《Trapped Soul (Completed)》Chapter 15

Chapter 15.
was two things that Cyn didn't like and purely hated, to be fucked over and her boring ass job, right now she just wanted to get out of here and crawl into her bed and go to sleep, today it was slower than ever and she wasn't even in the mood for taking any questions. This was now the second time Cyn had been reported by a customer.
"Cyn, I hope your listening to me..." Reena said.
"I am." She lied, she wasn't even focused on her, she was too busy thinking about going home and getting some actual rest.
"Don't do it again." She said walking off.
Cyn sighed then sat back down on the stool and looked at the news papers that were laid out on the counter and read the headlines that didn't shock a soul...
She scoffed looking at the paper and pushed em' aside already fed up enough, she figured they needed to talk about how run down the school systems were or how water barely ran in some of these communities.
"Same ole' shit." She heard a familiar voice from above her, snapping her head up she'd met those beautiful hazel eyes that bore right back into hers and smiled.
"I'm here wondering if it's the same from last week." He laughed at her statement, a smile then played on his lips as it soon faded.
"I don't see your lil firecracker ass..." He said lookin' for an answer.
"I- I just been doin' me I guess." He nodded. Its been about two weeks since they'd seen each other at Rodney's lil' meet up and believe it or not that incident still played on her mind.
"Can I get a black n mild and two fruity pops please?" He asked sincerely.
"Fruity pops?" She looked at him and tilted her head in confusion as he smiled.
"My daughter." She nodded getting him the pops and the black n mild.
"Here you go. That's $2.51." She handed it to him and he gave to her a twenty dollar bill.
"Keep it alright." She raised her brow and pursed her lips.
Cyn eyed him as he gave her a reassuring look.
"It don't mean nothin'." He said sounding a bit convincing.
"Calvin don't play with me..." She spoke as he chuckled.
"I'm dead ass." He said as the smile played on his lips.
"Fine."
"Make sure come around now..." He spoke and nodded.
"Hopefully I will." He gave her a look and then turn around walking away, Cyn watched as he walked straight to the white dodge RAM truck and until he was nowhere in sight.
"Cyn, mind your got damn business!" She heard Reena yell from the back as she snapped out of trance and returned to work.
rest of the day had went by slow but she guess patience took a toll on her, closing time was here and all she wanted to do was to hurry up with these floats and give them to Reena. When she was done, Reena closed up the shop and she stood outside to make sure that she was already done.
"You need a ride?" She asked and she shook her head no.
"Nope, I'm good."
"You sure?" She asked with her brow raised.
"Yea." Cyn smiled as she smiled back, Rodney said he was supposed to come for her but she guessed there were more important things than her that mattered to him.

When she watched the gates close she watched as Reena got into her car and pulled off, that was her que, the feet of her air force ones hit the wet pavement as she walked the back way through the ally. She haven't taken the back way in a while so she was a bit paranoid.
Her main focus was hurrying to the other side of town, Cyn made a turn in the back of the burger shack and before she knew it she was being pinned to the ground.
"Chill girl." His sickening, scornful voice spoke in Cyn's ear.
"Get off of me." She barely made out trying to push him off, he chuckled and he didn't change either, not that Cyn expect it but it had gotten worse if you'd asked. The Grenadine was stronger than ever and the smokes she was inhaling were worse than the first hand.
"Aye stop your shit!" He said hitting right the side of her face.
"Wendell get the fuck off me!" She felt as he reached down and grabbed her private and she bit the side of his face, she pushed him off of her as she felt her hair being yanked on, she fell flat on her back on the muddy floor as she was being hit repeatedly in the face.
"Never disrespect me like that again bitch!" He yelled punching her square in the face, she felt the blood trickle down the side of her face as she coughed up the metallic fluid.
She was out of it and the headache she had was pressuring, her head was throbbing like pure shit, she watched as Wendell stood over me with his pants unbuckled with that slimy ass grin on is face, Cyn tried sitting up but she failed at every attempt.
