I moved a little in my sleep as I could feel something tingling on my skin.I opened my eyes a little and saw a spider crawling up to my neck.I screamed and harshly moved my hands on neck to get rid out of it. Fortunately, it was removed.
My eyes were hurting. I could feel the pain in my whole body. Yesterday night events rushed in front of my eyes.I closed my eyes to get rid of it, I was hurt not only from outside but inside too.My heart was aching.I was scared of dark and he closed me in that dark room.
I moved toward the door with heavy foot.I was unable to walk. It was paining a lot.I tried to open the door but it was locked ,I sighed and walked back to place where I slept.I sat down and brought my legs close to my chest and wrapped my arms around the legs. Tears escaped from my eyes and I could hear my own hiccups. I was crying on my cruel destiny.This was not the way I wanted my life to be.Life is unpredictable. So unfair to me right now.
I was cursing life when a destroyer of my life and dreams opened the door with a thud.I looked at him.He was looking so fresh and happy. How could someone be so much cruel? Feeling good after destroying someone's dream? How could he be in peace? I was trying to find answers to these questions.
"Stop looking at me.Go and make some breakfast for me as well as I don't want any arguments.Okay?"He said while looking at me with no care.
I looked down and nodded.I was scared from him.He could do anything.I was helpless.Maya Javed was never helpless but Maya Zain Abbas was helpless.

" Come on!!! get up stupid woman.I don't have whole day.Make it fast ." He said while going out of store room. I stood up and moved towards kitchen with too much difficulty.I washed my face with cold water in kitchen sink.It was kinda relaxing. This cold water even though were irritating my eyes but at the same time giving me pleasure of getting used to pain.I quickly made breakfast for him and put the breakfast on the table.I went inside to take juice for him .When I came out I saw him descending the stairs while his laugh was booming in hall ,he was talking to someone on phone.After giving me pain he should be sorry but he was laughing ,enjoying my condition. He looked at me, I quickly averted my eyes and put the juice on table.I moved back from the table and let him sit.He sat down and started eating his breakfast .I turned back to go to kitchen and wash utensils, when he caught my hand.I stopped and slowly moved towards him.He was looking at me deeply.I quickly looked down.He stood up from his seat and came near me. Fear was engulfing me.I closed my eyes tightly.I did not want to get hurt.
He called out a maid.I opened my eyes and looked at him.Why was he calling a maid? I was confused ,I thought he was gonna hurt me.
"You woman!!!, come here...Listen to me very carefully girl, if she eat anything today then you better have to face the consequences. I can throw your son out of his school and he will not get admissions anywhere.You already know how much money you have already paid for his education.Don't let her eat anything.Do you understand that huh?" Zain said to her while pointing at me.

To be honest , I was shocked how could he be so ruthless, I could see the tears in that woman eyes who was terrifying from the consequences.I know I hadn't eaten anything from yesterday but I could not ignore those teary eyes and shivering lips.If he wanted that then I would not eat anything.
He smirked at me and gave a sharp look to that woman and then moved out of house. I was looking at his retreating back. I looked at the woman who just smiled with so much pity for me.I could still see fear of me eating, in her eyes.I assured her that I would not eat anything.I could not destroy his child life.I somehow know the hardships of poor people.Alisha's family was poor before but they survived and now they were living a better life than us.

I should call her.Maybe she could again change his behaviour .I moved toward my room to get my mobile and then I called her.She seemed somehow surprised on my call.I told her everything .She again soothed me and said that she would talk to Zain.I was kinda relaxed as Zain always listened to her.
