《He Finally Cares》The Endless Pain Of Sylvia

*One Week Later*
"Ready for school?" Darry asked for like the 500th time.
No one else new about the little conversation with Randy but me. No one knows about the things he said. I thought that instead of going through the same hell as before, I would do some things to change my life. Like I lost 15 pounds in the last week and still losing more. I gave myself side bangs covering half of my face.
I don't feel any better about myself though. I feel like instead of getting skinnier, I am getting fatter. So I put on sweatpants and a baggy t with a sweatshirt on and head down the stairs.
When I reached the bottom, Darry paused and looked at me.
"What, no leather jacket or shorts or something?"
I shook my head and grabbed my books.
"See you later Dar!"
I ran out the door, without any lunch and met up with Dally at the Dingo.
"Hey." He mumbled as he pulled me in for a kiss.
"Hey."
He looked me up and down confused.
"What, no leather jacket?"
I shook my head as we.started walking.
Once we reached the school, he kissed me goodbye and walked away. I was so much earlier than everyone else, so there was no one here except the office ladies.
I walked in and found the office right away to the left. I went up to the lady at the window and told her my name. She told me that I was really early and gave me a funny look when I told her I didn't care. She shrugged and gave me my schedule.
I walked away after her giving a verbal 20 minute tour of the school to find that it was full of kids. I hurried to my locker and shoved everything but my math book in there. I hurried of to my math class and went up to the teacher.

"Hi, I'm Rylee. The new student."
She looked up from her desk and sighed.
"Class this is Rylee Curtis. She is our new student from Alabama. You can go sit down next to Sylvia."
She said pointing to a girl with blond curly hair and ice gray eyes. She was pretty, but she looked just about ready to kill me. I hesitantly walked over and sat down. She stared at me the whole time. I was afraid to even look at her so I stared straight ahead and pretended to pay attention to whatever the teacher was talking about.
When the bell finally rang, I stood up and hurried off to my English class. To my disappointment, Sylvia was in that class to. The teacher introduced me to the class and told me to sit down next to the one and only, Sylvia.
It was the same story for that class and art class. Then came lunch. When I walked in I imiditly spotted Ponyboy and Johnny sitting in the corner. I hurried over to them and sat down. They looked up and smiled.
"Hey Ryls!"
"Hey guys. Do know by any chance a girl named Sylvia?"
That's when I heard a pair of heels stop behind me at that moment.
"Yah. They know me alright."
I gulped. I didn't dare turn around so she grabbed my hair while two guys grabbed Pony and Johnny. She dragged me out of the school ignoring stares and brought me behind the school along with Pony and Johnny.
She through me against the wall and spat in my face.
"So you're the fat, ugly, trash that Dally left me for huh?"
She threw me on the ground and kicked me in the ribs over and over with her incredibly painful heels.

"Take off your sweatshirt!"
"N-no" I coughed out.
"Do it now or those two will be hurt!"
No. Not Pony. My brother. Not Lil Johnnycake. I slowly took off my sweatshirt. She smirked.
"Now your t-shirt."
I stopped and stared at her. She got frustrated and clearly impatient as she ripped my shirt off and beat me senseless. She then took out a big black pirminent marker and wrote on me. I can't even say most of what she wrote. This is what I can say though.
She wrote trash on my leg, she wrote ugly on my forehead, and she wrote T on my stomache. Then she turned me over and took out a blade and started carving something across my back. I was too weak to stop her so when she finished, the two guys dropped Pony and Johnny and the three of them strode away. Leaving me in my sweatpants and bra, bloody and broken.
Pony yelled for Johnny to go get Two-bit or Dally, the only people available, while he stayed and watched over me. Ponyboy ran over to me and helped me put my shirt on. It was white so all the blood just soaked right through.
Two minutes later Johnny came back with Dally and Two-bit. Dally came right up to me and tried to hug me, but when he did I screamed. It hurt so bad. The marker stung and my body ached. He quickly removed his hands and brushed hair from my face. Then without warning he scooped me up and ran for the house. I let out a quick gasp and arched my back.
When we got back to the house, Pony and Johnny went to call Darry and Dally put me down on my bed. I layed down on my stomach while the blood coated the bed and some of my hair. Dally just kept pacing back and forth not knowing what to do until Darry barged in.
"Okay, Pony, Johnny go downstairs. Dally, you stay up here with me. I will need a lot of help for this one."
Darry lifted my shirt to reveal the message Sylvia carved into my back.