Wendell straddled her and began to pull down her pants, she tried to fight him off but it wasn't no use.
"Hey!" She watched as Wendell's head snapped around and stared in shock, he gave Cyn one more look before standing up and then he was out of plain sight, Cyn's head got lighter and lighter as she felt her lids grew heavy.
She heard footsteps and that was it....
can see her." Cyn heard someone say.
"Cyn." She groaned feeling the throbbing headache coming on.
"Cyn." The person spoke a bit louder but she closed her eyes tighter.
"I'll fucking shoot you if you don't get up." He hissed in her ear.
Cyn's eyes flew open and immediately shut after she had came in contact with the lighting over her.
"Cyn, I need you to get up." Her eyes slowly opened and started to adjust to the light as the blurry features became clear as day.
Rodney. To be honest she didn't even wanted to see his face right now.
"How you feelin'?" He asked.
"Like shit..." She winced trying to sit up.
"You look like it too." He mumbled as she rolled her eyes.
"What happened?" He asked and she turned her head away from him.
"I'm talkin' to you..."
"I don't want to talk about it right now Rodney." She heard him sigh as she tucked in her lips and swallowed deeply.
"Alright....let's go." He spoke.
"What?" She said turning her head towards him.
"I said let's go, I don't got time to hook up 'round here, we gotta go Cyn plus I got shit to deal with." He said not considering Cyn's health at all.

"Rodney, just go alright I'll find my way home." She sighed.
"No you not, now let's go." She watched as he started to pull the stickies off of her and ripped out the IV cord as little blood started to ooze out.
"What are you doin'?" She asked pushing him off of her.
"Gettin' you the fuck out of here."
"Rodney stop!" She yelled as he tried picking her up.
"What the fuck now Cyn!" He said standing up straight with an agitated look on his face.
"You can't do this." Cyn watched as the door flew open and the nurse came in and looked down at what Rodney did.
"Excuse me sir I'm gone have to ask you to leave." The nurse said, Rodney ignored her and picked Cyn up bridal style as she draped her arms around his neck.
"Sir you can't do that." She yelled since they were down the hall.
She doesn't know Rodney and what he's capable of, she didn't know what she was messing with or how to get her self out of a caught up situation, and she was dead ass wrong, Rodney does what Rodney wants.......
had been home now over a week and she was feeling better than ever, but she guessed that's something she hadn't felt in a long while. She was sitting on the couch eating twizlers that Rodney picked up for her this morning. At first she thought it all was some kind temporary treatment, but Rodney was there for here ever since he took her up out of the hospital, but she knew this wouldn't last for long so why not enjoy the treatment.
She was a little scared when it came to her being alone with him 'cause she figured that he'd ask her what happened but he never did. Graduation was two weeks from now and Cyn finally made up her mind that she wasn't going.
"I'll see you later, you know where everything is." Rodney said as she looked at him latching his watch onto his wrist.
"Where are you goin'?" She asked, sitting up.
"To handle somethin'." When he said something like that, she'd understand but she wasn't 'bout to stay home alone.
"I wanna go." She said lowly.
"What?" He asked finally looking over to Cyn.
"I said I wanna go, I don't want to stay here all day by myself Rodney." She said as he looked at her then sighed turning his attention to the wall.
"Hurry up." He said, she got up and she walked to her room sliding her feet into the black and red air max tennis, she looked into the body mirror as she was simply dressed in her black sweat shirt and black leggings.
The bruises on her face remained the same, some still blood stained. Looking at her reflection she shook her head, no matter how hard she tried to dodge trouble it always managed to find her.
"Cyn what you doin' man, I gotta go!" She heard Rodney yell. Cyn took one more glance at herself before heading out the door.
"I was 'bout to leave your ass..." She heard Rodney mumbled as he stood to his feet and walked over to the front door, he let her walk out of the apartment first, she walked down the steps and waited at the Jeep for Rodney since he was taking his own time, when he reached the bottom she watched as he pulled out another set of keys and began to approach her.
