《Marrying my Opposite》66- Poor Pillow Family

Tanya's POV:
When I had confessed my love or rather say blurted it out; I never thought that it would ever be reciprocated. But it did. IT DID.
'Raghav loves me too'. I wanted to jump up and down out of happiness. He loved me. Yes! Yes! Yes!
"I am so sorry for saying this in the plainest way possible. I actually wanted to do something sweet for you while expressing but...", Raghav spoke sheepishly.
"The way doesn't really matter. It is enough for me that you love me. This confession wasn't plain, but very very special", I assured him.
"Are you sure? You seem to be a type who like grand things". Raghav still looked unconvinced.
"Hmmm, so do you want to go on your knees and propose me?" I asked with raised eyebrows.
The look on his face was hillarious. I also felt a little sorry for him yet I couldn't help but burst out laughing. He looked so uncomfortable that it was so cute.
"Breathe. I was just kidding", I whispered, patting his heart.
"I...I can try if that's your wish", he tried to look confident but he failed miserably.
"Instead of that tell me when did you realize", I gave out a bargain.
His relieved smile was to die for. Oh! My sweet sweet nervous husband.
We both went to sit on the bed as he prepared his answer.
"I am not sure when it started but I was sure when we were on the beach. Havelock Island was the place I realized my love for you", he answered, joining our hands.
"No wonder you couldn't tell me", I remarked, remembering what happened at the end.
"Wait a minute! Where you already in love with me when..."
This was unbelievable!! I thought I tricked him with a peck on his cheeks but instead I was the one who was being played.
"I was so worried. You probably laughed at my condition. You are so bad".
I started hitting him softly with my hands. He totally made a fool of me.
"I didn't do anything. It was all you", Raghav laughed, making me increase the speed of my hits.

He caught my wrists midway, making my heart beat faster than the bullet train.
"Let me make up for it", he said in a slow voice, before softly pecking my cheeks.
He looked me with loving eyes as I sat there like a statue, albeit a blushing one.
"So about the honeymoon?" He asked.
I didn't think it was possible for me to blush even harder, but it did. My cheeks were on fire.
I slowly nodded, not having the courage to speak up.
"Man, look at you. You literally took the 360° turn. Until now, you were making fun of me but now you are getting so shy", Raghav chuckled.
In response, he received a flying pillow on his face.
He threw it back at me, and we started hitting each other. We just couldn't handle being romantic for more than few minutes. We seriously didn't have a romantic bone inside us.
As our fight continued, I started feeling sorry for the pillow. No one in our house let him or his family alone to rest. We always dragged the whole pillow family in our banters. Rest in peace!!

I started packing for my honeymoon. It baffled me how fast the twins worked. It wasn't even a day when Raghav asked me about it, and the next day Rishi had prepared everything from the tickets to hotel.
We were going for ten days. Raghav wanted to go for more days but I couldn't find a substitute teacher for more than ten days. I called in favour from my friend Shweta, whom I got reunited with when we were gone to the another town. Because of Dad's fiasco, I had already closed the academy for so many days and doing it again would cause me my students.
We were going to a nearby hill station, so that we wouldn't waste more days in travelling. Of course, the selected place was awesome. It was just little near than the extravagant honeymoon Rishi wanted for us.
I came out of my thoughts when Trisha knocked on the door.
"You don't have to knock. Come in fast", I ushered her inside excitedly.
"I brought you some gifts", she said, dangling three shopping bags in front of face.

I snatched them excitedly, wanting to see what it was. To say I was stumped was an understatement.
"How is it? Do you like it? I brought them in both your and Raghav's favourite colours", Trisha asked.
Not receiving an immediate answer, she hurriedly explained herself. "You can buy more of your choice. I bought these just in case you didn't get the time to buy anything".
Yep, she brought me the honeymoon special, 'Exciting' clothes.
"Thank you. They are awesome", I spoke, trying to look happy.
However I was far from happy. No, not because she brought these for me. Infact I was glad she did, or else I would have never prepared for this situation.
Seeing Trisha's gift made me remember and face palm myself. I was going on a honeymoon yet I forgot about this major detail.
I wasn't ready. Most of all the first steps in our relationship were taken by me, yet I didn't feel ready for this step.
Thinking to share my dilemma with Trisha, I turned towards her but then diverted the topic. It was better to discuss this with Raghav itself. There was no need to drag anyone else in our personal matters. Plus I didn't know how much was okay to share as Trisha was not only my best friend but also Raghav's sister.
After helping me pack, Trisha left. Not before teasing me at every possible second.
I paced around the room, waiting for Raghav to come back. As seconds passed by, I grew more and more nervous to convey it to him. He was so excited, I didn't want to ruin this for him. But I really didn't feel ready.
"Woah! What's wrong?" Raghav asked upon entering the room.
One look at my fidgety form and he was already concerned. He took so much care of me and yet I couldn't...no this isn't a matter of feeling guilty.
'Take deep breathes Tanya and explain it to me. He will understand...Hopefully'.
"Raghav, actually...I know you are going to get disappointed but...shit!! See I know we love each other and yet I am saying this. This is bound to make you feel disappointed or angry...I don't know...Just try to understand..."
"Tanya, Tanya stop". He stopped me by gently touching my shoulders.
"First take a breath. In all those ramblings you forgot to breathe", he requested after making me sit on the bed.
I took huge gulps of air, before calming down a little.
"Now slowly tell me what you want to say", he guided me, "And directly please. Don't beat around the bush".
"About the honeymoon", I fumbled.
He nodded at me slowly, gently urging me to go on.
"I...I don't think I am ready for the next step", I finally managed to speak up.
He sighed, making me panic that I ruined his mood but Raghav again astonished me with his understanding nature.
"I don't understand why are you panicking. Honeymoon isn't just about getting physical. It will happen when it has to happen. Why are you getting scared because of it? Let's just go with the flow.
"Don't stress yourself about it. We are going there to enjoy and get close to each other. By close, it doesn't necessarily mean physically. If it happens- good, if not- then we have plenty of life remaining for it.
"I want you to enjoy yourself. If you are scared and worried about this for the whole time, then the main reason of taking you to the honeymoon will get destroyed.
"Just be happy Tanya, I don't want anything else from you".
That's it. It was confirmed. Raghav wasn't a human being. He was an Angel sent to Earth; that too only for me.
A lone tear escaped my eyes, making Raghavs scared.
"Did I...did I say something wrong?" He asked worriedly.
"Sorry I just spoke whatever came to my heart. I didn't stop analyze. Please stop crying. I will take back the words", he rambled on with worry.
I shook my head at him, before moving to stop his ramble. It was effective. His rambling immediately stopped as soon as my lips gently touched his.
I touched his cheeks as our lips slowly moved, his sweetness getting mixed with my salty tears, enhancing the flavour.
