《Prostitute's Fate》CHAPTER 36

"Where are you going?" Hitesh asked him when he saw Reyansh leaving from home.
"Just want to take a stroll." He replied nonchalantly. Hitesh didn't said anything and went inside unsure. After Reyansh was sure that Hitesh left from there he went to her apartment to quench his thirst.
He entered using his key. Samaira was cleaning dishes. That was suspicious as he didn't remember asking her to eat or make something.
He tiptoed behind her. She got alarmed. He snaked his one arm around her waist and turned her towards himself.
"What were you doing Myra?" He asked knowing perfectly well that she won't be able to utter a word.
"I...I was ju..just cleaning." She replied too afraid. "Why were you cleaning? Did you do something you weren't supposed to?" He asked her while nuzzling his nose in her neck.
She couldn't speak. She knew she screwed up. He told her clearly that she wasn't permitted to eat anything today still she did.
"I..I am sorry. Please." She begged him and just then his grip around her waist tightened. He moved his hand on her back.
"Did you eat?" He asked still molesting her and she just nodded her head too afraid to speak. He moved back and slapped her hard on her face.
She kept her hand on her now burning cheek. He moved forward and lifted his hand again to slap her but then felt a sting on his cheek instead.
"Care to explain." It was Hitesh who slapped her and now was shielding Samaira. His eyes were blood shot. He was clearly fuming in rage.
"Hitesh, it's not what you think it is. She likes it too. She likes it when I am rough." He tried to give the lamest reason possible.
"Don't you ever show me your face again. I am resigning from my job." He said angrily and dragged Samaira with him to his car.
"Hitesh, listen to me please." He was saying while trying to stop him but one look from Hitesh was enough to stop him from doing anything.

Samaira was afraid that he might snap at her too. After all she did wrong to him as well. He didn't spoke to her at all.
The car ride was silent. Hitesh's knuckles were white due to his tight grip on steering. Samaira was hiccuping. He didn't even bothered to comfort her.
He stopped the car at a small bakery and took water bottle and two burgers. He offered her water which she took hiccuping.
The car came to a stop near a society building. He came out whereas Samaira stayed in. He opened her side of the door for her to come out but she didn't.
"Come out." His voice was stern leaving no room for arguments. She did. He held her hand and took her to the elevator. The people around gave them weird looks.
They reached to the 6th floor and he opened a door of his apartment.
The place was dirty. It looked like no one came here since months.
He took her to the kitchen and washed a plate then kept the burger infront of her. She looked at him to find any expression on his face except for anger but failed.
"Eat" he ordered in the same tone as Reyansh and she obliged. He sat opposite of her not bothering to clean chair.
"I don't want to know anything. Just tell me why you didn't told me when I asked you the same question every day." He asked with clenched jaw and gritted teeth to control his anger.
"He planted a chip in my body so whatever I speak he would be able to hear it. He threatened me that he would kill Idhant and tell my family that I am a Prostitute." She said hiccuping as well as trying to calm herself down.
He didn't respond just looked at her with an unbelievable look on his face. She couldn't find the courage to look at him.
"I thought you are smart but turns out you are the dumbest girl in the world. There is no such thing." He informed her and she looked shocked.

She couldn't believe that she did such a big stupidity. She should have told him next day itself as she planned.
"Now, you will do as I say. As you are already used to being ordered around what to do." He said with bitterness in his voice.
"After you finish eating, go and take a bath. I'll have someone clean this house." He said while taking his car keys.
"I can clean it for you as a thank you and I don't have anything to wear." She said and that's when he lost it completely.
"Did you use to talk back to him as well? Just do as you are told. I'll get something for you." He shouted angrily and left from there slamming the door shut.
She bursted into another cry. She couldn't believe she ruined everything with Hitesh for Reyansh. She just hoped for everything to be fine again.
She got up and washed her face throughly. She roamed around the apartment in search of bathroom. Finally she found it in one of the room.
She entered only to know that there wasn't any essential. The shampoo was expired and soap was too dirty to use. She opened the cupboard hoping to find anything.
There was only a few cleaning detergents. So she decided to clean the bathroom instead.
Hitesh came back with a cleaning lady and saw Samaira cleaning the bathroom floor. He grabbed her shoulder and made her stand.
"Samaira, just take a bath princess." He said softly. "There is no soap or shampoo." She said on the verge of crying again.
" Okay just come here." He guided her towards the living room and made her sit on a table after cleaning it with his shirt.
"I know I shouted at you but trust me I didn't mean anything. I was just so much angry at Reyansh and was just upset that you didn't trust me enough." He said as he was speaking to a child to make her comfortable
" It's not like that. I trust you so much. It's just he threatened that he'll kill Idhant. I love him so much. I can't bear to loose him."
It pained him deeply to know that she loves someone else. He knew they don't have any future together. Still it hurted him so much.
"That's fine, princess." He said not able to speak anymore. Soon the lady came and informed them that bathroom is clean.
Hitesh gave her the dress he bought for her. It was simple kurti. He also bought her leggings knowing well that she hates to show her body. He gave her soap and other necessary things. After she left he also went to another bathroom.
Samaira tooked her time. She cried and promised herself to not cry anymore and never be a puppet for anyone. She came out and saw Hitesh. It looked like he was going somewhere.
"Let's go out somewhere. You'll feel good." He said to make her day better. "It's so late at night." She voiced her concern clearly not in a mood to go out.
" Then, it will be more fun. We can go to a long long drive like you always wanted." He said to cheer her up. "I just want to be alone. Please." She said and he didn't asked further.
She went to one the room and slept there or tried to sleep. It was disturbing. There were nightmares. Reyansh's words which pierced her heart mixed with the furious look Idhant gave her when he got to know about Ananya.
Ananya's tear sticker face. Aarav's slap mark on her cheek. How she mocked her. How she blackmailed her. Everything was flashing in front of her eyes.
As the sun came up she got and went to the bathroom for her morning routine. She came out wearing the same dress as yesterday.
She felt pain and burdened. She decided to do something for Ananya as this might help her feel less guilt. She also has to contact Idhant somehow. She just wanted to meet him once.

After fighting a diseased ancient silver dragon, Oskar must solve a mystery that leads him halfway across the world in pursuit of answers. This story is based on a character from a tabletop roleplaying game. I realized that I'd spent quite a lot of time planning out his backstory, and decided to go ahead and write some of it down. Then I wrote more, and more, and realized that I had a lot more than any sane RPG player should write about their character...