"When we get there you'll sit one place, please don't move. If you choose to that's your business and if you see what you not supposed to, still your damn business." He said unlocking the doors.
Cyn opened up her side and then got in, she closed her door and Rodney did the same, after that they were on out of there.
they arrived to Rodney's them place she saw the cars parked along the side walk it was still the same except for this time there wasn't no loud ass music, it amazed her to know how they were so exposed but still no one noticed, she guess this was also one of Rodney's traits, un-fuck-with-able.
Shaking off her thoughts Cyn got out of his Jeep and walked to the door where the same routine was repeated. She stepped inside and without Rodney's escort, she made her way to the back.
When she knocked on the back door, no one opened so she knocked again, the door flew open and there she was with a gun pointed directly at her face.
"Yo' put that shit down...." She heard Rodney say, her eyes immediately scanned the room as she looked for Calvin but in all disappointment, he wasn't here.
"I should've just bust her ass." Caesar mumbled stepping away from her, ever since that day he had his distance from Cyn but she didn't mind, it was just showing her that she's not to fuck with him but she was fine with that. Less people in her life, less she got to worry about.
She didn't do anything, the niggas here were just playing Domino's and poker which reminded Cyn of her gambling days, she hadn't done that shit in a while. Rodney came through the door and closed it locking it up. Everyone's attention was now turned on him and for some reason it looked like they were afraid to open up their mouths.
"Why the fuck y'all lookin' at me like that!" He yelled at them, she watched as one of them walked over to him and she noticed that words were being exchange but she couldn't make out what they were saying. Rodney's eyes then flickered over to Cyn and he had a glare until walking out of the room and down to the opposite hall followed by two other guys including Caesar.
"What's going on?" She asked one of the guys that leaned up against the wall.
"It ain't for you to know and don't worry 'bout it either." He said walking down through the same exact hall.
She was left here puzzled and a whole lot at that, she didn't know if what she was thinking was just as she'd expect it to be or it could actually just be her twisted ass mind, but as for it she was leaving it as is.
Cyn closed her eyes for a split second until her bladder started to speak on its behalf, looking around everyone was in their own world doing them, she stood to her feet and looked around seeing that the only way to go was through the hall, other than that door she wouldn't dare to go through again.
Cyn watched as the four of them came out and she noticed that Rodney wasn't with them either which left her puzzled, Caesar shot Cyn a glance before sitting on the leather sofa.
Taking her chance she walked out of the room passing Dennis as he gripped her arm.
"Where you goin'?" He said squinting his eyes.
"Can I piss without bein' questioned?" She asked with a slight attitude as he let her arm go.
"Go on." He chuckled
Cyn walked down the hall which was the same charcoal grey with one lighting, this hall was different, it had a variety of doors and each of em' were numbered. She realised that it was some type of old motel.
She walked further down and taking a guess as she rest her hand on the knob and pulled the door open, luckily it was just an empty room with mops. She closed the door back and walked a door away from where she was at first and opened the door revealing a toilet.
It looked like it hadn't been washed down and hadn't been used in a while, but right now wasn't the time to pick nor choose.
She walked inside locking the door behind her as she pulled down her jeans and stooped down not letting her ass come in contact with the toilet and started to pee, the liquid against liquid was the only sound being made. She looked around the bathroom and her eyes scanned the roof that mold had infested and walls where she saw red spots take over, looking closely she realized that they were blood stains, her breathing increased as she hurried and try to strain out the little of pee so that she could be finish, when she was done she quickly wiped herself and threw it away in the toilet.
Cyn washed her hands and quickly open the door walking out. She started her walk down the hall back to the way she came from as my shoes hit the pavement like mad.
"Ahhh fuck!" She heard someone yell, Cyn's chest tighten as her eyes widened and her body was stiffened dead. She turned around biting her lip contemplating on whether she should turn back, but she guessed that fear was getting the best of her right now. She followed the door where she heard the scream came from, and she pressed her ear against it. Cyn heard nothing but shuffling around and that was all. She rest her hand on the door and she opened it slowly.
