"Once in awhile, Right in the middle of an ordinary life, Love gives us a fairytale." — Anonymous

"Okay, let's clear all these misunderstandings," I said as soon as I got her alone in my car.

Her face hardened. I knew she's just playing along today and I didn't mind that. Last night, after talking to mom and dad, clearing everything with them and venting out my disappointment at them, I left their mansion a little better after that big revelation of our life and headed straight to the Pallos' mansion.

She was already sleeping when I arrived, theia Yvonne cajoled me to stay and sleep at one of the guest rooms which I did and so I can come with them to pick up Elle and Nicolai.

I was surprised to hear that Nicolai is coming home with Elle. After that night, I refused to know whatever happened that night because I was still a train wreck after I found out they are getting married and Victoria.

I missed Nicolai, to be honest, and so I agreed. I told myself, I'm not leaving the mansion without clearing the misunderstanding.

Victoria huffed as she turns her attention outside the window. "What you hear were true, but it wasn't me!" I started in a low soft voice. She was looking straight ahead, but with a blank face. I don't know what she's thinking and I'm getting frustrated of her acting like a brat again.

Patience, Xandrous. I reminded myself.

I shifted my body to face her. "That guy wasn't me, Vicky." I couldn't still say the word my twin. To be honest, I'm still stunned until now, shocked. And my parents doesn't want anyone to know yet until my whole siblings learn about him and then they will make a press conference and letting the world know that he's a Mailov, my twin.

Averting her gaze to me, "she called you Xandrous?" she scowled as she cocked her eyebrow disparagingly. "Then who could it be?" flinging her hands in the air with frustrations, she scoffed, half chuckling. And the way she's mocking me really pisses me off.

"Not because she called the man Xandrous doesn't mean it was me?" I shot back exasperated. "What if the guy was just acting. Faking it was me?" cocking my head to the side as I stared at her squarely. "Why did you just jump into conclusion, just because you heard my name!" I scowled at her.

She shook her head in disapproval, her eyes filled with disbelief. She hastily opens the door and smirks. "You talk to me when you can show that guy and prove it was him!" in resignation and hops out before I could stop her.

I instinctively followed her. "Stop it, Vicky! You are just being unreasonable." I growled in frustrations, running my hair with my fingers as I stop and watch her back retreating.

She stops and faces me with defiance. "Oh yeah, now I'm being unreasonable? I hear you kissed her!" She snaps, glaring at me before she spun on her heel and strutted away.

"You don't understand, Vicky." I sighed as I followed her.

She strutted purposefully towards the door and spoke in a mocking tone. "What do I don't understand? That you are fucking that bitch? That you are always toying with me, Xandrous?" she retorted grimly without stopping and heading straight for the door without looking back.

"ENOUGH!" I growled loudly but she disappears into the door and as I turned to my car, I was startled. Elle was standing a meter away from me holding her purse.

She smiled at me. "Where is Vicky?" she asked as she looks around me.

"Oh, she's already inside," I responded, giving her a small smile. I felt relieved when she looks unaware of her surroundings.

"Alright. It's nice seeing you, Xandrous." I nodded and I watch her back heading to the door.

I left the mansion begrudgingly. I need to see Taryn or Alexandrine. I need to bring him to her.

Fuck! I can't still believe I have a brother, a twin.

"I'm sorry, Xandrous. I don't know how will you take it," mom choke out, dad was just rubbing her back, soothing her the whole time.

"I'm still shocked mom, but it is what it is. He was stolen, it's not your fault, and I understand him. I was shocked as well, and I'm sure he's lost more than we do," I said, still trying to process what just happened and the big revelations of our lives.

"How about the hospital? Those people behind this? They need to pay for ruining our family!"

Dad who had been quiet spoke deadly. "The court is already working on that. Regarding Tara's twin, she already admitted she took him after her sister's death. She's now in jail."

"I nodded. Taking their license is not enough for what they did!" I grit out.

"Yes, but the court can only sentence them," dad nodded.

I was startled at the loud honk behind me and then I realized the light is green. Stepping on the gas, I tried to focus on the road.

.........................

I wanted to screamed or break something. I want to strangle anyone because I'm freaking mad right now. He thought I'm being unreasonable?

I was trudging down the hallway aimlessly when Luke pops out of nowhere.

"You look murderous?" he teased as he stops for a moment.

"Yes, and stop messing with me before I'll strangle you to death!" I hissed gritting my teeth.

He let out a soft chuckled and shook his head. "Would you like to help me with the cake? I'm going to get it, it's in the fridge," upon hearing it, I smiled shaking my head in agreement.

Luke and I ventured down the hall and into series of rooms. "What do you think of Jewel?" he randomly asked and I look at him in surprise. He never likes to talk about his life or this girl he hangs out with.

"She's beautiful and smart," I cautiously responded. His smile is full of pride. "You're serious about her, are you?" I asked intently. Turning left, he looks at me and nodded.

"She's very different from all these girls I've met," he mused. That sweet smile never left his face.

