Author's POV:

Vicky who came back from the school started shouting for his mother from the entrance.

"Amma, your Vicky is back, where are you?"

"She is in her room, sir", said a maid.

Vikram ran to his parents room, but found the room empty.

"Amma, are you there?", mumbled Vikram.

He knocked on the bathroom, but found it unlocked and empty. He then moved inside the closet, and found his mother lying unconscious on the floor. He got panicked and ran towards her. He sat beside her and tapped her face.

"Amma, wake up, what happened to you, why are you not opening your eyes?" Vikram said, while controlling his tears.

He got afraid, seeing Anju not opening her eyes. His mind went back to the day, when saw the corpse of his father covered in white sheet. He didn't understand what to do. He immediately went outside the closet, and dialed to Shekhar's number from the land-line in his mother's room.

Phone conversation:

"Hello", said Shekar.

"Hello mavayya, amma is opening her eyes. She was lying unconscious on the floor. Please come fast na. I'm getting afraid", said Vikram, while controlling his tears.

"Shh, calm down, Vicky. I'm starting immediately", said Shekar.

Vikram cut the call and took the water bottle with him and moved inside the closet. He sprinkled some water on her face and tapped on her face lightly, calling her.

After a few minutes, Anju opened her eyes slowly and looked around. She saw Vikram sitting beside and crying silently. She called his name, and hugged him tightly.

"Amma, what happened to you? Do you know, I got afraid seeing you like this?" Said Vikram, snuggling into his mother.

"Nothing happened to me baby, see your Amma is fine", Anju said, kissing Vikram's forehead. "Now, go and freshen-up, by then, I'll prepare your favorite onion pakora."

"You take rest, amma. I'll ask Devi aunty (cook) to make them", saying that, he kissed Anju's cheeks and left to his room.

Anju smiled, looking at her son. She got up from the floor, and safely hid the dairy and box in the locker. She moved to the kitchen and started preparing onion pakora for her son.

Just then, Shekar, Vani and Anitha came inside the house and shouting Vikram's name. Anju who was in the kitchen came outside, listening to their shouts.

"Annayya, vadina, Anitha vadina what happened? Why are shouting Vikram's name?" Anju asked them.

"Vikram called me and told, you had fainted. That's why I've called to Anitha, and told her to come here. Vani was with me when Vikram had called, so she said she would accompany me", Shekar told Anju.

Anju's face paled, listening to him. She has a lot to tell them, but she can't say it now. She definitely knew, there were some men appointed by her in-laws working here. She has to check whether there were any secret camera's or not.

"I'm fine, guys. I just fainted due to stress, now I'm fine", she said, composing herself.

But Shekar was not satisfied with her answer. He has noticed the change in her face expressions, but thought to talk with her later, as he saw Vikram coming down.

"Aunty, once check, amma. She will say like that only", said Vikram, while coming down.

"Vicky, I'm fine, baby. Don't get tensed. Now go and watch your favorite cartoons. I'll get snacks and chocolate milk for you by then. You guys also sit. I'll just come now", saying that, she left to the kitchen.

Vani went behind Anju, while Anitha and Shekar sat on the sofa.

"Is everything okay, Anju?" Asked Vani.

"Haa, vadina (sister-in-law), I'm fine. I'm telling you, right, it's just some work tension", said Anju, mixing the batter for pakoras.

"And do you really want me to believe you?" Vani asked, chopping the onions.

Anju stood still, listening to her. Whom can she fool with her words?

She sighed and told, "I'll tell you guys everything, but I need sometime, please."

Vani nodded her head and both of them started, preparing pakoras and tea for everyone, and Vikram's special chocolates milk. They came outside with the hot pakoras, and tea.

"Vicky here is your special chocolate milk, and also your favorite pakoras", said Vani.

"Thanks atta (aunt)", said Vikram.

They sat there talking, while having snacks and tea, when Siri came running inside.

She hugged Anju tightly and said, "Amma, how many times I've to tell you to take care of yourself. But no madam wants to do all the work by herself, taking all the stress. What will happen to us if something happens to you? We already lost dadda, amma. We can't lose you too", saying that, Siri burst into tears.

"Shh, Siri kanna, calm down. Look, your amma is fit and fine. Please stop crying, bacha. I promise, from now I'll take of myself. You know right, your dadda doesn't like when his little girl cries. Do you want to make him sad? Hmm", saying that, Anju kissed Siri's forehead.

But Siri didn't stop crying, instead she started to wail loudly. On seeing his sister, Vikram too started crying.

"Siri baby, stop crying. See, Vicky is also crying by looking at you. Shall I tell you a secret you amma? She is still afraid of injections and hates tonics. Even now she asks her doctor to prescribe her only medicines", said Anitha.

