《The Kidnapped Orphan》Swimming Horror

After all the dreadful things that happened in the past. Daisy in the orphanage, Daisy tortured, kidnapped, bullied, losing her best friend. Then her daughter Alice, going through the same things, then eventually dying. Their family reunited and became a very strong, tough one. Their family became bigger and bigger too.

Daisy had another child. It was a girl which Daisy and James had called Shannon. She had big, bright green eyes that always shone. Her curly hair that was brown reminded everyone of her older sister Alice, who is still not forgotten.

Kayla had a child of her own. His name was Jack. Everything was perfect, however.

Daisy's POV

"Bobby, come back here." I shouted, very frustrated with Bobby. He was now 15 and had a very bad attitude. Worse than Alice's.

"Mum, leave me alone. My girlfriend is calling me!" His deep voice echoed down the stairs. I sighed and stormed after him.

"Bobby, if you don't get here, I will ground you for a week." I threatened, which caused him to turn around and look at me, straight in the eye.

"Hold on, baby. I'll call you back." Bobby ended the call and looked up at me again. "What?" He questioned.

I told him to come downstairs and he finally listened to me. We sat down on the sofa and talked about his older sister Alice who had died. There were a lot of tears afterwards..

"Alice went through the same past as me." I gulped. I hadn't told Bobby about mine and Alice's situations with Joseph. "When I was 12, Alice's age, I was kidnapped and abused." Bobby dropped his mouth open.

"Mum..Why didn't you..tell me this?" He paused. "I could've cheered you up years ago! Since Alice died!" I shook my head and carried on. "I'm only telling you this because today was the day Alice died. This time right now, Alice would've been coming down those stairs with two boxes in her hands. You were sat over there, drawing." I pointed.

After mine and Bobby's discussion, Bobby suggested that he should visit Alice's grave. I agreed and we got ready to go. But firstly, we had to buy a bunch of flowers. Today would be a very emotional day.

Shannon ran down the stairs, her hair waving as she ran. She was beautiful. Just like Alice. "Shanny baby, don't run down the stairs. You might hurt yourself." I warned, pulling her into a hug. "Ok, mummy." She giggled, as I tickled under her arms and around her waist.

I was going to be taking her to Kayla's house for a bit, because she volunteered to baby sit. Shannon and Jack had bonded since they first met. They were really close friends. Shannon was excited as much as Jack was.

"I'm going to see Jack! Yay!" Shannon giggled, running around in circles.

"Only if you're good, sweetie." I chuckled, walking to the kitchen.

"Mum, can I make a sandwich before we go?" Bobby followed me into the kitchen. "We're meeting your father in town, so we can all go to eat. Then I'll drop off Shannon and we will all go to the grave yard." I got a carton of orange juice from the fridge and poured it into a glass.

"It's to lighten our moods." I added. "But wouldn't we need to cheer up afterwards too?" Bobby got out his phone. "Yes dear, that's why we're going to a swimming park after." I laughed.

James, Shannon, Bobby and I all had our meal. I remembered when it was just Alice, James and I eating. It had all changed since. I dropped Shannon off at Jack and Kayla's house, and then drove up to the graveyard. I was already starting to feel sick and nervous. I think Bobby and James were too.

James took Bobby's phone off him and switched it off. "Son, this is a family outing. You can have this phone back tonight." James sternly said, putting it into the holder.

"Fair enough." Bobby looked down at his hands and started to play with them. Meanwhile, I was lost and didn't know where exactly this grave yard was.

Turn left at the traffic lights.

I followed the woman who was speaking. I set my Sat nav to tell me where to go. She was doing a good job, I guess. I turned left and saw the grave yard.

You have approached your destination

Thank god I heard that. It sent me a good feeling whenever I heard that line.

I parked my car in the car parking space, next to the grave yard and stepped out. I had forgot to get the flowers and panicked for a while. What was I going to do?

"I forgot the flowers!" I said, worrying.

"Babe, calm down. It doesn't matter." James hugged me, and we eventually starting walking down to Alice's grave. Bobby walked slowly behind us as we made our way to her stone.

"Alice..was so..beautiful." Bobby sobbed.

"I know sweetie. Such a shame she isn't here." I whispered, letting the cool wind blow against my face.

I hugged James. I couldn't look at the grave and picture of Alice anymore. It brought back too many memories. Flash backs too. I decided it was enough and that we should go.

