Hello
Sorry for making you all wait.
.
.
Avi and Maya were lying on the small bed on the balcony. Maya was sleeping peacefully in Avi's arms, lying her head on his chest. But Avi is wide awake and staring at the dark sky blankly. A lot of thoughts are running in his mind. He felt exhausted with the events of the whole day. Even those twinkling stars are not able to calm the storm inside his heart as they do every time. His heart shattered listening to the pain she had gone through. He didn't even realise when a few tears left his eyes.
When she was saying about her past, he felt as if he was getting to know a whole new person. He never even in his dreams thought that his atta and mamayya would do such a thing. Yes, he knew about them putting pressure on Maya and Nandan. Be it regarding their career or in her marriage issue. And how could they trust some outsiders over their daughter? And they want her to give her divorce to him. Hell, he would never let anyone separate her from him. Are they mad or what? Is marriage a child game or what? Don't they know the value of marriage? He was totally disappointed with them.
True, they were happy as kids, as she said.
Arjun slept on the ground by lying his head in Savitri's lap to tease Maya. While Maya was glaring at him. Radha was feeding Arpita, Yahvi and Sravya. Avi was telling Arjun to get up as he knew the consequences. Jaya was feeding Nandan, Avi and Yash by narrating them a story.
(Radha and Raghuram are grandparents of Yash
Narayan and Sarika - Parents of Yash
Yahvi - Twin sister of Yash
Narayan, Sarika and Yahvi died in an accident when Yash was 14)
Suddenly, Maya's eyes twinkled with a mischievous glint. She slowly tiptoed to his room. She searched for his school bag and found it lying on the study table. She smiled wickedly and took his maths books along with her and hid them in a secret place in her room. She knew his maths teacher would always search for a mistake in him as he never liked him. She went and sat in front of Jaya opening her mouth, gesturing her to feed innocently. Jaya chuckled looking at her and started to feed her. She knew her granddaughter had done some mischief by looking at her.

Arjun got up from Savitri's lap and looked at his sister with a frown. He went and sat beside her and poked her cheeks. But she didn't pay any heed to him and was keenly listening to Jaya who was telling the story of the King and his seven sons. Arjun pouted seeing her not paying attention to him.
After dinner, Arjun dragged Avi to Sravya and Maya's room with him. Sravya was fast asleep cuddling her pikachu soft toy. Maya was sitting on the study table busy in drawing something in her book. Arjun and Avi looked at each other and grinned. They picked up Maya in their arms who got scared at the sudden movement. They took her to their favourite spot on the terrace and placed an ice-cream tub in front of her. She hugged both of them tightly and kissed them on their cheeks. Arjun was feeding Maya her favourite ice-cream. While Avi got lost in her face who was making cute faces whenever Arjun ate the ice-cream.
After finishing the ice-cream, she rubbed her mouth to Avi's shirt and grinned at him. He chuckled at her antics and pulled her in his lap. She sat comfortably in his lap and leaned her head on his chest and started playing with the chain in his neck. She was blabbering about something while Avi was listening to her keenly as if she was saying something important.
While Arjun was pulling her hair or poking her cheeks to irritate her. Maya glared at him and complained to Avi cutely to scold him. By seeing Avi's glare, Arjun ran away to his room leaving both of them. Soon both of them slept peacefully in each other arms.
Revathi and Sarika who went to give milk to the kids found Avi and Maya were missing. They came to the terrace after searching for them everywhere in the house and found them sleeping peacefully cuddling eachother. Avi was sitting by leaning his back to the wall and holding Maya tightly who was sitting in his lap. Maya was sleeping by leaning her head on his chest and clutched the collar of his shirt tightly in her small fist and was pouting cutely in her sleep. They were aww by looking at them.

Revathi slowly picked up Maya in her arms. Avi stirred in his sleep and woke up as he felt someone was taking his bunny away from him. He immediately opened his eyes and looked at his aunt and grandmother. He gestured to Sarika to pick him up while she picked him up in her arms.
God! You are so heavy Kittu.
Avi gave her a cheeky smile and told her,
Of course, I'm a big boy now.
Revathi and Sarika laughed listening to him. They went to Avi and Arjun's room and made her sleep beside Arjun. Avi slept beside her while she hugged him tightly in her sleep as if sensing his presence. They covered the three with comforter and left the room not before kissing three of their foreheads.
Next day his maths teacher scolded Arjun for not bringing his books to the class. Maya giggled looking at that scene from the window of Arjun's class room. While Avi was looking around to see if anyone was coming that way or not. She got angry when that teacher beat Arjun on his hands. She looked around, and noticed no one was coming. She looked at the time in Avi's watch and smiled mischievously. She checked her lunch basket and took out the banana and smirked evilly. She ate the banana and threw the peel at the entrance of the classroom. She dragged Avi from there and stood in the corner of the corridor.
Soon the bell rang and the class got over. That teacher stepped on the banana peel without looking down, making him land on the ground on his round belly. His wig fell down from his head, revealing his bald head. Everyone burst out laughing looking at him. While that teacher got embarrassed.
While our little Avi looked at his bunny in shock and thought "Oh God! Such a devil she is". He dragged her with him before someone could notice them.
--End
How bubbly and naughty was she as a kid? He wondered if he would ever get that little girl back who lived her life fully. How much pain does she have hidden within her? Will he be able to heal her and remove those scars of her past? What if he failed?
Yes, he was angry and hurt with her. And he definitely needs his space to calm his messed-up mind. But he also knows that she needs him beside her. All these days she fought her battle alone, but now he would be with her. And he will make sure that Rajesh and co get the deserved punishment. Even his bunny needed some punishment for hiding all these things within her without thinking about the further consequences.
But a question has risen in his mind. Will he be able to mend the things between Maya and her parents? He knows they are wrong, but everyone deserves a second chance. And, no-one knows their perspective. Let's think they have realised their mistake, but will Maya be able to trust them and forgive them whole heartedly forgetting all her pain?
He sighed and closed his eyes. Soon he drifted into sleep as he was tired both physically and emotionally.
So, how was the update. I know it was short but please bear me for this time.
Do you have any ideas about what kind of punishment Rajesh should be given?

Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
8 126Rewound and Rewritten
How many times have you wished you'd done things differently? Made better choices, put in more effort or worked towards a different goal altogether? But unfortunately, you know life doesn't work that way, thus you have to treat and treasure every moment as if it were your last, lest you leave behind any regrets. But if you were truly given a second chance, if time was actually rewound... would you really act upon those goals?? Potentially rewriting your fate, and that of those around you?? This is one my first stories, so kindly excuse my grammar. I don't own the cover pic, so if the owner has an issue then please PM me, I'll take it down...
