The room was silent among the three of them. The only noise that was heard was the ticking sound from the clock. Blu ran her hands down her face, groaning lowly. She had been sitting here for about ten to fifteen minutes waiting for the results. Brittney had came to her house, crying and begging for help.
Finding out she was pregnant devastated her. Being a teen mom is something she never imagined to happen before. Of course, it was her fault for opening her legs and now she was pregnant. However, a part of her didn't want to believe it just yet. Which is the reason why she was over at Blu house with Angel, sitting and waiting for the results.
"Oh my god!" Brittney exclaimed, tossing her head back. Angel roll her eyes, twirling around in Blu chair.
"How long is this going to take?" Brittney asked, impatiently. Blu ignored her question, reaching over and grabbing the pregnancy box. She turned it around, reading the back.
"It said it'll be like ten to fifteen minutes." Blu answered nonchalant. She didn't want to be doing all this since she was extremely tired. She hadn't gotten any sleep since she started her midterms.
School was stressing her out, sports was stressing her out. Everything was stressing her out all together and all she wanted to do was sleep right beside her man.
"We been sitting here for a long ass time, I don't have time for this." Brittney spoke, throwing her hands up. She picked up the three pregnancy tests then read them.
"Pregnant...pregnant...fucking pregnant! Fuck!" She shouted throwing the tests down on the floor.
"Brittney, don't mess up my room or your going to be the one cleaning it up." Blu told her, tiredly.
"Fuck your room right now, Blu. We need to worry about me being pregnant." She remarked, Angel groaning loudly.
"Jesus, Brittney, it's not all about you!" Angel shouted, making Blu jump a little.
"The hell you mean it's not about me? We're here for me!" Brittney shouted back. Blu sigh, running her hands down her face.
Sleep...that's all she wanted.
"Your ignorant as fuck. First you come barging here crying like a bitch and begging for help because you decided to open your fucking legs. And now your over here mad as fuck. Maybe keep your legs close and not fuck other people's boyfriends." Angel retorted, completely pissed off.

Brittney roll her eyes, "Your seriously still stuck on that? Get the hell over it Angel, that was two years ago!" Brittney shouted back. Angel shook her head, standing up to her feet.
"Your a fucking asshole. And yes I'm still stuck on that because your my best fucking friend. Not only that, but you don't even help me out when I need it badly. But, you want my help when you find out your pregnant. Not even that, but you want your sister help when you been an asshole to her as well. You can't act a certain way towards soils then expect them to just have your back. That's not how that shit works!" Angel spatted, getting up in Brittney face.
"Angel, you don't want to have a problem with me cause it won't it pretty for you." Brittney threatened, stepping closer to Angel leaving no space between the two.
"Try me bitch." Angel said, not backing down.
"OH MY FUCKING GOSH!" Blu finally shouted getting off her bed. She pushed both girls away from each other.
"Y'all both are annoying right now. I'm wondering if y'all are seven or seventeen years old. Arguing for some old bullshit...seriously?" She asked them aggressively. She turned her attention to Angel.
"Listen, you can go home. I can handle the rest of this and I appreciate you for coming over. I'll see you at school." Blu told her, Angel nodded her head then grabbed her stuff.
"I hope your a wonderful mother to your child. Hope and pray they don't end up like their mother." Angel remarked, heading out the room.
Brittney roll her eyes, "She's a fucking bitch." She said making Li turn towards her.
"Nah, your the bitch, Brittney. What she said was absolutely true. You can't treat people like shit then when you have a problem, expect us to just help you. That's not how that goes and you know that." Blu told her.
"I'm literally carrying a child. This is a human being inside me, of course, I need help."
Blu roll her eyes, "And that's not my business at all. I'm not the one pregnant, you are. If I wanted to be an asshole, I could tell you to get the hell out my house and deal with your issue on your own."

