《Prostitute's Fate》Chapter 32

I woke up at evening. I don't know for how long I slept. I was feeling pain in my wrist indicating that it was time for me to take medicines but for that I have to eat again.
I didn't want Ed to eat so I decide to just take a pain killer and discover this lavish looking mansion. I went out after freshing up. I went to drawing area which had unusually big sofa easily 3 people can sleep side by side.
I saw a theatre, library, gaming room and many other useless rooms with fancy names. When I went near "his" room, I shivered reminiscing those dreadful nights and days I spent there crying. I quickly ran past his room to mine ending my little tour around mansion.
It was almost 10pm and my stomach was cursing me so I went to the dinning area saw that food was ready.
I asked one of the maid and she served me. I wonder why he didn't have them vacation as he told me he would. Nonetheless I started eating and it was delicious. I was eating when I heard two laughing voices.
That was the first time I saw Reyansh laughing genuinely. It was mesmerizing for others but for me it was frightening. The thing that scared me most was that Hitesh was also laughing with him. I thought he was on my side but of course he is his friend first.
They both looked at me and their facial expression changed. Reyansh looked slightly afraid and ready to run but Hitesh looked pure angry. Maybe he doesn't want me to stay here or Reyansh might have said her something to turn him against me.
He turned to leave and just then I saw his hand bandaged. It looked like he got into some accident.
"What happened to your hand?" I asked him out of curiosity. I looked up and saw Reyansh still for a while then he turned around to face me.
He looked at Hitesh and then turned to me. His eyes were flashing with anger. Those eyes haunt me. As usual I got scared and moved back to somehow escape from his angry eyes.

I shouldn't have even asked. He better die or rot in hell. I would never again ask her anything.
"Eat your food" he spat and left. Hitesh didn't said anything just looked at his friend's retreating back.
"Bhabhi, I am hungry so, Can I join you?" Hitesh asked me with his usual politeness.
He still called me Bhabhi that means he still considers me as his wife or whatever.
Me and Hitesh started eating still I was quite reluctant bro sit with the man who was just few moments ago laughing with my rapist or so called "husband".
We were eating in silence. Me in uncomfortable one and Hitesh in I don't know which but it was awkward for both of us equally.
I was done so I hurriedly got up to leave and I almost succeeded to stand up when Hitesh looked at me with his usual warm smile. I don't know whether I should trust him or not.
"Bhabhi, if you don't mind. Can you tell me what happened that night." He asked and I sat back not to fulfill his wish but to clear my mind.
"I don't know what to think or believe. I told about my past earlier because I thought you were trustable but then you were laughing with him. Even after knowing that he raped me, abused me several times." Mine voice was shaking by now and I was again crying.
"Woah, woah Princess hold on" he said standing and coming too close to me. He sat neary chair on his kn I w and forwarded his hands to wipe my tears.
Hitesh kept his hand on her lap and looked up in her eyes which were filled with fear and unknown emotion.
"Bhabhi, just know one thing that you will always find me beside you even if I have to stand against Reyansh." He said with sincerety and Samaira could see that but still she was reluctant.
" You are his best friend. He is always going to be your first choice whereas me...." She stopped to take breath and Hitesh waited for her to continue.

"We just met few days ago. If you won't count that meet at..at...." She was hiccuping. He stood up and brought a glass of water for her to drink while he rubbed her back to calm her down.
"And you still call me Bhabhi, which means you consider me his wife and you want me to stay here only." She completed her words. Strangely Hitesh felt bad when she called herself his wife.
He felt hurt after seeing her tears. For a moment he wondered whom to console first. Himself or her. Apparently he decided to console her as that would be automatically lessen his misery.
"First of all, I won't call you bhabhi anymore, if you don't like it. And second thing if you don't want to stay here then I won't force you to. If you want I would help you to settle somewhere you like." He said.
Samaira tried to speak but was stopped by him. " I was with him because he got into accident and I feel really guilty for that time being. I forgot about you and also the fact that I still don't know about the complications of your marriage." He finished saying and just stayed there gazing at her hand.
Samaira genuinely felt guilty. "I am sorry for whatever I said. You don't have to feel guilty. He is your childhood friend. You guys might know each other from so long." She said in a small voice.
"21 years" Samaira's eyes shot up to look at him. "What?" She asked confused.
"We both know each other from last 21 years." He explained her. She looked shocked and silently thought how she doesn't have any such friend. " And still you want to help me against your own friend?" She asked not understanding why would he choose her over him.
He sat infront of her dragging a chair. " Samaira, Reyansh is my best friend. I always want best for him. The Reyansh you is the opposite of the person he really is. I would stand with you bat because I am choosing you over him.
"It's because he is my first priority.
I don't want him to ruin himself by his own hands and regret later when there is no going back." He said and Samaira could easily see how much he cares for Reyansh.
" I got it." She said and decided to go back to her room to ponder upon everything happened.
"Samaira, you mind telling me what happened that night. I can't take my mind off of that." He asked hoping she would trust him.
"I was raped that night when I was going back to my apartment." She said without any emotion in her voice.
Hitesh was speechless. He didn't know whether he should ask her more or not.
" I felt someone dragging me behind a tree and there that man drugged me. Then they took me to their house. What happened there I don't remember. Next day when I woke up I was at my house."
She said but controlled her tears. She looked at him thinking that even he would look at her with disgust.
Hitesh was actually looking at her with adoration and pride. She wasn't used to these looks. So she took her leave and went back to her room to again cry herself to sleep.
Hitesh stayed there for a few minutes and then left still thinking about what she said.
Unknown to both of them Reyansh was there listening everything she said. After a long time he felt himself crying.