Siri chuckled and wiped off her tears. She looked at his little brother who was crying silently in Vani's arms. She went towards him and pulled him into a hug. She wiped off his tears and kissed his head lovingly, while Vicky pecked Siri's cheeks cutely making her smile. Elders sat there admiring the brother-sister duo.

In Port Blair:

The next morning, Maya and Avi were sleeping, cuddling each other. Avi snuggled more into Maya and hid his face in her neck as the naughty sunrays were disturbing his sleep. Maya slowly opened her eyes, and felt Avi's her breath fanning on her neck. She ruffled his hair and chuckled, looking at his pouty face. She tried to get up from the bed, but untangling herself from his hold is the most toughest thing. She sighed, and lied there silently caressing his hair.

After sometime Avi woke up from his beauty sleep and saw Maya lost somewhere. He bit her chin, giving a break to her thoughts.

"Ouch, what was that, idiot?" Maya asked him, pouting.

"About whom are you thinking, when your handsome hubby is your arms?" Avi asked, pecking her lips.

"About my little one", she said, pulling his nose.

"This boy is stealing your attention, already", said Avi, pouting.

"Stop being jealous of your own baby, Avi, and how can you be so sure that it's a boy?" Maya asked him.

"I just know it. And I want a baby boy first, then a baby girl. So that, my champ can protect his little sister", said Avi.

"OH! Seems like you have already done a lot planning", said Maya.

"Yupp!! Now give me my morning dose", he said, rubbing her lip with his thumb sensually.

"First, go and brush, then only you'll get your kiss", she said, swatting his hand.

She got down off the bed, and moved to the washroom, tying her hair into a bun. While Avi sat on the bed, pouting like a kid who lost his favorite candy. But he immediately ran after her, as she was throwing up again due to the morning sickness.

She stood there, leaning her head on his shoulder.

"Are you okay, bunny?" Avi asked, dropping a kiss on her head.

"Hmm", she said with a low voice.

He picked her in his arms and made her sit on the sink cabinet. He put paste on her brush, and started brushing her teeth. While she sat there, admiring the man in front of her. He never fails to amaze her with his love and care, making her fall in love with him deeply.

Both of them, came out in bathrobes after freshening-up. Soon both of them got ready and came out. Avi is preparing lemonade and toast for Maya in the kitchen, while she is back hugging him. He took her hand into his and kissed it.

She asked him, "Avi, you'll love me and pamper me like this, even after the arrival of baby, right."

"Of course, bunny. I'll love you and pamper you the same, even after the arrival of our grandkids. You'll always be my first baby, keep this thing in tiny brain. So just, shoo away those stupid thoughts", he said, pulling her in front of him, and kissed her forehead lovingly.

She closed her feeling his lips on her skin. She stood on her toes, and garlanded her arms around his neck, and took his lips into a soulful kiss, pouring all her love. While he picked her up and made her sit on the kitchen slab. He placed his hands on her waist, pulling her close to him, while she encircled her legs around him. Their tongues were fighting for the dominance, teasing each other. Both of them broke the kiss due to the alert of oxygen uncle, and joined their foreheads, panting hard. Avi hugged her tightly and kissed on her neck, while she tilted her head, giving him access to let him do whatever he wanted.

Their moment was broken by Arjun and Diya who came in search of them.

"Shit, we didn't see anything. For the Godsake, this is kitchen guys, not your bedroom", said Arjun, closing his eyes. While Diya turned around.

Maya immediately got down of the slab, and set her dress properly. She hid her face in Avi's chest embarrassed, trying her best to control the blush.

"Can we open our eyes now?" Arjun asked, peeping in between his fingers.

"Stop your drama and open your eyes, idiots", said Avi.

"And why do you always romance in the kitchen, when you have a bedroom with king-sized bed? And why do you always get caught to my poor innocent and virgin eyes?" Arjun said dramatically, making Diya chuckle.

"Even I'm asking you the same, why do you always come in the middle, not letting me romance with my wife properly? And what did you say, you and innocent, do you really want me to believe that you are innocent, hmm?" Avi asked Arjun, while serving the toast into a plate. Thank God, he put the gas in the low flame, otherwise toast would have burnt badly.

"Of course, I'm innocent, what do you say, cookie?" Arjun asked, looking at Diya.

"Yesterday you guys were kissing as your whole life was depended on that kiss, forgetting that you guys were in the beach. So, zip your mouth and move from here", said Avi.

"Arey, it's cookie who kissed me, not me. Of course, I kissed her back later, that's another thing", before he could blabber more, Diya dragged him from there.

"Arey, cookie, why are you dragging your poor husband?" Asked Arjun.

Diya glared at him, telling him to shut his mouth. Arjun put finger on his lips seeing her big eyes.

Maya chuckled, looking at her brother, while eating her toast.

