Kalons pov
Red, blue, red, blue. I watched the ambulance wheel away from the taller man, the accident I caused. My heart thumped loudly in my chest. I slowly walked home, knowing this was quickly my last 'normal' school.
I shivered as the cop pulled me into his car, holding onto the cuffs around my wrist.
My head slammed against the headrest, making me roll my eyes at him.
We pulled up to my aunt Lila's house, where I had been living since my parents passed away when I was younger. I don't remember how. I always assume it was a crash. I think I was told once before.
But I have horrid memory.
She refuses to talk about my parents. Anytime it's brought up, it becomes hush-hush.
So I stopped trying.
I'm left in the car as the cop talks to my aunt.
Tears are brought to her eyes as she nods, listening to the cop. He hands her a piece of paper after some time.
I'm let out of the cop car without being told anything.
I walk up to my aunt slowly with my head hung low.
"Get in the house." She sniffs as a tear falls down her cheek.
The door slams shut. "Kalon! I don't know what to do anymore." She yelled as tears began to fall. She sits down at the table and slams a note on the counter.
"London. He wants me to send you to London, to go to troubled teen home."
"I don't have a choice, honey." She shakes her head as tears continue to fall. She puts her head in her hands. I know she cares about me.
I wrap my arms around her and hug her tightly.
She cries into my shoulder. My aunt was about 5'2, so I stood about five inches taller than her.

"I'm sorry," I whispered into her hair.
-
"Alright - text me, or call me if you need anything."
"Lila, it's an 8-hour plane ride...I'll be just fine." I smile at her kindness.
"I know. I'm just worried about you, baby."
I shake my head before kissing both her cheeks as I hug her.
"Be safe. I love you." She ruffles my hair before I head through security.
The plane ride was incredibly dull, but I managed.
The streets of London seemed damp. I rode in a taxi to this...Haven's home for boys, the big letters written on a white stone outside a black fence.
When I arrived, the taxi driver helped me pull my bags to the ground.
The doors of the large brick house opened.
A taller man stood with slight stubble. He had beautiful emerald green eyes. His brown hair had blonde highlights.
There was a more petite boy at his side. He had bright blue eyes that seemed to sparkle with excitement. He was small, smaller than me. Five-foot, maybe five-two. His bleach blonde hair was fluffed up. It looked extremely soft.
"Kalon." The older man stepped out of the doorway, giving me a gentle smile. I hated to admit how attractive he was.
His clothes fit him perfectly. His white button-up was tight around his muscles, making them stand out in all the right ways.
"Uh, h-hi."
"Welcome to my school for boys. We're glad to have you." He held the door open and followed after him.
The main foyer was massive, with a couple of different doorways leading to other rooms. There was a grand staircase.
"This is Elliot. We also like to call him Elli. He's delightful." The small boy gave me a gentle wave and another smile. I nodded, almost rolling my eyes. His smile fell slightly.

"My name is Vance Haven. You can call me Vance if you'd like. Some boys choose to use other terms like 'sir' and such. Isn't that right, Elli?"
"Yes, sir!" He smiles at the older man as Vance fluffs his blonde hair.
"Sir!"
"Master!"
Two boys come tumbling down the stairs.
Both are out of breath and highly disorganized.
"We need you in the be-" They both pause, look up and down my body.
A smirk rises on their faces.
"Hello, I'm River." The shorter one holds out his hand. His hair held a light tinge of purple as maybe he dyed it a while ago.
"Lycus."
The other boy had a slight tinge of pink.
Assuming they did it around the same time.
"Boys - I told you I didn't want to overwhelm him. Get back upstairs, please." Vance told the boys off. His voice held a thick English accent.
"Yes, sir." They both muttered in sync as they ran up the stairs.
I can't help but snicker at how obedient they are. Like I'd listen to someone like him.
"Apologies for them. Can I show you to your room?"
I nodded as he took me up the stairs.
The room was bigger than my room back home.
It had light grays, white, and gold. The bed was smaller than mine back at home. I threw all my stuff onto it.
"The bathroom will be right down the hall to the left. Feel free to explore the rest of the house. I'm going to help start dinner. I'm sure you're starving." He smiles before leaving the room.
I sigh and throw my stuff onto my bed.
Bathroom.
I walk down the hall and question which door he said it was.
I pick the door with the door on the right.
Glancing in...I picked wrong.
A tall boy, maybe 5'8, laid on a couch across from the bed in the middle of his room.
His head was back, and his eyes were closed, but his chest rose and fell quickly.
Attempting to leave, after gathering enough information, my foot hit the wall behind me, making him jump up.
He had ocean blue eyes—pale skin, cheeks that became a rosy red instantly.
He pulled a blanket over himself instantly. And sputtered out sounds.
He was completely unable to form sentences.
"I'm sorry!" I yelp before slamming the door.
Vance comes up the stairs and raises an eyebrow as he looks towards me.
"I-I'm sorry. I went to the wrong room...I didn't mean to!" I blubber out. He smirks at me before knocking on the boys' door.
The boy opens the door quickly. And pushing his deep black hair out of his face, extremely disorganized and out of breath.
"Milo...I see you've already met Kalon?"
"Yes, master- er shit, sir- I mean - uhm, Mr. Haven?"
He lets out a nervous crooked smile.
Vance ignored it entirely and continued talking.
"This is Milo. I promise he's not as much of a mess as he seems." His mouth drops in the offense.
"Why don't you join the rest at the table?"
"Uhm - I was looking for the bathroom..." I let out a nervous chuckle.
Vance opened the door behind me with a friendly smile.
I faintly heard him talking to Milo after the door shut again.
"I didn't m-mean too, master."
"You're alright, boy, nothing to be ashamed about."
There was a soft squeak, which came from the more petite boy.

Loremaster: A Progression Dark Fantasy
Serena had died a Celestial. One of the few who were meant to rule over the vast multiverse. Yet she was inexplicably reborn. Carrying the knowledge of her past life, she seeks to do what her kind does best... rule. Yet, the multiverse isn't what it once was. Mortals aspire to become what the celestials once were, through levels or classes or cultivation. New things that didn't and shouldn't exist. And these mortals are only the beginning of what stands in her way. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Warning: There will be times that morally suspect themes happen. While I have little to no intention of showing them (especially during a Writathon) things like abuse of all kinds (neglect, emotional, mental, spiritual, physical and sexual) can or be implied to have happened. These are played to the horrors such things are, and are treated with the seriousness and aftereffects it would cause. Progression + Cultivation + GameLit + Multiverse + Slow Build + Slow Burn + Worldbuilding + Grimbright + Multiple POVs = Insanity for all. This the first time I am seriously writing an original story. I will be Writing each book in Parts/Arcs (3-6) with mini arcs (3-6 in each arc). Each Mini-arc is 5-14 or so chapters. I like progression stories and I've always wanted to try and write one like a few of the web novels that inspired me. The Game Lit aspects will be more in the background, with focus on other details like dungeons, monsters, loot, morality, and so on. There will be focus on various kinds of progression. Updates 3-5 days a week (Usually weekdays). Chapters will be roughly 1000-2500 words and alternate wildly.
