《The Alpha King's Tribrid Mate》20

I changed out of the beautiful dress and into the clothes I slept in. I really don't have a wide range of clothing to choose from.
I felt like calling him was too normal so I took out a pen and paper from the desk in my room and started writing a letter.
Dear Lucas,
Can you send someone to get me clothes. I currently have one change of clothes and it would be appreciated if had something more than my night clothes to wear for the rest of the time I'm here.
Nicolette
I signed it and crumpled it up. I opened my palm and a small fire burst from it. I said a spell as it burned away.
I looked up at the mirror and saw the small amount of mascara I had put on was stained around my eyes. I go into the bathroom and grab a makeup wipe and wipe it all off my face. I hear the door of my room swing open and I grin.
"Nicole you can't just send my letters by a burst of flames," I heard Lucas yell. I laugh as I walk out of the bathroom. "You could've just called."
"That's boring though," I shrug and grab the note from his hand. I sat on my bed and read it out loud.
"Dear Lucas, can you send someone to get me clothes. I currently have one change of clothes and it would be appreciated if had something more than my night clothes to wear for the rest of the time I'm here. Nicolette," I said. "I don't see anything wrong with my letter. Now my format may have been wrong considering I haven't written one in years."
"That wasn't the problem. The fact that it appeared to be in a burst of flames scared the shit out of me," he said. I frown and throw the note back at him.
"First too much information, second I know found a new way to scare you, third I don't see how the conversation is helping me get clothes," I said. He groans and leans on the wall.
"I sent Seth and Mia to go to pack town," he said. "Mia was very excited to go shopping."
"Thank you, see you did not have to come here to express how scared you were about the burst of flames in front of you," I said. He rolled his eyes and I just grinned.
"How was your meeting with the Alphas and Lunas?" He asks. I shrug and move further back on my bed and tucked under the covers. I flicked my hand and the heater in my room turned on.

"Pack training is in an hour or two and I think you promised them you would come back. They've been training harder," he said.
"Wow I didn't know I was that good. I show for one day and they're training harder that the months you've been training them," I laugh. He growls a little and rolls his eyes. "I'll come." He nods and takes a seat at the desk.
"Should I keep trying?" I ask him. He looks at me confused and I wrap into my blankets some more. "Keep trying with Malcom?"
"I don't know Nicole. You need to answer that question yourself. I can't have my say in this because I don't know everything," he said. I sigh and mumble a few words.
"You ordered him to stay away from the she-wolves. Why?" I ask him. I can sometimes hear Malcom's thoughts even though we're not mated. So, I hear things.
"How do you know that?" He asks. I shrug not answering him question.
"I want to see if it'll actually work out. I want to see him happy. He's always so grumpy and he almost never smiles. He just seems lonely," he says.
"I don't know Lucas. I don't think you should have done that. If he knows I'm here and he still does it then I know how he truly feels but I guess I won't know," I sigh. I know about his past, his father but who doesn't.

Training went by without any problems and I ended up making something for dinner.
Seth and Mia came back with clothes. A lot of clothes. Filled up half of the closet. I chose out some warm clothes and went outside.
The night sky was littered with stars the glittered in the darkness. The moon had fully disappeared and there was no source of light was given.
A breeze hit my warm causing me to shiver. The winter weather became more cold and snow had become more often. I liked snow. It made everything quiet and peaceful.
I lean over the railing of the balcony and stare into the distance. My parents could be standing next to me right now. I never celebrated my birthday after that day.
My birthday, in two weeks, marked the 574th anniversary of their death. Tears rolled down my face as I recall my last memory of them.
"You're going to freeze out here," I heard someone say from behind me. His voice made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and my whole body feel numb.

"I think I'll be okay," I chuckle. I sniff and wipe my tear stained cheeks and watch from the corner of my eye as Malcom stood next to me and leaned on the railing.
"Just so you know, Lucas isn't making me do anything. Everything I'm doing is from choice," he said. I scoff and shake my head.
"It was your choice to say you didn't want me. It was your choice to make me endure the countless times you were with other she-wolves. It was your choice to throw me into the dungeon. It was your choice to put me in the pack hospital. It was your choice to trap me in a room with silver surrounding it," I listed my voice getting gradually louder and angrier each time.
"There is no apology in the world that could ever convince me forgive you for the shit you've put me through these past weeks. All the pain and utter torture I've been through. You probably don't even think you've done anything wrong. That it was better if it was left this way," I said. I felt my anger rising and my wolf was getting angrier as the reality set in.
"You don't know anything about me," he growled.
"Oh really? I can tell you what I know. Your father trained you into being someone cruel. Someone who could take over the pack after him and keep it successful and powerful. I know that in your twisted head your using that as an excuse that it was because of how you were brought up. You think that you can't handle someone as controlling as me or as demanding. Let me tell you something you do not rule this earth," I snarl.
"And let me tell you something all might and powerful Tribrid," he spat. "Your parents died and you ran from them helplessly. You ran like you do with all your other problems."
"Shut up," I growl with tears welling up in my eyes.
"You don't know how to handle your problems. Your parents died while you escaped while they died protecting you. You. Are. A coward."
"You don't think I know that. Every day I wish I could be dead instead of them. Cause they have each other and they can learn to be happy again. I was left alone. Alone without anyone to guide me. I am a coward Malcom but at least I can admit to my problems. I hate myself. I hate how everyone can't know what I am or I would be killed instantly. I've killed so many people that didn't deserve it for fear they'd rat me out. I'm just tired I want to stop running but I don't really have other Tribrids helping me do I? Your parents are alive Malcom. They are in this earth with their hearts beating and their lungs are filled with air. I had to go home and find their torn of bodies and bury them. They had so much life still in them and they died protecting me," I said.
My vision became blurry then all I could see was how they were murdered. The version my consciousness came up with so I had something to blame shelf for.
I heard more voices that came shouting but I couldn't see them. My breathing became uneven and I felt energy building up.
I pushed to hard. She was on her knees with tears rolling off her face. Lucas burst into her room.
"Are you out of your mine what are you doing here," he growled. He looked at Nicolette and scowled at me. She didn't respond to any of his calls. "You need to calm her down before she loses it."
"What the hell am I supposed to do?" I yell at him.
"You're her mate therefore and you caused this therefore you fix it," he said. I bent down and sighed as I look at her. She lets her emotions control her.
"Nicolette you need to listen to my voice," I said. I grab her hand off of the cold floor and she looks up at me.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for pushing you. I didn't mean to send you over the edge," I said. Her breathing was still uneven as her chest heaved up and down. I took a deep breath as my heart started to pound.
I grabbed the back of her neck and slowly kissed her.
First I was screaming at Malcom then next thing was that his lips were on mine. I help and push him off of me.
"What the hell?" I yell at him. I groan as I get up. My legs were wobbly and my knees almost buckled. My wolf purred but I merely scowled.
"Don't you dare do that again," I growl.