She was faced with Rodney's back and looking down as she saw him standing in a pool of blood.
"R-Rodney?" She watched as his head snapped towards her with an emotionless expression, his eyes were weary and they were lost of energy, the sweat trickled down his body as his chest heaved up and down, he was in trance almost...
"Get the fuck out of here Cyn!" He yelled causing me to jump.
"Cyn..." She heard a familiar voice croaked, she took her chances and walked closer as Rodney came in her way trying to push her out.
"Cyn." Cyn pushed Rodney out of the way as she felt her vision start to blur, her legs were weak and she felt herself getting light headed.
"Manny...." He looked sick and messed up, the blood trickled down from his forehead as it drained from the steel chair and dripped onto the ground, she heard him chuckled and she heard Rodney sighed behind her as she turned towards him.
"Don't do it...." She told as he knitted his eyebrows in confusion.
"What?"
"I said don't do it, leave him be. His ass gone rot anyway." She said biting the inside of her lip.
"I'm not letting him get away with the shit he did to you Cyn, I put that on my mama." He gritted in her face exposing his clenched teeth.
"He's no good Cyn...." She heard Manny say from behind.
"Yo' shut the fuck up..." Rodney yelled.
"He don't care bout your ass..." Manny spoke again.
"Let him go." She said.
"You got yourself a good ass girl, son...good ass pussy too." Manny laughed she shook her head looking at Rodney who looked at her in mere disappointment but mostly dissatisfaction.
"Shut up Manny..."
"Or else what Cyn.... you gone put that pussy on me...you always knew how to work it."
"I said shut up Manny." She said a little agitated.
"All you ever were was a whole lot of mouth, can't do shit for yourself neither could your daddy do shit for you." Man spoke out of spite. Cyn reached into Rodney's waist band feeling the butt of the gun and pulled it out.
"Cyn what the fuck are y-" Manny looked like he was about to say something else, but before Rodney could've stopped Cyn, she already started...
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!

"Cyn stop, it's fucking empty!"Rodney yelled yanking the gun out of her hand as she felt the hot tears cascaded down her cheeks.
Manny's lifeless body sat there with his face tore wide open exposing bloody flesh due to the close range, his head was split open and his white T-shirt was now drenched in the crimson fluid.
Cyn dropped to the floor as she let out a piercing scream, she felt Rodney holding her from behind. She was empty and she just couldn't deal no more.
"Yo' what the fucks goin' on!"
She watched as Caesar and the rest of the guys came busting in the room armed with their guns as they eased them down looking over at Manny.
"What the fuck happened yo'?"
"Ain't know shorty got it like that." She realized Caesar's voice beamed lowly.
Many voices started to fill Cyn's head, and she couldn't make out shit either of them were saying, all she knew was that she was tired, her head ached as her hands trembled out of fear. She was sick of the way that she was living, she was sick of the way she was being treated, she was sick of everything,
She was truly sick of this life.....

It was at the height of my career that my life went from all wins to back to back losses. At first, I was optimistic. I felt that I could overcome this. This wasn't something that could keep her down. She was stronger than this. We were stronger than some disease. At some point, it even look like she was going to make a strong recover. We already bought tickets and were planning our next step in life. Talking about kids, that blue house and white picket fence. Ho... Instead, I stood in front of a freshly dug grave. I stared at the casket that was being lowered into the muddy ground. I did not say my last goodbyes. How could I when everything she was, she had become, she was going to be was in my face like a fresh slap. Our house, my work office, the blackness behind my eyelids. It was a fresh reminder.. Then, I got this fresh start.. This crazy bish summoned me.. Summoned me from a world where I had went down the wrong path. To a world where there was no right and wrong for me. There was no peers I had to look into the eye and see pity. There was no more of walking to her grave and telling her what I had become after she was gone. It was simply just us in my heart. The way she look when she at her worse, the strong vigor she held in her soul. Comforting me while I was attempting to comfort her... Ha, this new world.. I wondered.. is this not a fresh start?