"Right, lets go swimming." James chuckled, as we all walked back to the car.

Shannon was still at Jack's house and James, Bobby and I arrived at the swimming park. It was believed that it had the worlds longest, fastest and funnest water slides. It was only £20.00 for two adult tickets and £15.00 for a child ticket, so I decided we would go there.

The building was gigantic and the slides were amazing. It wasn't just the slides and pools that entertained everyone. It was also an activity room with loads of challenges. There was one challenge that Bobby wanted to try.

We paid for the wristbands and lockers, also to get inside the whole building, and got all our swimming stuff on. I decided to wear a bikini. It was brightly coloured and had loads of flowers all over it.

"Mum, later we have to do the underwater challenge!" Bobby laughed as we walked inside the fun zone.

"Yes. Now we will meet at this spot at half past, so we can do the challenges in the activity room. Go and have fun!" I warned, while Bobby went running off into the water.

"Want to have a quick swim before we go on the slides?" James winked at me. I nodded and we both dived into the pool. It was amazing. Loads of colours had lit up, under the water, and it felt amazing. I swam back up and laughed.

"James, it's amazing under there!" I moved a wet strand of my hair from my face.

"I know baby. We need to spend more time under there." He chuckled and went under water. I watched as I saw his body swim around me. He eventually grabbed hold of my leg. I gasped as he pulled me under.

I hadn't had time to breathe before going under, so I had to use my strength and leg go off James, to swim back to the top and catch my breath.

James followed me and we were both stood there in the water, breathing like mad.

"James! Don't do that again!" I cried out, splashing him with water. He splashed me back and I knew this was war.

"Bring it on!" James laughed, as he splashed me more.

We started laughing as we splashed each other loads. I hadn't had this much fun in ages. Since Alice died. It was nice to have a family outing, while Shannon, the very talkative one was at Jack's.

Half an hour past and we met Bobby where we had planned.

"Ready to go to the activity room? You can do that challenge you wanted to do." I giggled as James showed us the way. I hadn't been here before but James apparently had, so he had to show us everything.

There was a massive Que for The Underwater Challenge. James had explained what it was. You got put into a room and you had to find certain objects. The water would start to rise, but you couldn't possibly drown, because they would let you out straight away and in the corner of the room was an oxygen tank. It looked amazing and I had wanted to try too.

After about 15 minutes of waiting, it was Bobby's turn. I gave the man the money and Bobby walked into the room.

"It's so cold in here!" Bobby shouted.

"Well it's going to be!" James shouted back at him, grinning.

"Are you ready?" The man asked Bobby.

"Yes!" He simply replied.

The man pressed the red button and the doors slammed shut. Then there was a voice.

Welcome to The Underwater Challenge. You will have one minute to find all the possible objects in the room. There will be a countdown before your challenge starts. If anything goes wrong or you lose your breath, simply swim over to the button in the corner and press it. The water will start to sink and the doors will be opened. If you simply do not have enough time to swim, rise your arms and wave them about. There is also an oxygen tank in the corner, so do not hesitate to use it. Thank you.

I chuckled out loudly, causing everyone to look at me. I stopped and stood still awkwardly.

Are you ready?! Five...four...three...two...one..GO!

The challenge started and the water started rising very fast. Bobby took a big breath before going underwater. He was doing very well. Swimming freely and comfortably in the water. He found one object and put it in the box. Now he had nine more to find.

"Come on, Bobby!" I encouraged with James. He was doing incredibly well! I had never seen him cope so well underwater before.

After finding eight objects, he swam over to the button and pressed it. I watched as the water didn't go and the doors weren't open.

"Excuse me. Is this meant to happen?" I asked the man. "Not that I know of! I'll open the doors now." The man pressed all the buttons, but the doors weren't opening and the water wasn't going.

"Bobby! Go to the oxygen tank!" I got his attention and he swam slowly to it. He managed to put it on.

"Glad that worked. Now go and get someone to open the doors!" I demanded. The man rushed off and Bobby started speaking.

"What's going on, mum?" He asked, swimming about.

"Just some issues. They will get you out of there in a minute." I calmly spoke, smiling at Bobby.

"Just hang on lad. I can see them coming now." James smiled too.

The men came rushing towards us and started doing some work. Organizing stuff out. Five minutes had gone past and everyone was removed from the activity room, apart from James and I.

