《Marrying my Opposite》2- Destination Wedding

Raghav's POV:
We all were just about to leave after breakfast but mom stopped us.
"Rishi, call Nikhil and his parents. Let's discuss about your marriage today itself".
Giving me a side glance, she continued, "Who knows, when your brother would take off again. It is better to finalize when everyone is present here".
Everyone else chuckled as I let out a cough at my mom's not so subtle taunt.
"Trisha, call Samar as well", Dad spoke.
I immediately started looking for any obstacle between the door and the couch. Samar didn't like any of us guiding him as he prided in being independent despite his blindness. Hence, we all tried our best to not help him outrightly, so that he would be safe and yet his pride would remain intact.
"Raghav, let's move the side table. Samar had clashed into it last time", Rishi suggested.
"No, let it be", Trisha denied. "He has counted everything and if you move anything then he will lose all his calculations".
"Oops". Mom looked at Trisha sheepishly. Receiving a confused glance from Trisha, Mom explained, "I had shifted the side table a little, last time. No wonder, Samar got hurt. Sorry Trisha".
"Really? I didn't even notice", Trisha mumbled in astonishment.
Even I was confused as none of us had noticed the change. The table was at its usual place.
"I moved it a little away. It was just a minor change", Mom spoke feebly.
"The minor things that aren't visible to us can cause a major miscalculation in Samar's counts. We need to take care of these situations", I commented, remembering how awkward Samar felt the entire time he was here, after his fall.
"Don't worry too much. Just let me know if you all change something in this house", Trisha said with a smile.

Everyone had gathered around in a short notice. The Elders and the couple- Rishi and Nikhil sat on the couch while we sat on the floor, due to lack of space.
Passing out water and snacks, we all sat with excitement. Usually, family meetings scared us but this was something we all were excited for.
"Seeing that we don't have any relatives or friends from any of our side, and neither can we get marriage certificate, I think we should just conclude it with a small ring ceremony", Nikhil spoke with a sigh.
All the excitement evaporated as we remembered that there was no one else to join our happiness. We all nodded in agreement for his idea, but Samar interjected.
"Who cares if there are no relatives or friends? Either way they all just come for food", Samar intervened, getting a laugh out of everyone as food was mentioned.
With a calm and comforting smile on his face, Samar advised, "You both are going to start a new chapter of your life, that too with someone you love dearly. I think you should enjoy every single part of it".
"I agree with Samar. We will have the best wedding anyone could dream off". Rishi clasped his hands with excitement.
Seeing his excitement, an idea came to my mind.
"How about a destination wedding?" I suggested.
The loud cheers, enough to break my ear drums was a clear answer to my suggestion.
"The cost...", Nikhil's father trailed off in worry.
"Don't worry about it. We will pay for everything", Dad reassured.
"We may not be as rich, but we will like to give our share. After all, Nikhil is our only son", Nikhil's mom refused the offer politely.
"As it is only family with no relatives, the cost would be considerably less", I said, trying to ease out their tension.

"Nikhil and I would plan everything under the budget. Trust us and enjoy thoroughly", Rishi assured them with confidence before going to hug Nikhil's mom.
"I trust you", she whispered, patting his head affectionately.
"Should we start planning? There's lot to plan- food, clothes, so many much more", Mom asked, looking at us with excitement.
"Everything will be decided according to the place. So at first we need to decide the destination. Any ideas? Rishi? Nikhil?" Trisha asked looking at them with raised eyebrows.
Both of them looked at us with blank faces. I shook my head with a sigh, and ordered, "Take out the mobiles and start searching".
"You all start, I need to call Tanya first", Trisha spoke standing up.
"She is also invited?!" I asked in shock.
"Tanya is my closest friend. Moreover, Tanya and Trisha where the only people who stayed by my side, after I came out of the closet. The wedding would be incomplete without her", Nikhil spoke with an uneasy look.
"Don't get bothered by him. You know Raghav has always despised Tanya. Just ignore him", Rishi tried to comfort him, while throwing me under the bus.
"I never said that you shouldn't invite her. I was just asking", I spoke through gritted teeth.
"Okay, okay settle down kids", Mom spoke sternly, quietening everyone.
"I will come after calling Tanya and her presence would help us more". Trisha glared at me while saying 'help us', before continuing her sentence, "As she has been planning her fairytale wedding since childhood".
"Yeah, I hope she doesn't mind us stealing one of her dozen ideas", Nikhil agreed with a laugh.
"Don't get so agitated, Raghav. Tanya may be an idiot while dealing with things but she is not a bad person", Samar whispered.
"Hmm?" I looked at him with shock as to how he understood that I was agitated.
"Your angry sighs are audible to me", he explained with a chuckle.
We spoke for a while but then I stood up as Trisha wasn't back yet.
"I will be back", I told Samar before going out.
I just stepped outside when I saw Trisha coming back from somewhere.
"Did you go somewhere?" I asked curiously.
"Tanya wasn't picking the calls so I went to her home but her home is locked too", Trisha answered, biting her nails in worry.
"Don't worry. They must have gone somewhere", I said.
"But the whole family hasn't gone anywhere after that incident. What if something happened?"
"Trisha, stop worrying. Nothing has happened. In fact, it is for better. For how long they would have remained cooped up in their house. They must have gone somewhere to enjoy. And Tanya must have switched off her home so that no one would destroy their happy time", I assured her.
"You think so?" Trisha asked in a hopeful tone.
"I know so", I replied and took her inside.
