When I was 16 years old my father died. I was a mess. I wouldn't eat, I couldn't sleep. I don't even want to think about it.
By my 17th birthday my mother happily married Sinclair Even. My new stepfather.
Supposedly they are happily in love. I literally laugh every time I see them together.
But I won't lie. Sinclair is so fucking hot. I literally never thought ever in my life I would see a sexier man. Even my boyfriend isn't any competition. And he's hot.
I would literally fuck Sin in 2.5. I know I know I sound like a horrible person.
The only communication that ever happens between us is me saying hi. Because I had to. I never touched him or say anything more to him. Of course he has tried but come on.
I'm not almost 19 and graduating high school in less then a week. Three more days. Today's is Saturday.
I put on some Jean shorts and a white crop top. I pull on my vans and walk downstairs.
"I'm leaving!" I yell. I find my mom and Sin sitting on the couch extremely close. Eww.
"Where are you going?" Sin asks.
"Ill be back tonight ok mom?" I say ignoring sin. She looks at him then back at me then repeats again. She frowns.
She stands up and crosses her arms.
"What mother?" I ask getting crazy impatient. My boyfriend, Jak is waiting outside.
"I've been married to Sinclair for a little over two years and of my knowledge you haven't said more the two words to him" he frowns.

"And?" I ask sighing.
"You guys need to spend more time together." She pointing out.
"Honey it's fine." He says standing up. Thank you Sin.
"Yes honey, it fine" I mock him. "He's not my father so I don't care about him, so why get to know him?" I ask.
I see Sin frown a little, but cover it up.
My mom gasps.
"Don't talk about your father like that!" She yells.
"Father? Please. The only father I had died because of your reckless ass driving. So get the fuck out of here with that father bullshit." I yell and walk out of the door.
She thinks she loves little ole Sin so much. Lets see how fast he leaves her for me.

Re: Dragonize is a progression fantasy starting with a protagonist who must start at the bottom (or close to it), and work gradually upwards, making incremental progress with plenty of setbacks along the way. The protagonist, as someone coming from the world of academia, tends to be cautious, methodical, and contemplative. As such, expect this story to contain more than a few digressions as the main character takes the time to pontificate on a variety of topics ranging from Newtonian physics and horology to the nature of existence and the ethical dilemmas associated with being an obligate carnivore.

I didn't really like where it was going and stopped writing it. I might come back to it at some point but this won't be updating for a long time.