"I'm sorry. We've tried everything. There is no possible way. The door is jammed and the drains are full of water. The only way we can get your son out is if we smash the walls, so if you will exit the room please." James and I walked slowly to the door and looked through the window as they started smashing the wall. But it was solid.

"The oxygen is low!" Bobby started screaming.

After I heard about what he had said, I ran inside the room. The men had gone. I don't know where.

"Bobby, sweetie! Please hang on! Don't breathe too much, or you will waste the oxygen!" I instructed.

"It's too late mum. They can't get me out. My tank is running low. I love you so much." Bobby sobbed. "We've been through so much. But it's time, I have to go. I'll be with Alice, mum. Take good care of Shannon."

I started to cry as he started saying all of this. He couldn't give up! He still had oxygen and the wall was nearly down!

"Don't give up, baby. You still have oxygen. They will get you out! Please hang on!" I looked at Bobby. He was crying too. I knew it.

"Please, mum. It's too late. I'm going to take this tank off and I want you to stay calm." I fell to my knees and started crying. He undid the tank.

"I love you so much." He whispered, before pulling it off, fully. He had passed out already and his body started floating around the place.

"No! Bobby!" I screamed. I had lost another kid. Five minutes later, the men all ran in.

"I'm sorry for the mistake. I forgot about the emergency button. We can get your son out now." One of the men stated.

I looked at them in horror. "You fucking bitch." I mumbled, standing up.

They looked at Bobby's dead body and looked back at me. "I'm so sorry! Please! I really am!"

James' POV

I pulled Daisy into me and hugged her tightly. "Baby, calm down. It was a mistake, wasn't it?" I kissed her on the lips but she pulled back.

"No. Bobby is dead because of them! They forgot about the emergency button and now they will pay!" She screamed in anger, grabbing hold of the man. She started to drag him down near the pool.

"You can say sorry to Bobby when I'm finished with you."

"Are you mad?" I whispered in horror. I knew what she was going to do and I had to stop her.

"Daisy. Don't." I sternly warned.

She ignored me and shoved his head under the water. "NO!" I yelled, grabbing Daisy and pulled her back.

"He will pay!" She screamed. Everyone started to watch the attempt murder.

"Someone call the police!" A mother screamed, running out of the building.

I ran after the woman but it was too late. She was going to get the police and Daisy was going to be going to prison. I walked back, only to find the man pushing Daisy under the water this time.

'STOP! NOW!" I punched the man but he didn't stop. He carried on. "No! We can sort this out! Don't kill her!" I started to sob. But..that was too late too.

Daisy's body sank to the bottom. I checked her pulse. It had stopped and she had died.

Alice, Bobby and Daisy had died. It was like death was trying to get them all. Like Joseph had came back and haunted them all.

After all the childhood with Daisy and the good times with the kids. It had all gone. It was just Shannon and I now. Shannon wouldn't have a mother or any brothers and sisters. She would be alone. Her life will be ruined, but I can't let that happen.

I attended all of their funerals with Shannon. She was also growing up so fast. I felt so sorry for her.

...

After a couple of days, once again, Shannon and I were back on track. I made Shannon start new clubs, so she felt more happy again. And I started a new job, which was working in the police force. After what had happened in the past, I decided I should start too.

But, as I decided to work with the police, which meant I had more hours, social workers didn't like that.. They took Shannon from me and I don't know where she will be. But I will find her. She wasn't normally taken away. These workers didn't have licenses. And now, I will track these people down and I will find her..no matter what..

Well. That's the end of The Kidnapped Orphan. It was amazing just writing it. I hope you all enjoyed it and loved it!

I have some good news too. I'm going to be writing a new book about Shannon's life. It will be about her and her life without her family and her life with Jack. How she deals with situations. Terrible ones..

That was such a sad ending. How they all died apart from Shannon. I'm sorry I've killed all of them too. It had to be done though.

My story Abused will be deleted. There will not be another story of Truth or Dare, sorry. I just don't have enough time to work on 3 books.

Thank you for all the votes and reads. Also the follows, too. I am so happy.

Anyway, that's enough talk. Have an amazing day and Merry Christmas!

P.S- In School, I was thinking about being terribly evil and making all of your lives hell. I was going to end it off like, the whole book was just a film, and Daisy and that were just actresses filming the whole thing, so nothing actually happened, but that would've been so evil and mean. I didn't want to do it. I was so CLOSE to doing it though. :P
