《The Alpha King's Tribrid Mate》3

My wolf was distressed. A week had passed and my wolf couldn't stop whining. She wanted to see him again. To feel the sparks that we shared. To hear his deep voice that brought joy to our ears.
I needed a break from wallowing in my own self-pity. I put on sports leggings and a sports bra and strap on my leather fingerless gloves. I walk outside and let the cool air wrap around my skin.
I shiver a bit but brought my wolf forward and warm me up. I jumped up and hung on a branch on a maple tree I planted years ago. I started my training off with a few pull ups.
I dropped to my feet and took a few deep breaths. I look at the top of the tree and started climbing. I grab the trunk of the tree and start climbing up the tree.
On the way up, I could see my breathing in the air. As I was almost to the top of the tree, small snow flakes started to fall from the sky.
My chest heaved up and down as I sat on the top of the branch. I haven't trained in so long, I am so out of shape. I leaned on the trunk and crossed my legs on the branch. The snow flakes fe lightly in my hair, melting into small water droplets.
"Nicolette I need you take this invisibility barrier down for me because I'm lonely," I heard a too familiar voice say. I look down and see Beckham standing in the field. I jump down to the ground and walk through the barrier.
"Ah Nicolette I thought you would never answer me," he smiled cheekily. I roll my eyes and wrap my arms around him.
"You're so stupid," I scoff. He lets out a laugh and hugs me back.
"I know but you still love me," he smirks. I rolled my eyes again and said a quick spell and let him in. He's the only one that knows almost everything about me.
I stubbed across him when he was just a new vampire and helped him. He's the only person I let in my home.
"Were you training?" He asks pointing to my gloves. I nod and and started to unstrap them but he grabbed my hand and strapped it up again.
"I'll keep training with you," he said. He pulled his shirt over his head and threw it down on the ground that revealed his toned abs that everyone guy wished they had.

"You don't have to I'll just do it later," I said. He shrugged and walked to the patch of dirt that didn't have grass in it.
"Let your anger out I see it building up in you," he said cracking his knuckles then his neck and gave me a little smile. I sigh knowing I won't convince him otherwise.
"Any ground rules you would like to establish?" I ask him. He thinks about it for a second whether he wanted my to use my powers or not.
"No witch powers and no werewolf biting that's it, everything else is fair game," he said. I nodded knowing that werewolf bites are lethal to vampires.
"You ready?" He asks. I nod and he comes straight after me. I jump over his head and slide on the cool dirt.
"You're jumping higher," he points out. I nod and he runs at me again using his vampire speed this time. He jabs me in the stomach and then my shoulder. I let out a winded breath and growl.
"And getting slower." I let out a angry snarl and charge at him. I slide between his legs and dead leg him. I wrap my arm around his neck and pushed my arm to his head.
"Wow 20 seconds quicker than last time," he congratulates me and I drop down on the floor.
"So how's Lucy?" I ask him referring to his mate. He shrugs and rests on his hands.
"She good we're settling in our new coven," he says. I nod showing him that I was listening to him.
"So how's your life been?" He asks changing the subject. I let out a sigh and lay down on the dirt and look at the sky.
"Terrible."
"Tell me about it," he said laying down next to me. I breathe out and look at the fog created.
"I met my mate a week ago," I said in a week voice. This was my first time addressing him after that night.
"Where is he?" He asked sitting up and looking down at me with shock laced in his voice. I sit up and sigh.
"He basically rejected me without actually rejecting me," I explained. The memory of him telling his beta that he has other she-wolves replayed in my head over and over again.
"Where is he? I'm going to kill him," he stated and stood up. I let out a chuckle and flop back down onto the floor.

"Good luck on that. If you kill him I don't think you can stay at your coven anymore," I said.
"Why? I'll tear his ass up...wait that sounded wrong. Anyway I'll kill him," he laughed in between.
"Beck he's the Alpha King," I sighed. His face softened and he rubbed his hand over his face and sighed and sat back down again.
"Shit I'm so sorry Nicole I can't help you there but if it was anyone else I would kill them in a snap," he said and wraps his arms around me.
"Right you would go and snap Alpha Titus' neck?" I laugh. I know all the Alpha's and Luna's, not personally though. When I pass through pack borders, I pretend I'm a wolf and change my scent to make it seem like I'm part of a pack.
"Okay so not just anyone else but you know what I mean," he said rolling his eyes. I stand up and roll my eyes.
"No Beck, I don't know what you're talking about," I said sarcastically. I tossed him his shirt and we walked inside. I sighed out of relief as we walked into my warm house.
I took of my gloves and threw them on the counter and collapsed on the couch. Beck sat down next to me and let out a breath.
"So why did you come here again?" I ask him. He shrugs and turns on my tv and skipped through the channels.
"I haven't seen you in awhile and I had a free day so I came to see you," he said. He finally chose a channel and I had no idea what was playing on my tv. I never understood the concept of it.
Whenever I go to town I just buy things I don't really use them though. I like to make my home feel lived in. It's lonely without anyone but I somehow entertain myself day to day.
"Do you have anything to eat?" He asks. I nod and he goes to my fridge.
"I think there's some blood bags in the bottom drawer," I point. He nods and takes a straw from my drawer and starts drinking.
I broke another pen in half and threw it in the trash. My wolf wouldn't stop irritating me about her. I didn't want her but why does he? There was knocks at my office door and I let out a grumble.
"Leave me alone Logan," I growl. The door opens and Morgan comes in dresses like a seductress. She has a fake smile on her face and halfway sits on my desk so that her ass will be more plump.
"What do you need Morgan," I said rolling my eyes.
"You look like you need a release," she says trailing her finger along my jaw. I let out a growl and pin her up on the nearest wall.
"This is the last time we're doing this," I whisper in ear. She lets out a small laugh and stares into my eyes.
"We both know that that's a lie Malcom."
Beck tossed me a blood bag and a straw and I pierced the plastic with it and started drinking.
"You're running out of blood bags," he said inspecting my fridge. I look and see like 4 more blood bags left. I drink 3 a day so I'll definitely be out by the end of today.
"Do you want me to run to town and get you more from the hospital?" I open my mouth to respond but a weak whimper. A sharp pain hit my stomach and I dropped the blood bag and it spilled all over my carpet.
"Nicole?" I heard Beck call out to me. The pain spread like a wildfire. It was like a blowtorch was held up to my stomach.
"Oh my god," he said looking at me. "Are you alright?" I weakly shake my head and hold my stomach.
"It's him my mate," I choke out. I let out a gasp as another wave of pain coursed through my body.
"Can't you do a spell or something to make the pain bearable?" He asks. I shake my head no again and he slams his fist into his couch.
"It's inflicted by his wolf and my witch can't interfere with it," I said quickly. The pain began to spread father than my stomach.
"I have to wait till he's finished."
