hoes i wrote this yesterday and forgot to publish it. i thought i did but when i came to write the chapter for today i realized i didnt... oops my bad

Eddie woke up at the Tozier residence very very anxious. He didn't tell his mom where he was, and he forgot that every morning he took pills for his anxiety. It was his last day in Derry Maine and it was already off to a bad start.

Eddie took his phone from the floor where he dropped it late last night and read his notifications.

22 Missed Calls from Mom

83 Unread Texts from Mom

Eddie sighed heavily and looked at his battery percentage as all of those missed calls and texts probably brought it way, way, way down.

"fuck." Eddie said quietly. his phone was at 18%. he started listening to the few voicemails he had received from his mom.

Eddie, where are you? It's 11:30, you should be home by now. Call me.

Eddie, I don't know where you are and I'm getting worried. I called you friend Ben but he said you weren't with him. Can you please call me back.

I also called that dirty Marsh girl, she didn't respond, probably to busy being a slut to answer her phone. Would you please just call me back, Eddie?

Alright, Edward, I know you aren't happy about moving but you shouldn't be ignoring me. It's 12 and you aren't home and I'm worried.

I called that Mike friend of yours, he said you weren't with him and that I should call some Tozier residence... I don't know what that means... Who are the Tozier's and why haven't you told me about them?

Okay, Edward, I am really hoping that you are asleep somewhere safe and will be coming home soon. I looked up the Tozier's in the phone book, I called and there was no answer, but that is probably because of how late it is. Please be careful where ever you are.

That was the last voicemail he got from his mother. To be completely honest he was a little disappointed that she didn't threaten to call the cops. He was mad that she called Bev a slut, but there really wasn't much he could do except tell his mother to be nicer and less judging when he got home. Then he went to the 80 something texts his mother sent him.

; eddie please let me know when you are coming home

; you know we need this job eddie, we almost lost the house last month.

Eddie didn't bother reading the rest of the texts. There were a lot more texts, and all of them were basically saying the same thing 'Eddie come home.' ' Eddie I'm worried.' 'Eddie call me.'. He hated it. All he did was simply reply and then put his phone back down.

; ma, i'm fine. I fell asleep at my friend Richie's house. Don't worry, I'm okay.

; sorry i didn't respond, my phone was off because we went to the movies

(He lied about that part)

; im going to school, and i'll come right home after.

Just when he hit send he felt an arm wrap around his body, pulling him closer to it. He smiled remebering Richie was right next to him.

"Hey, sleepyhead," Eddie whispered lightly pressing a kiss on richies head.

"Spaghetti! How long have you been up?" Richie asked softly.

"Like fifteen minutes. My mom is really worried."

Just then he got another text from his mother.

; well, i'm glad you are safe. did you take your pills with you?

; you know you have a rough time of you don't take your pill

; mom i'm fine right now, i'll take it when i get home.

"Pills?" Richie questioned. Eddie didn't realize Richie was looking at his phone.

"Uh- uhm yeah." Eddie said putting his phone down. Sinking into the bed out of shame.

"What do you take pills for?"

"Well, pill, now." Eddie tried to explain. "Diazepam, for anxiety. It's really nothing. I think I can go a day without it."

"You never told me you had an anxiety problem." Richie said.

"It's not important." Eddie said looking back up at Richie.

"Anything to do with you is important to me." Richie said, now sitting up in his bed. "I think I have some diazepam... I'll look and see."

"Shit." Eddie said.

"What now?" Richie chuckled

"I don't have any clean clothes to wear."

Richie smirked at that, now instead of heading to the bathroom, he headed for his dresser. He pulled out a pair of black jeans and white shirt and placed them on the top of the dresser. Then Richie grabbed a Led Zeplin shirt and threw it at Eddie.

"Here you go. I uh, don't really have pants that'll fit your hot body." Richie said taking the clothes he prepared for himself and going to the bathroom.

"And you think this will fit me?" Eddie asked shouting to Richie as he left the room. Eddie looked at the shirt, it was two sizes too big. Eddie was a small and Richie, a large. He huffed at the shirt and shrugged, not really caring anymore.

He took off the shirt he had been wearing the previous day and put on the one Richie gave him. Eddie wasn't really a huge fan of having to wear the same boxers and black ripped jeans as he wore yesterday, but there was nothing he could do. He had to get to school in 20 minutes and he still hadn't eaten breakfast, something he hopes will keep his nerves down, at least for a little while.

By the time Richie got out of the bathroom he was all ready for school, he was wearing the jeans and plain white shirt he had grabbed and he had two bottles of pills in one hand and his dirty clothes in another.

"Here ya go, Eds." Richie said as he tossed one of the bottles to Eddie.

"I'm not supposed to. They could be different dosages... I don't think I should." Eddie said. But then he looked more at the bottle, at the dosage, at the name, at the doctor's name who prescribed the pills. It was all the same, except it said 'take when needed, and Richard Tozier' instead of 'once a day, and Edward Kaspbrak'.

"What?" Richie said with a confused look.

"Nothing, it's just, they are the same as mine. Huh, who would've thought." Eddie said taking one pill and placing it in his hand.

"Well, aren't you gonna take it Eds?" Richie said as he downed a pill Eddie could only assume was for is depression.

"You are supposed to eat before you take pills, Richie."

"Fine fine. on the way to school, I'll buy you a bagel." Richie said grabbing his school bag and heading for the door.

Shit, his school bag. Eddie didn't have his. Eddie took a second to process his school schedule and then remembered that this was his last day at Derry High, he didn't need a fucking thing.