"Well," I smiled "good for you," giving his shoulder blade a soft pat, he grinned at me.

"Let's go get the cake," then he led me to the fridge and opens it.

I wave to our cook and our baker, Aury. I'm sure she's the one who bake the cake. "Help me here, Vi," Luke calls and I turn to look at him, holding the round big cake and I walk closer and closes the fridge as he took it out.

"Welcome home, princess" was beautifully written on top of the cake in cursive.

We both excitedly headed upstairs where Elle, mom, and dad waiting. Victoria opened the door, and Luke was behind her holding a cake.

I twisted the lever knob down and gave it a push, opening it widely as I walk in and Luke trailing behind me. He stood on my side and with a broad smile, "Welcome home, little sis."

I watch her eyes bulging as she jumps off her bed and launched herself onto me. "Thank you!" I let out a startled breath as I caught her in my arms, and both giggling. I smiled contentedly as we hug. I felt so overwhelmingly happy. I've been waiting for this day to come, for me to finally hug her without reservation, without hatred, but with full of sisterly love.

When I pulled away, Luke hugs her tight and I saw that he really cares for us. I thought he doesn't care about anyone, but I was wrong. He places a kiss on top of her head and I saw dad in him.

"I love you both!" Elle's sniffed and I smiled. She's still the softie.

"Don't ever ran away again!" Luke teased and I chuckled as I move closer and hugs them both. I felt Elle's hand around me, pulling me closer so we have a group hug. It was the best feeling I must say.

Siblings are the people you couldn't turn your back. They are the best people you could have and always at your back, no matter what. We may argue, fight, but we are always connected not just by blood but with through hearts. They are the best friends we can't get rid off and who can't ditch us no matter how bad we can get. They are the people who can accept us at our worst.

I felt mom and dad hug us, too and I sighed contentedly. "Never. I miss you all so much." Elle said.

"I love you all. God, my babies are all grown-ups!" mom mumbled and we broke out into giggles. "They are still my babies," Dad then piped in. I grunted in disapproval and so Luke, and then we burst into laughter. The happiness filled the air and it is overwhelming.

It was beautiful, we were complete and wearing happy faces. There is no bitterness left in our hearts, no reservations, and no hatred or jealousy.

There was a knock on the door. "Who could it be? I have only three kids, right agapi mou?" Dad asked mom playfully and mom rolled her eyes dramatically. I heard Elle chuckled.

"If I didn't threaten you to get vasectomize, I'm sure we would end up having twelve kids," Mom widens her eyes at him and all three of us were looking at dad with disbelief, who was grinning mischievously at mom as he walks to the door.

"Come in," dad said after a few minutes.

The door opens and Jaime walks in, looking happy. "Sir, the Petropoulis family are here." Dad and mom look at each other.

"Let's go see them," mom said and gave us a kiss before they both left us.

As soon as they disappeared, I pulled her to her bed and sat. "Tell me about your escapade sis," I chirped excitedly and Luke groaned.

"How about the cake?" he asked in a bored tone. I grinned as look at him glibly.

"We can eat it while chatting?" We both look at her.

"No," Luke shook his head. I will bring it down with me and ask one of the maids to bring up some for you. I don't want to hear any of your girly topics," and with that, he carried the cake and left.

I didn't really mind about the cake. I'm so excited being with her. "I missed you and I love you, Elle," as I pulled her into me and hug her. I was smiling like a fool. "I will make it up to you. I know I've been a bad sister to you," I smiled trying to swallow down the guilt that's about to resurface.

She pulled me closer to her and return my embrace. "I understand you, Vicky and I forgave you. I'm sorry, too, for being selfish."

"Shhh... It's all my fault. I've been selfish. Not you," as I pulled away.

"I love you, Vicky. I have been dreaming this moment to come," she said earnestly, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. I was holding my tears back as well.

I nodded as I reach for her face. Staring at her intently. "I promise that I will be a good sister, from this day. I regretted everything I did. I was just blinded by jealousy." My hands drop to hers and I held them tightly as I flashed her a smile.

"I can't believe you and Nico will end up together and I can't be so happier," I beamed at her.

Her eyes twinkled like a star. She's glowing and I know why. When I saw Nicolai and how he stared at her, I knew they are both madly in love.

She grinned enthusiastically. "Yes, I am so happy. I can't describe it, it's just overwhelming," she giggled. The way she spoke, and smile, she just radiates happiness, you could almost see hearts blowing out of her eyes, literally.

"I'm so happy for you.." I beamed at her earnestly.

We were both giggling when her phone beeps. She excused herself and I smiled as I watch her got out of the bed and check the message.

She was smiling at first as she taps on her phone then her smile withered morphing into a frown. Her face looks paler by the second and I instinctively bolted out of the bed when I felt something is terribly wrong and ran up to her.

"Are you alright, Elle?" I asked as I reached her. She didn't respond and she leans on me. I knew she's going to collapse by the looks of her face. She even feels colder. "Elle, you look so pale, sissy," I frantically said. Her limp body leaning against me is getting heavier and then she fainted.