"You should help your brother, not laugh at him when your vadina (sister-in-law) is scolding him", said Arjun, glaring at Maya.

"Stop glaring at her. You are saying something before, what is that?"Diya asked Arjun, folding her hands.

"Arey, what did I say?" He said, giving her an innocent look. "OH, I got it. You mean about the kiss. It's true na. It's you who kissed me first."

"Didn't you kiss me after that?" Said Diya.

While Maya sat on the couch comfortably, enjoying their cute fight while having the breakfast made by her hubby.

"Ajju, Diya, come and have your breakfast. Then you can fight regarding who kissed whom", said Avi.

"I'm coming", saying that, Arjun quickly left from the living room.

Diya went behind him, took her plate, and came back to the living room, not before stomping Arjun's leg hard, making him wince.

Avi shook his head at them and sat beside Maya.

"Did you guys pack your bags?" Asked Avi.

"Yeah!" Said Arjun.

"Good, we will be leaving in an hour", said Avi, while having his French toast.

"By the way, are we going by the road, or water, or air?" Asked Arjun.

"Three of us are going by cruise, but I don't know about you", said Avi, shrugging his shoulders.

"What do you mean by that?" Arjun asked Avi, narrowing his eyes.

"If you ask me stupid questions, then I'll book your return ticket. Three of us will enjoy our vacation here, you can back home and romance with your laptop. Stupid boy, firstly, you spoiled my romance with my wifey. Now you are eating my brain by asking stupid questions. Can't you sit silently and eat?" Avi said to Arjun, making him zip his mouth.

Maya and Diya burst into laugher, looking at Arjun's face.

Diya was checking her things, when Arjun came inside the room and pulled her hard, making her bang on his chest.

Diya shut her eyes and clutched Arjun shirt's collar in fear due to the sudden pull. Arjun tucked her hair, Diya opened her eyes and looked into his eyes. He looked at her intensely and took her lips into a passionate kiss. Her hands made her way to his hair, while he encircled her hands around her waist. He broke the kiss when he felt she couldn't take more. She hugged him tight, both of them stayed like that, until they were disturbed by a knock on the door.

"Come out fast, putting a break to your romance", shouted Avi from outside.

Arjun and Diya came outside and saw Avi and Maya waiting for them in the parking. They loaded their luggage in the trunk and got inside the car.

Taara greeted the receptionist at Veeru's office, and who in return gave her a warm smile. She enquired her about him and made her way towards his cabin which is in the 7th floor. She doesn't have much work today, so she thought to surprise him. Though she loves her loose tees and baggy jeans, she wore a saree today for him. She wore a plain ivory saree and paired with white floral printed blouse. She wore a simple mangalsutra and complimented it with big jhumkas. Her one hand was adorned with red glass bangles, and other one with on her favorite watches. She left her hair open, and the hairline was filled with vermilion. Her grandmother would really faint by looking at her like this.

Chuckling at her thoughts, Taara came out of the private lift and was about to go inside Veeru's cabin, when a girl in her mid twenties stopped her. Taara raised her eyebrow and asked her what.

"You just can't go inside like that without my permission", said that girl rudely.

"Do you know who I'm?" Said Taara in the same tone.

"I don't care, must be some middle class bhehenji trying to trap my sir", she said, looking Taara from top to bottom.

Taara gave her whatever look and dialed Veeru's number. Before Veeru could say anything, she told him to come out of his cabin immediately.

Veeru came out of his cabin and saw Taara glaring at his new PA.

"What's going on here Miss. Annie?" He asked her PA.

"I didn't do anything sir, but this girl tried to enter your cabin without any appointment and shouting on me", she said, glaring at Taara.

"Why does she need some stupid appointment to meet her husband?" Veeru said, glaring at his PA.

"Husband?? Come on, sir, I never knew your taste was this bad. Did you really marry this girl?" Annie said, throwing a disgusting look at Taara.

This time Taara couldn't control her anger and gave her a hard slap. "Look Miss, firstly, you are his PA. So stay in your limits and don't poke your nose in unnecessary matters. And secondly, I hate it, when someone look at what is mine, I hope you understand. Thirdly, don't judge a book by it's cover. By the way, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Mrs. Taara Veerendra Murty, CMO of Varma group of industries. And last and finally, you are fired", saying that, she dragged Veeru inside his cabin.

"Woah! Tiger calm down, that much possessiveness for your hubby, hmm", Veeru said, back hugging Taara.

She punched him in stomach with her elbow, making him yelp, and came out of the hug.

"Wild lady, what did I do?" Veeru asked, pouting.

"Why do you appoint only females as your PA's every time, why not male candidates?" Taara said, glaring at him.

"Arey, but she is efficient in her work", Veeru said, giving her a nervous smile.