"You can't just leave me to this by myself. Your my sister." Brittney said, the tone of her voice lowering. She was in a crisis and wanted help, but she was going about it the wrong way.
"Brittney, we barely have a relationship with each other. You despise me because of something our parents did. I did nothing to you all seventeen years of my life and you hate me. I would love to help you out, but your being an asshole to the people that'll help you. You need my help and I don't mind helping you, but you can't treat me like an asshole and just expect me to help because your family. You treat me well and I'll treat you the same way. That's all." Blu told her truthfully.
Brittney just stare at her sister then nodded her head, letting out a small sigh.
"Okay, I'm sorry." She apologized. She took a seat on the edge of the bed then covered her hands with her face.
Blu sigh lowly, sitting beside her sister. She placed her head on Brittney shoulder.
"You need to tell dad first then everything else will fall in place."
"Is she made at me?" Jahseh thought to himself as he laid on his bed in silence. He look over at Blu who was laying beside him, her back towards him.
Since she came here, she rarely talked to him. She said her hellos then laid down and didn't speak afterwards. Jahseh was new to this, so he assumed she was made at him. He wanted to ask, but wasn't sure if he should.
"Fuck it." He thought to himself. He turned towards her, wrapping his arm around her.
"Are you mas at me?" He asked her, kissing her cheek afterwards.
Blu look back at him, "No, I'm not mad at you. What makes you think that?" She ask him.
"Ion know, you just haven't talked to me since you came here. I figured you was mad at me or something." He answered. She turned around to her other side, so they were facing each other now.
"I'm not mad, I'm just really tired. Lately, everything just been overwhelming with my dad and sports, midterms, Brittney and her being pregnant. It's just a lot, but I'm sorry if I made you feel like that." She apologized.
"It's cool, I just assumed. And I understand how you feel, this week been hell for me as well." He said, frowning at the thought of his this week went.
Miracle still haven't woke up yet and Jahseh was at the hospital everyday after school. He slept there most nights as well, switching back and forth with his aunt. All he wanted was for Miracle to wake up, so he could take her home, hug her tightly and give her many kisses. That's all he wanted.
But, on the bright side, him and his mom were talking. They had went out for lunch and talked everything out. He had decided to forgive her for everything even though he already did. He was just waiting for the moment she realized what she had left behind and get herself together. Beth was living her brother now while still attending drug addiction meetings.
She was working on getting herself together and Jahseh was about happy about that. He was finally going to get his mom back.
"Yeah, how's everything? Is Miracle okay?" Blu asked, Jahseh let out a small sigh turning on his back.
"She's still in a coma. The doctor keeps monitoring her to make sure she's not brain dead. They're trying to do everything they can to pull her through because there's a possibility that you might not make it. I'm hoping and praying she can though." He answered her question, hating the thought of losing his little sister. She was only a kid and had so much to look forward to when she was older.
He didn't want that taken away from her so soon. Blu laid her head on his chest, Jahseh then wrapping his arm around her.
"She's going to be fine, Jahseh. She's a tough little girl, so she got this." She told him. Jahseh didn't say anything back and instead kept his thoughts to himself.
He just wanted her home.

I also drew the cover myself because I wasn’t sure which pictures were okay to use and I didn’t want to bother with it. So yea, sorry about the amateur drawing (・.・;) In any case, feel free to give feedback and thank you for reading.

The Choice is Not Yours
Author's Note: (As of November 20, 2021) I rewrote all the chapters perhaps more than a year ago, but haven't announced that I did so. Because that kind of announcement would include something along the lines of, "I'm working on the story so expect new chapters!" But the truth is, I lack motivation to do anything. And I would hate myself if I broke a promise. I'm extremely sorry if you have been patiently waiting for uploads. These days, I've been studying, not well, but studying somewhat. I will definitely bring more to show, with regular uploads. If not this story then there's another story I've been writing that's really exciting to me. It's not exactly similar to this story since it has a male lead and he is a baneful asshole with even less morals. I hope you'll like it when it comes to existence. And I'll leave my announcement off with the aforementioned promise. Meet Amber, a tomboyish, unstable, and cheeky lass who likes to keep to herself. According to her, she'll live the rest of her life on auto-pilot mode, awhile holding onto the few things that make her remotely happy. However, she forgot that people never really leave you alone, be it humans or even the Gods. And exactly that happens, ending her monotonous life on such the Gods' whim. But at what cost to her? Will she be able to hold onto the things she holds dear? Or will she fail miserably and lose herself in the process? That's what the Gods want to know. Disclaimer: I do not own the cover photo.Warning: If you are easily triggered, I am not writing this novel for you.

A glimmer of surprise crossed their faces as seven beams of light stabbed into the world, much more blinding than the previous luminescence.“Begin the Apocalypse,†at this instance, the clouds caved in, showering the land with crimson liquid.
