After having their lunch, the four of them sat in the living room, watching a movie. Both the couples were sitting on the floor and cuddling.

Maya yawned cutely and snuggled more into Avi. He pecked her head and patted her, soon, she drifted into peaceful slumber.

"Did she sleep?" Asked Arjun.

"Haa", said Avi.

"Anna, go and make her sleep properly on the bed", said Diya.

Avi nodded his head, and picked up Maya in his arms. He made her sleep on the bed, and covered her with the quilt.

He was about to go, when she held his hand and said, pouting, "I want cuddles."

He chuckled, listening to her and said, "I'll just come."

He moved out of the bedroom and saw Arjun and Diya, who were snuggling into each other and talking.

He switched off the TV and said, "Go and sleep in the other room. In the evening we will go to your resort and pack your bags and then we will go out for dinner."

They nodded their heads and moved to the other room. Avi filled water bottle, and took to his room. He locked the door, and saw Maya sitting on the bed waiting for him with a cute pout on her face. He shook his head at her craziness and moved towards her.

He lay down on the bed and pulled her into his arms. He covered them with the quilt and soon both of them fell asleep.

Anjali was cleaning her closet, when her eyes fell on a box in the locker. She tried to open the box, but it had a lock. She stood there, thinking for a while, as she remembered that Aditya had once told her that the box had some important files in it. Suddenly, she remembered something, and started searching for that in the locker.

Finally, she got the diary of Aditya. She unlocked the dairy, and opened it. Her eyes brimmed with tears, looking at their family picture. It was taken before a month of his death. She wiped her tears and started, flipping pages.

She started, reading each page with a heavy heart. It was becoming difficult for her.

Hey love,

I'm sorry for breaking my promise, and leaving you all alone. I have promised to be with you for a lifetime, but then I had to leave. I had to leave you in the middle, handling all the responsibilities to you. Today I want to tell you something, something which is going to change our lives upside down. But promise me that, you'll be my strong Anju.

You know, Anu, I have always dreamt of doing something which I love, and that's dancing. But my parents were against it. They told me that they would accept you, if I left my dream and follow their words. They wanted me to join our family business. For me, nothing was more important than you. So, I started, taking care of our family business after completing my masters. And after a year, my parents agreed to our marriage, and I was really happy on that day.

The day we got married was the most memorable day of my life.

Do you want to know, why I'm attached to Maya of all the kids, even more than our children? Because she resembles you. Her innocence, her naughtiness, her cuteness, everything of her resembles you. That's why, she was my first kid and will always be.

My parents were never happy with our relationship. I thought one day they would accept you whole-heartedly. So, when they agreed to our marriage, I was literally on cloud nine. But I didn't know that it was all a facade. It was a facade which we thought it to be true all these years. I didn't know that until a few months back.

That day was the biggest blow of my life. I didn't even get broken on the day I came to know about my cancer.

Flashback:

Aditya's POV:

I always wanted to ask Rishi Anna and Sakshi vadina, why they had changed. Why were they ignoring their children and making them suffer? I wanted to make everything settled between them and their kids, before I leave the world. Mostly, my princess, she suffered a lot, Anju. I've seen it with my eyes, she has faced so much at an young age. So, I thought to confess them.

I have called them, and told them that I've to discuss something important with them. They told me to meet at Arya, and told that no one should know about our meeting. I was confused, but agreed to their words.

I was waiting for Rishi Anna and Sakshi vadina in their cabin in Arya which is highly secured. I was getting negative vibes as if something bad was going to happen. But then, I chucked my thoughts as Rishi Anna and Sakshi Vadina entered the cabin. They looked tensed, and they had a file in their hands.

"Anna is everything okay?" I asked Rishi Anna.

They both dragged me into a secret chamber which was attached to their cabin. I was shocked, looking at it.

"Why this secret chamber?" I asked them.

"We will answer your every question, Adi. But before that promise us that you will listen our POV clearly, and will not get angry", said Sakshi.

"Guys, you are making me tensed", I said, looking at them.

They took a deep breath, and looked at each other. And the next moment, I stood rooted in my place, listening to the voices. And after reading the texts in their mobile, and looking at the files.

I still couldn't believe that they have done all this.

"Why?" That's the only word left from my mouth.

"I know it is hard to believe us, but that's true, Adi. We are carrying this burden for the past nine years. I know, you might ask us, why didn't we tell you guys earlier? We tried to tell you many times, but our every movement was being monitored. Did you remember five years ago Anju was met with an accident?" said Sakshi vadina.