"Elle! Elle!" I cried out.

Panic rose and dread filled me. I heard the phone made a thump as it connected to the carpeted floor and I ignored it. My whole system was on her.

"HELP!" I cried out loud as I tap her cheeks a little harder to wake her up. I remember she has a problem in the heart. "Elle, come on, wake up," I croaked, and I realized I was shaking. My shaky fingers tapping her cheeks.

"HELLPP!" I screamed as loud as I can and then I hear footsteps coming through the door. I didn't look up as I cradled Elle in my lap. "No, no. no.. Elle. Wake up, please."

"What happened?" Nicolai was already on his knees, shaking as I am as he took her into his arm.

"WHAT HAPPENED?" I heard dad asked in the same panicking voice. I was still shaking and at the same time shocked.

I took the phone that she drops when she fainted. I'm still shocked and shaky. I felt someone pulled me up and I was too disoriented to care who it was. I am so petrified that I thought she's going to die in my arms.

.........................

"Eleanor and Nicolai, by the power vested in me by the Court of Athens, I am pleased to pronounce you wife and husband, sealed together today both in law and in love," he smiled at us, then his eyes trained on my teasingly. "Nicolai, you may kiss your wife!"

I blink again and pinch myself to check if I'm dreaming. My sister and Nicolai is wedded today, here in our library. Dad demanded him to marry her because she's pregnant. She collapses because she's stress.

I smiled and tried not to feel any envy. She deserves it, they both deserves each other.

I gave dad the phone, too and told him that there must be something in that text that stressed her out and cause her to faint. Dad didn't believe me at first because there was no text or probably it was accidentally deleted when she collapses but then Nicolai admitted that she has a stalker.

Yes, my sister has a stalker and we are all worried for her safety. Dad insisted them to stay so they can watch her and catch who the stalker is.

And today, I'm in my office, trying to finish a report and Xandrous just called to come today with a surprise.

......................

"Where do you think are you taking me?" Taryn or Alexandrine growled icily as he smacks my hand and I reluctantly release his hand.

"To my fiancee," I hissed.

He let out an annoying chuckle that filled the four walls of the lift. I punch the 25th floor harshly. "What's so funny?" I grit out.

"Nothing! Are you not alarmed I might charm her just like I did to Cassie?" he teased. Clenching my hands tightly, I ignored his annoying remarks.

"You better act like a normal person if you want me to help you with Cassie!" I snap at him and he looks at me and smirks.

That's the reason why he agreed to come with me. I see that he likes Cassie, the way his eyes softens every time he hears her name, I knew she's his weakness so I used it to my advantage.

He straightens and his cold demeanor was back. "Dad can help me you know?" he shrugs his shoulders and I shot him a disparaging stare.

"You think Cassie would melt when dad meddled?" I scoffed snarkily. "FYI," I leaned forward a bit and whispered enough for him to grasp "she hated dad!"

Just as I straightened, the elevator dinged and I step out first. I felt him following and everyone looks at us, bewildered. Eyes shifting between us.

"Mr. Mailov?" I nodded. I turned to see Taryn with his hands resting in his pockets looking around, familiarizing himself around him and ignored the admiring stares thrown at him as he follows me.

"This is the PP holdings," I said as soon as he was beside me. He just shrugs his shoulder.

When I reach her door, I opened it and walks in. She looks up from the papers in front of her and gave me a small smile. I turned to look at the door and that ass didn't follow.

"Wait," I said, lifting my index finger and walk through the door and saw Taryn talking to the red-haired petite girl.

"Taryn!" I called and he looks at me with a smug face and I glared at him. "Later with that flirting and if you don't want Cassie to know!" I hissed and he just smirks.

He walks towards me and I almost smack his face trying to wipe that smirks off his face. "What's going on, Xandrous?" I heard Vicky asked and I tug Taryn by his wrist inside.

"Hello again, pretty!" Taryn smiled at Vicky and Vicky was staring at him, dumbfounded.

"H-Hi?" her voice softening, her eyes trained on him and I made a fake cough, catching her attention.

"Vi, this is Taryn," as I gave his shoulder a hard pat, and he snapped his head in my direction and gave me a warning to which I just brush it off. "His real name is Alexandrine Mailov and he's my twin!" I said and Vicky's eye widened.

"NO WAY!" she blurted out, surprised.

"Yes. And he's the one in the voice recorder that Cassie thought it was me. And he's the father of Cassie's baby!" I said in one breath. I gave Taryn another hard pat on his shoulder.

"He's lying," Taryn chuckled and smirk at me. I clenched my jaw as I stared at him deadly. I'm so going to kill him. Vicky was still staring at us incredulously.

"And your voices are also the same. Rich and velvety, so masculine," she mused, astonished.

"No, no, no. I sounded more manly than him. And please, don't compare us!" Taryn objected and Vicky chuckled as soon as she recovered.
