He was tormented.

He was cruel.

He was ruthless.

He was powerful.

He couldn't love.

She was fragile.

She was sweet.

She was tortured.

Pain. Pain was all I felt and knowing that I would be living with someone who causes pain, it hurt me even more.

"Y-you killed innocent children," he chuckles darkly.

"I did."

"You're a monster, I can't be with a monster. I'm not staying." He laughs humorlessly.

"P-please don't hurt me if I stay," I shutter afraid and cower back.

I remember the look in his eyes when I first saw him, they weren't loving, kind or anything. They were pools of emptiness, nothing but the cold truth.

"I'm not going to hurt you, Lily," he says with the same emptiness look in his eyes.

"Y-yes you are."

"I'm known as a killer, ruthless, powerful, cruel, cold and rough. I've killed thousands and you've killed none, one thing I, Luca Knight, wouldn't do is hurt my own mate."