I nodded my head positively. How could I forget that day in my life? For a moment my breath got hitched, and I fell unconscious on listening about her accident. Doctors had to remove her uterus as she got a big injury on her lower abdomen. And she was bedridden for three months.

"It was planned by them. They threatened and blackmailed us that it was just a trailer. Because their men heard us talking with the police about them. They warned us, they would kill our family, if we told about them to anyone. We have all the proofs against them, but we are helpless, Adi.

Why would I ignore my babies, when they are my life? I knew the struggle, I went through to bring them into this world. My ammu, she was so fragile when she was born. I couldn't even touch her properly for almost a month. She was my little princess, and my little fighter who fought with the death. And my Nandu, he is the surprise gift showered by the God in our life", she fell down on her knees, crying loudly. Rishi Anna sat beside her, and took her into a hug.

"Then why are you being harsh on your kids? Why have you stopped, spending your time with them and shower your love on them? Why are you opposing their dreams? Why?" I asked them, raising my voice.

"Because their life is in danger, Adi. Your mother threatened to kill my children. She warned us that we should stop caring of our children. At first, we didn't pay attention to her threats, but then one day my Nandu was kidnapped. He did not come back from the school, along with Maya. Maya came inside the house, crying. She told us that she didn't find Nandu in the entire school. We called the school administration. Do you know what they have told us? They told us, we have sent one of our family member to the school with a note, which had our signature on it, asking them to send Nandan with them, as we had some emergency at the home. And they have sent Nandan along with them, without even confirming.

And then, we got a text from a private number. They threatened to kill my son, if we inform to the police, or the other family members. Even mavayya was not there with us to handle the situation. They have dropped Nandu at the home around 11 O' click in the night. He was just 9 years old kid, Adi. What wrong did he do? From then, he was afraid of darkness. We have appointed bodyguards around them, secretly. Not only them, there are our bodyguards around our every family member.

Do you want to know, why your parents were targetting my family? Then let me tell you, we were not this powerful in the start, Adi. Yes, we are rich, but not as rich and powerful as your family. But my father and uncle's are known for their goodness. They would be the first ones in the village to help the people in need. They have really worked hard to provide us everything. We are happy in our little world.

Your father wanted to open a chemical factory outside the village. Yes, it may provide employment to the local people, but it would harm the atmosphere, and pollute the agricultural lands and water around. Everyone are against it. Because already the farmers around are facing losses and many sacrificed their lives. All the farmers started to protest against it.

So, your father approached the court, and used all his money. But they couldn't win, you know why, because my mother Revathi Harinath Reddy doesn't have the word "defeat" in her dictionary. You don't know right, my mother is a lawyer. But she left her profession after that case.

Your family already hate ours, for the fame we have in the people, and that case just added the fuel to the fire. And then you fell in love with my sister. So, when Anju told us about your love, we thought you wanted take the revenge. So, we were reluctant to accept you at the start. Slowly, we understood that you were not like your parents. But then another question have arised, will your parents accept our Anju, and treat her good? And then suddenly, one day your parents came to our home to ask my sister's hand, and asked forgiveness for all their past deeds.

We were astonished, seeing the change in them. One side, both of you love each other truly, on the other side, your parents. We didn't understand, what to do, because people would think that we had joined our hands with your parents. Then your father told in our kuldevi's temple that he would shut down all his chemical factories which are harmful to the surroundings in front of all the people.

And your uncle and aunt promised us that they would take care of Anju. So, we accepted for your marriage eventually. We never got any complaint from Anju. Even our men told that, you both were happy in your life."

"I have a doubt, why are they targeting only your family? Why not the others?" I asked them.

"I'll tell you, Adi. First thing is, it's Revathi atta, who won the case against your father", said Rishi anna.

"Then what is second one?" I asked them.

"Me", said Sakshi.

"What?" I yelled.

"Yes, it's me. Do you know, why your elder brother Preetam have died?" Sakshi vadina asked me.

"He loved a girl during his college, but that girl rejected him. So, he committed suicide unable to face the rejection", I said, remembering my elder brother.

"And that girl was me", said Sakshi vadina.

I looked at her shocked.

"Yes, your brother Preetam was my senior. I never saw him until the day, when he came in front of me and proposed to me. I rejected him, and told him that I was already engaged. Because I was already engaged to Rishi by that time. And the next day, I got the news that your brother had committed suicide. I felt guilty, but then there was no mistake of mine. I never loved your brother, what could I do, if he couldn't take the rejection? That's why, your mother wanted to take revenge from me. She knew, Anju and my kids are my weakness, that's why she started to play with my weakness" said Sakshi vadina, chuckling.

Her words shook me to the core.

