《He Finally Cares》Will You Be My Girl...

The gang must have brought me to the living room, because I was on the couch and the gang was scattered around the room, talking quietly among themselves. I was still only half awake, drifting in and out of sleep. I tried to listen to what they were saying though. Johnny was on the floor next to Dally, curled in a ball. Everyone's attention seems to be on Dal.
"You WHAT?!" Two-bit whisper-yelled. Whisper-yelled, how do you even do that?
"You heard me," Dally whispered. He seemed embarrassed. "I have been trying to deny it myself, but I can't anymore. I can't deny that I love her."
Who? Wasn't he still with umm... whatsherface? Oh, I sorta rember. Sylvia.
"I mean it doesn't matter anymore, Sylvia's two-timing me again so..." Dally sighed.
Oh. Then who is it? I mean, most of the time that I have been here I've been in the hospital, but the gang did tell me a little bit about Dally and his flirting. Ok so I hate to admit it but that made me a little jealous. Who is he in love with?
"Does she know yet?" Two-bit teased.
"No, and I plan to keep it that way!"
"That might change. Maybe you should have someone else tell her."
"No way. Even if I did want to tell her, I'm man enough to tell her myself!" Dally shot back.
Darry walked in then, he had a smirk/serious face. How is that even possible?
"Maybe you should wake the poor girl up. She has been out cold for 3 hours and dinner is ready."
Everyone ran out of the room before Dally could even blink. He sighed and got up. He started walking towards me so I quickly closed my eyes. I heard him stop right next to me and sigh. He fingers lightly brushed along my cheek bone then he shook my shoulder. I let my eyes slowly open as I would any other time and yawned.

"Hey kiddo. Dinner is ready."
I looked around blinking like I would on any other average day. I tied to stand up but then my ribs sent a sharp pain shooting through me. I gasped and fell back to the couch. I twisted back and forth, testing my condition.
Dally sighed.
"Yah, you have-"
"Two broken ribs?" I interrupted.
He laughed.
"Um yeah. Two broken ribs."
I stood up to get dinner, which is most likely cake. I managed to stand without falling and only slightly wincing. Hey, I have delt with much worse. Anyways I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a piece of cake. I walked over to the counter to sit and noticed everyone staring. Then Dally walked in and everyone smirked. Two-bit burst out laughing and walked to the living room to watch Mickey Mouse. After that the rest of the gang couldn't help themselves, they burst out laughing too and followed Two-bit out to the living room. Well everyone but good ol' Darrell.
"What?" I asked suspiciously.
Darry chuckled and got ready to leave with his piece of cake just like the others.
"You poor little child."
"What?!" I asked again a little annoyed.
Darry just smirked and started to walk out of the room.
"Just tell her Dal."
Then he ran like his life depended on it. Which by judging the look on Dally's face, it probably did. Dal was glaring daggers at Darry. Good thing he ran like he did, or he might be dead. And trust me, I'm not getting involved in another murder case! It was kinda funny though. Darry ran so fast that he tripped and almost dropped his cake. I started to laugh until Dally turned towards me all embarrassed and nervously playing with his thumb.

"Dal, you ok?"
He sighed.
"Um, I don't know. Maybe, I think that I just have to tell ya something first..."
Okay this is wierd. What is going on here. What for Dal have up his sleeve?
"I uh... ok can I tell you outside?"
I nodded. What is going on? As suspicious as I was, I followed him outside. He turned to face me, taking in my confused expression. He moved around a bit and took out a smoke. I made a face.
"What a tough girl like you don't smoke?" He tried to joke.
"Nope. I find out very gross actually. I mean there is a reason that they call it a r stick."
He stared at me with his jaw hanging open. He quickly dropped the cigarett and stomped on it to put the flame out. Now it was my turn to be confused. Dally doesn't follow other people's orders or wishes. He stomps on them like they're nothing and beats the tar outa' someone who talks back to him.
"Uh, listen I wasn't planning on telling anyone this, but you know. After I blurted out that you were one of the two most important things in my life, the guys got suspicious. I had to eventually tell someone the truth. So I told them and they pushed me into doing this. They will pay for it after of course, but you know. So here I am."
"Kay now to listen to me, I have absolutely no clue what you're saying our talking about. What did you tell the gang and what are they gonna pay for?" I told him directly while living the bridge of my nose between my thumb and index finger.
"This is what they'll pay for. Rylee I really like you and, actually I think I love you. Yeah. I love so much and what the boys pushed me to do is tell you how I feel and ask you this question. Ryls, will you be my girl?"

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)
