Lycus' pov
I couldn't sleep in my bed. I wanted to be by Vance. I knew he would protect me. I woke up my twin.
"I'm sleeping by Vance...I'm scared." I whispered softly.
"Wait don't leave me." River stirred awake. River always tried to be the bigger person. But it didn't always work.
We spent all night in Vance's bed, he left us when cps had arrived.
I slowly made my way downstairs after Vance left. River was still cuddled up with Eli sleeping peacefully.
"Mr haven, I need you to sign here, stating you are completely aware you are giving up your rights over Silas away, this may not be undone."
Vance sighed as he signed the paper, another worker was in the opposite room talking to Blue. I could see how bad Blue was trembling I'm sure he was beyond nervous and avoiding all and any eye contact.
I knew Vance hated giving Silas up, like a reminder of failure. But he causes to much damage.
I walk into the kitchen where Kalon and Declan were making breakfast.
"Oh lycus! I didn't see you there." Kalon exclaims as he almost crashed into me.
"Sorry." I mutter quietly under my breath.
"How do you guys think Vance is handling this?"
I spoke to the both of them. Declan turned to face us while holding the spatula. He sighed. "He's got one kid in the hospital, signing another one off for almost raping one of his for the second time."
"Wait second?" Kalon exclaims.
"Silas was here before. That's why everyone was shocked Vance took him in again..." I respond.
Kalons mouth formed an 'o' as Blue walked in. He stood in the door way fiddling with his fingers nerves with his head down.

Declan dropped the spatula and instantly picked Blue up off his feet, he held his butt up, his legs wrapped around Declan's waist and his arms around his neck.
"What's wrong?" Declan whispered.
"J-just scary."
"Shhh it's okay." Declan rubbed his back.
"T-they asked if I wanted to stay, then they asked so many questions. Am I in t-trouble?" His eyes became glossy, making my heart ache at the poor thing.
Kalon walked over and rubbed his back as well.
"You're not in trouble." Kalon reassured.
It was cute to see Kalon caring for the little one. Being in a new place after a past like his can be quite frightening.
I felt a large pair of arms wrap around mine. River rested his head on my shoulder. I tilted up to see him, he kissed my temple as the other boys comforted Blue.
The front door clicked shut as Vance walked in, Milo and Eli slept through the whole thing coming down the stairs.
Vance's deep brown eyes were slightly glossy. All my years of being here I've never seen him cry.
"What's wrong?" Eli speaks with worry, furrowing his eyebrows trying to read his mind. Milo instantly
hugged Vance.
"I just feel like I messed up a little? But I know it's to keep you guys safe." He smiled with a slight sniffle.
"How about some breakfast? Now that everyone's up." He smiled.
We agreed, it was a pretty silent meal till Blue decided to speak up.
"S-so K-Kalon has fire? What other things do you guys have?" Blue stutters nervous avoiding eye contact.
Vance chuckles. "We haven't told you, huh blue? Go ahead boys."
"Yea I have hot hands" Kalon speaks up, lifting his hands and showing them becoming bright red.

"I can control elements, water, fire-" River winks at Kalon with a smirk. "And air." He finishes.
"I-I am uh - an incubus..." Milo says while pushing the hair out of his face and glancing down.
Blue furrows his eyebrows in confusion.
"A sex demon." Declan bluntly cuts in loudly.
Milos cheeks grew slightly red as Blue had realization across his face.
"I'm a werewolf." Declan add, as he opened his mouth to reveal his fangs.
"I can read minds!" Eli exclaims eagerly.
"H-have you read mine?" Blue spoke nervously as Eli averts his eye contact.
"We're working on it, he's not supposed to without permission..." Vance cuts in with a sigh.
"I can also read minds and see the future, but I've figured out how to control it. It can be quite overwhelming." Vance adds.
Which leaves me.
"I'm a uh- neko, like you." I brush my hair out of the way revealing my chopped ears.
He gasps at the sight. "How did that happen?"
Did I have to tell him?
"Blue, that's a story for another time, hun." Vance cuts in.
"S-sorry! I shouldn't have spoke without permission!" Blue darts his gaze to his plate.
"No it's okay, I'll tell you another time." I give him a soft smile.
"Oh and Adorjan, he's a vampire." Kalon says for Adorjan.
Blue gives Kalon a smile.
"S-so I'm not alone here?" He says.
"That's what so great about being here." Declan says.
Vance's phone rings pulling our attention away.
"It's the hospital." He pushes away from the table, Kalons face falls as he quickly follows after Vance into his office.
We all sat quietly trying to catch any of the conversation, before they returned.
"He's coming home!" Kalon exclaims excitedly, as he comes back.
"Yes!" We all shout I'm excitement with him. Lots of noise echos in the kitchen, as we all share our excitement.
We all missed Adorjan.
"I'm gonna go freshen up, and head over to pick him up."
"You guys have chores to get done." We groan, Vance wanted our rooms all straightened up before Adorjan was back.
"May I please go?" Kalon asked softly as Vance sighed.
"Sure, my boy." He whispered.
"Quickly change, let's get going, the rest can handle the table."
Not long after the rest of them left, we began cleaning up the table.
Milo had disappeared, Declan was distracted so I decided on searching after him.
I knocked on the bathroom door.
"Y-yes?" His voice hiccuped.
"Milo? What's going on baby?" I hummed as I slowly opened the room. He shrugged through glossy eyes.
Milo didn't eat much, there shouldn't be much upsetting his stomach.
Unless it was something else.