"Nine years, Adi. For the past nine years we are carrying this burden with us. We couldn't share this with anyone, because your mother appointed some people around us. She knows each and every small thing that is happening around us. That's why, we chose to remain silent. But remember, this is the silence before the storm.

She was blackmailing us, using Anju's private pictures. Our one wrong move costs many things, Adi. We have told you to come here because this is highly secured. We told my father and uncle to hide about they being the owners of this company for the same purpose, security reasons. Because this is built for a purpose. To provide healthy food without any chemicals for everyone, and to bring profits for the farmers.

That's why, I gave all my rights of this company to Jai, increasing his responsibilities. Because I don't want your parents to know about our family owns Arya. That's why, I even told you to hide about Arya from your parents. Do you know, why we have said no, when Maya said she wanted to pursue her dream? Her life is at threat, at that moment. Your mother's men were aiming at my daughter. She sent that video to us. That why, we forced her to join in the stream which she hated. We didn't have any option left with us.

On that day, Maya's school principal had informed us about what happened in the school. We were on our way to the hospital, but then, your mother threatened us to go back. But we didn't listen to her, then she warned us that she would send her men inside the hospital and kill my baby. We went back without having any option. That's why, we told you that we couldn't come to the hospital. We punished that boy's family before you did" said Rishi Anna, his eyes were spitting fire.

"You don't know, about your parents true nature, Adi, because you grew up with your aunt and uncle. They are like chameleon, they would do anything which would bring profits for them. Do you know, they are making duplicate tablets which are harmful to the people? In the start, Medicare used to buy most of the medicines made by your father's pharma company. One day, I came across those medicines and performed tests. That's how, I came to know about them, but I could not tell this directly to Anita and Janaki. So, I have sent an anonymous mail to them with all the proofs. Vijay and his team (Suhaas and Pranav's father who is an IAS officer) helped us in shutting the company. But we made sure that their names didn't come out.

We along with Vijay are collecting all the proofs against your parents. Yes, it might take some more time to put them behind the bars. But, we will definitely bring justice to all those people who have suffered because of your family. We are working from the base, and making sure that our family is safe and secure. Now, you might have got doubt, didn't your parent's men followed us here. No, they didn't, because according to them we were in our respective offices. That's why we told to meet you here.

For the world, we are just some employees in some XYZ companies, but we are the founders of "Infinity group of industries". Once my mother-in-law told me we should not leave our dreams, just because someone threatened us. It was managed by our trustworthy people. We never stepped in that office, but we monitor everything from here.

This all might sound like a movie for you, Adi. But remember, if there is good in this world, then there is bad too. We are not any great people, but we fought for the good, which irked your parents.

Everyone in this are selfish, even us. We chose our family safety first otherwise, your parents might have been in the prison right now. I already lost my one baby, I can't loose the others too. On one hand, it's my sister Anju, we were born from the same womb, on the other hand, it's my children who came out in this world from my womb.

Do you think, we are happy by seeing our children's suffering? On one hand, I saw my champ panicking in the darkness. And other hand, my princess was seeking comfort from the same darkness. It's not easy, Adi. Everyday is a battle for us. We don't know, who is appointed by your parents. We are getting tired with all this, but then we have to fight", said Sakshi vadina.

Both of them were badly broken. And the reason is my parents and also us. Yes, even we are reason for their pain. Being the family, we failed to see what they are going through. Though I have many questions running in my mind, neither I couldn ask them more, nor I had the strength to bear them.

I badly wanted to confront my parents and shout at them, why they did all this. But then, all the hard work done by Rishi Anna, Sakshi vadina and Vijay would go vain. I know, they will definitely win one day. But I may not able see that. Because my time is nearing.

Apologize to your sister and your brother-in-law, for misunderstanding them. We thought, they were running behind their careers, and got habituated to the mechanical life, forgetting their own family. But they stood as a shield, protecting their family from the bad.

I know, you might have a doubt, didn't they get any chance to tell about all these to the family? But stand in their position and think. Even I would have done the same.

Right now, don't do anything stupid. Wait for the right time and then confront them. That box all the evidences against them which I had collected. Keep that safe. Please, keep our children away from my parents.

And about Preetam, he is my elder brother. I didn't have many memories with him, as I grew up with my aunt and uncle. That is my father's elder brother and his wife. They don't have kids, so they wanted to adopted a child. And my parents gave me when I was just a 2-year-old, because they don't want to lose their share of property to someone else. And I'm really thankful for that, because they are not selfish and money-minded like my parents.

Just remember one thing Anju, I love you and my children a lot. Tell them the same and please take care of yourself.
