes huge with fear and shock, still trying to understand what had just happened, and stare at him without actually STARING at him if you understand what I mean...
" Take Jazz down to the Limo, Jemm." Jaxx calls over his shoulder, his voice coming out in a growl, as Jazz gives a hiss of rage, and slashes his claws at me. Jemm, a smirk still on his face, throws Jazz over his shoulder, much to the boy's growls and snarls of dismay and rage, and disappears down the Corridor.
" Stay here... I'll go get Niko." Jaxx explains quickly, getting to his feet in one quick, graceful movement, before he turns on his heel, and disappears the way he had come.
I sit there, too shaken up to move, and just stare blankly at the opposite wall... My heart is pounding so loud, I swear the entire Continent can hear it, my neck hurts from where Jazz was strangling me, and my head, although the bleeding had long since stopped, still aches with pain.
" Thank you Jaxx... Go head to the car... I will be there shortly." I turn my head, not really comprehending the words Niko speaks, as he comes down the Corridor, his shoulders set and tense, and, when his deep brown eyes meet mine, he all but SPRINTS towards me.
He instantly gathers me up in his arms, a sigh of relief escaping his lips, as I shakily wrap my arms around his neck, still horridly trembling from the shock of Jazz lashing out like that, and press myself as close to him as I possibly can.
" Goddess... I shouldn't have let you out of my sight." Niko mumbles into my hair, his voice hard and gentle at the same time, as his arms squeeze my frail waist, and he begins walking towards the stairs. I keep my face nuzzled into his neck, and, only when Niko puts me on the floor, do I open my eyes and glance up at him through my thick lashes.

Niko quickly gets one of my new jackets, a pale pink with white and brown fur around the hood, around my frail body, buttoning it up swiftly, before adding my white beanie I got, pulling my hood up, and taking me in his arms once again.
" I'm so upset with Jazz right now... But I probably should have warned you about Bunny..." Niko sighs, instantly sparking my natural curiosity, as I wriggle a bit to get more comfortable in his arms, and look up at him.
" What's... What's with h-him and that be-bear?" I stutter out, my voice barely above a whisper, as I snap my gaze down to the ground, and watch as the dying grass is slowly swallowed up by thick, freezing snow... Somehow, in the short period of time from the Loo to now, snow had started to fall, thick and heavy, and is already almost covering the barren land around us.
" Bunny was a gift from Jemm the Night of their one hundredth Birthday... That is when their bond got impossibly stronger, and Jaxx gave him a little vile of his and Jemm's blood mixed together..."
" When he received Bunny, he put the little vile inside of him, and now, nearly four hundred years later, he has kept that bear close... He never lets anyone but Jemm or Jaxx touch Bunny." Niko explains quickly, falling into silence moments later, as he makes it to the Limo waiting just outside the Gates, and waits for Jeremy, the Limo Driver, to pull open the door before sliding in.
I notice, as I look around the eerily empty Limo, that Robyn is nowhere in sight... Only Niko, myself, obviously, the Triplets, and Ollie are in here... Everyone else is... Gone! I avoid looking towards Jazz, a small whine threatening to escape my lips, as Niko turns me around so I'm facing him, and tucks my head into his neck.
It seems like decades, but it was really mere minutes, before the Limo comes to a silent halt, and we are standing outside of the door... Niko placing me on the snowy ground as soon as he steps out. I wrap my tiny little hand around his index finger, keeping myself as close to him as possible, as he begins leading me towards the open doors of the Castle-sized Academy.
A dozen scents flood my sensitive glands, making my nose twitch wildly with each new scent that comes my way, as we walk through the doors, and begin to head down a long, elegant Corridor filled with so many Vampires, my face drains of any and all color, and my heart begins to pound with utter fear.
" Calm down Baby Boy... I can hear your heart pounding a mile a minute." Niko whispers to me gently, his eyes meeting mine for a brief moment, before he returns his attention ahead of him. He suddenly draws to a halt, tugging me gently into his side, and I follow his gaze instantly... But wish I had just kept my eyes glued to the marble floor.
Alayna, the Bitchy Slag from earlier, comes down the Corridor with three other girls, although extremely pretty, behind her, and instantly, I hide halfway behind Niko, but peek my head out so I can still see what is happening.
" Hey Baby!" She squeals, stopping right in front of him, her breasts hanging out, and her skirt far too short, as she smiles at Niko, and places a hand on his bicep. Without meaning to, I give an angry growl, and bare my sharpening teeth at the Slag.
" You brought it to School?! What the Hell is wrong with you?!" Alayna growls, her eyes flashing over to me, as I give a small growl in response, my eyes narrowed and flashing inky black, and flatten my ears. A crowd begins to form around us, and I can feel all of my anger that has been boiling inside of me begin to overflow... And it's all directed at the Slag in front of me...
