Kalons pov
The boys I saw earlier were sitting next to each other. The pink hair boy, had his head rested on the purple boy's shoulder,
Vance gestured at the chair next to him. As I sat down, I felt a large hand run through my hair.
My ends were pulled, forcing me to look up at the man who stood over me.
He was bigger than some of the other boys. He wore a black tank top and had tattoos going up his arms.
He wore chain necklaces. His jawline was sharp enough to cut me.
He looked young but older than me by at least three years.
"Well, hi trouble. You're the new meat?"
"I-I Uhm yes?"
He let out a chuckle at my shyness. He was highly intimidating. He made me nervous as his hand moved from my hair down my jaw.
"Declan. That's enough."
He smirked as Vance told him off.
"He's a cute one." He mumbled as he walked around the table. Milo, the boy I caught earlier, let out a huff as he watched Declan.
"Alright, so everyone's almost here...we're missing one."
"Fucking Adorjan," Declan smirked, shaking his head.
"I'm sorry! I'm here!" A tall blonde boy walked in, his hair barely brushing his shoulder.
He pulled it back as he made his way towards the table.
"Adorjan."
"Chill - Vance, I wasn't that late."
Vance gave him a look, almost like a warning,
"So Kalon, let's introduce you to my boys officially. Elliot, who you met earlier. River and Lycus, my mischievous boys. Then, Milo, he can be real quiet, but I promise he'll warm up to you."
He didn't bother to look up from his plate as Vance spoke about him. Till Declan grabbed his chin softly, forcing his head up. His eyes caught mine as his cheeks became red once more.

He looked over to Declan and observed him.
Almost looking up at him innocently.
It was strange but also adorable, the way they looked at each other.
He made a huffing noise before pulling his chin away.
"Declan and Adorjan, don't let them scare you. They act tough, but they all listen to me eventually." Vance said lowly. It felt like that phrase could mean a lot more than I thought.
"Uh- nice to meet you. I'm Kalon." I said nervously.
"I hope you like it here, Kalon," Adorjan said with a wink which made me blush, myself.
"Me too!" Elliot added.
"So we hold weekly meetings to talk over any issues you may have or things you need to discuss. You're welcome to join. But you may also sit this one out since it's your first night."
"After this one - you'll be required to go every. Singe. Time." Adorjan added, rolling his eyes.
"It's not that bad," Milo added quietly.
"Uhm - I mean, I still have the stuff to unpack...I can help clean up dinner, though." I rub the back of my neck.
"Just skip it," Adorjan told me quietly. Vance gave him a side-eye.
"Whatever you wanna do." Vance rested his hand on my back as he sat up to take his plate in the kitchen.
Milo and Elliot followed after Vance.
It was probably polite to take my dish into the kitchen too.
Turning the corner, my cheeks became red as I saw Vance holding Milo's hip with one hand and another on his neck, as he kissed his lips passionately. Elliot just watched them contently.
Like it wasn't some pedophilia going on in this kitchen.
Milo gasped when he caught sight of me.
Making him put his hands in his face of embarrassment.

"I'm sorry - I keep interrupting you, Milo." I chuckle lowly before turning away on my heels quickly.
"Kalon, wait!" Vance called out.
I rush up to my room. There's something weird going on in this house.
There was a soft knock on the door.
It was Elliot.
"Are you okay? I'm sure that weirded you out." He laughs lightly as he walks into the room and flops onto my bed.
"Uhm- I mean." I wanted to stay chill. Don't act weird. Is this normal?
"No, not really..."
Shit, I said that out loud?
"No." He chuckles softly.
"Wait, what?"
"Everyone's a little different...we all are. That's why we're here, right? Everyone needs someone to care about them and love them now and then. That's exactly what you'll get here." He shrugs before leaving the room.
I'm left to question my entire life and the choices I've made to be out here. I poked my head out, watching him walk down the hallway.
I groaned, throwing myself on my bed.
It was early, but I was over today. I drifted off into sleep, much faster than normal.
"Hey - come join us downstairs for some breakfast." I groaned as I rolled over my eyes locking with Adorjan.
The rest of the table was being set as I followed behind Adorjan.
"Kalon, how did you sleep?" Vance questions me.
I shrug. "Uhm - not bad."
He smiles - we all continue eating our breakfast. There's a loud slam on the table as Adorjan whispers "Fuck." Under his breath. Making Milo let out a squeak.
"Adorjan..." Vance mutters as he rushes to his side.
"You're okay - come here."
Vance helps him off his chair as he pushes his palms into his eyes.
He lets out a pained sound. Just enough to reveal his abnormal fangs, that send a shiver down my spine just as his eyes catch mine, they glow a gentle red.
"Adorjan...." Vance warns as he adverts Adorjans attention, he follows Vance out of the room.
"Shit..." Declan follows after them. Making Milo watch him with big eyes.
"I-is this normal?" I stutter out.
The twin like boys look at each other before looking back towards me.
"Uhm, well..." Lycus starts.
"Aren't you here because your different?" River cuts him off abruptly.
"I guess maybe..." I said nervously.
"Exactly. We all have our reasons." He rolls his eyes before turning back to his meal.

Tellus Stirs (Previously Earth AA)
The year is 2030. Earth is dying. War, pandemics, overwhelming pollution, species going extinct, climate change, etc. The so-called human race has brought more harm to their planet due to greed; their increased energy needs were on a path of decadence even with their increased technological advancements. Tactical Nukes were already used in conflicted zones in the fight for resources. The conclusion was a deep and frightening hum unleashed deep within the earth, heard by every living creature, and with it, civilization has ended. Those who survived wished they were slain along with their loved ones as the dead didn't have to endure what came after. Others took the opportunity to gain unimaginable power and prestige as a new age began. Chaos reigned as per the prophecies foretold in the past. Those who did not believe knew the signs were actual; these prophecies were no longer popular folk tales. Such titles, the Breaking, the Rapture, the Malhama, and many others, came at a high cost. After all, every city or densely populated area had been hit with natural disasters that encompassed tsunamis, Earthquakes, Firestorms, Typhoons, and hurricanes. Power, food, infrastructure. All of it was gone and what came after was worse as humans were no longer top of the food chain. Yet the imminent destruction of the 21st century re-opened a veil that had kept the world safe from hidden dangers, or maybe it was the other way around. Time will tell. In our story, the Protagonist rises from the ashes of the apocalypse. A desert child soldier nurtured by tragedy and death looking for an escape to fill the void in his heart. By chance, in his hand, he held a blade with immense possibilities.
