2 months later
"Come on momma and daddy, its this way. "
Tasha and I were leading our parents to the Champagne room at the YORK Hotel. They thought they were going to Mr. Covelli's official retirement party but it was really their own 35 surprise anniversary party.
"Here it is, you guys can sign your name in his guest book Zara and I signed ours earlier. When you are done we will be in the room right across the hall."
Tasha and I hurried in the room and got to our places before our parents walked in.
"HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!"
My parents were in complete shocked and froze in their places when the cameras started flashing.
"Happy anniversary momma and daddy." Tasha and I said in unison.
"You guys did all of this?"
"Yup."
"I knew you girls were up to something."
"No you didn't daddy, we were too smooth for you. Now lets go enjoy the party."
After my grandparents gave their speech to my parents we spent the night laughing and dancing with our family and friends. It brought tears to my eyes to my parents still so much in love after all these years.
---
"Excuse me, can we have everyone's attention please. It's the end of the night and on behalf of my sister Zara, myself and our parents we want to thank you all for coming out tonight to help us celebrate our parents 35th wedding anniversary. Momma and daddy we just wanted to say congratulations, and that we love you and here's to another 35 years."
"You guys did a wonderful things for your parents bella.' Vincent said walking up behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Thanks, im glad that everything is over. I had a great time but I wore out. I'm going to stay with you tonight, I'm too tired to drive back to my parents house tonight."

"I think your parents will be happy to have the house alone tonight anyway." He said wiggling his eyebrows.
"Eewww don't say that."
"How do you think you got here. You don't think your parents ha--"
"The stork, my parents don't do that." I said cutting him off.
"Really." He threw his head back laughing. "Come on lets go."
-----------------------------------------------
"I've been thinking about selling my house and getting a condo." I said before closing my eyes.
You know you can stay here as long as you want." I felt him puller me closer and I just snuggled in closer. "In fact I was thinking about keeping you here forever."
"Hmm that's nice." I was falling asleep and my brain wasn't really processing what he was saying.
"Ti amo. (I love you) "Mi vuoi sposare." (Will you marry me?)
"I love you too, now lets sleep." I felt his chest rumble with laughter. I felt him playing with my fingers while I was sleeping which is something I had become accustomed to.
---------
When I woke up I unwound myself from Vince and went to the bathroom to wash the sleep from my face. I saw a note on the mirror that said "look at your hand"
"Oh my.....Vince! I screamed his name turning to go back to the room and saw him standing in the doorway.
"Is this for real, like for real for real?" I asked holding up my hand .
"Yeah, I want to spend the rest of my life with you if you'll have me."
I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him.
"Is that a yes?" He asked smiling, and wiping away my tears.
"Of course, its a yes, yes, yes. Ooh wait let me call my mother."
"You're parents already know. I asked them for you hand three months ago." He said pulling me back to him.
"Really, Are you sure you can handle me forever?"
"Did you say forever? Ummm let me think about that, you and a bunch of little kids running around the house."
"Too late, you already asked." I said laughing. "And how much is a bunch of kids?"
"Three maybe four."
'I think we can manage that."

Blood & Honey #1
~A Wattys and Fiction Award winner*A lion does not need an invitation from a lamb. That is not the way of the predator. Predators take what they want, when they want it, however they please. And this belief that I am, that evil is, enslaved by the dark night is humorous to say the least. Why would any creator make their pupil inept of withstanding the lighted world when this planet is covered in daylight for half of its life span? No, our Maker did not instill such restrictions for, up here on these earthly lands, we are the gods of prey. ~ Tristan There is only one rule vampires must follow--Bite Hard. It is forbidden for humans to know vampires exist so you can imagine Tristan Darkos's surprise when he finds one that knows what he is. He can tell by the tremble of her body, the thump-thump of her pulse, and her dilated pupils. He's going to have to finish what some other vampire started. The problem is when Tristan gets close to this human his blood turns to fire and the thirst that burns in his throat that should spell her doom twists until he's consumed by another need--one that is evocative, primitive, and...wrong.If Tristan doesn't figure out the mystery that is Kinley Shea Rylan, it is certain whatever dark force her honey blood is summoning forth will be the end of him and, possibly, the end of the world as we know it. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Author note: - This is an original work with my take on Vampires.
