It was a breezy afternoon outside. The trees blew in the wind, the birds chip loudly and the sky was a beautiful light blue color. Outside seemed nice, but that wasn't the case inside the house. Anger filled the house, disagreements, hostility, backed up tension. It was terrible in the house and the reason for it was him.
Wesley rub the bridge of his nose listening to his daughter and son arguing. They had been going at with each other for the last twenty minutes over nonsense in Wesley opinion. The reason behind the argument...Jahseh.
"Your a terrible fucking father and I don't care what you say. You caused hell for that boy and you call that parenting!" Jayla shouted, getting everything off her chest. She was over how her brother was acting. All the hatred she had built up from when they were kids finally came out.
"Oh, Jayla shut the hell up. You don't know what the fuck I did and last time I checked, your not his fucking parent. I don't give a damn, he's my child and I do what I want." Apollo shouted back. He was tired of people coming at him and he was over it, especially his sister.
"Do you hear your damn self? All his life you been messing with that boy. Treating him different, verbally abusing him and it got worse once Beth went away. Are you still mad that she wanted to divorce your dirty ass after she caught you cheating on her multiple times? You need to grow the fuck up cause your acting like a little ass kid!"
"I'm not acting like shit and I don't give a fuck about Beth. She can go to hell for all I care, she doesn't even care about her kids. She fucking left them remember, instead of coming at me attack that bitch. Oh, wait you can't cause she's somewhere doing fucking drugs. Your coming at me when their mom isn't even here to raise them. I don't give a damn, I'm tired of y'all steady trying to baby that damn boy! I'm sick of it!"
"Your one piece of shit!" Jayla shouted, mushing his face. Apollo raised his hand quickly, Jayla flinching.
"Aye!" Wesley finally chimed in, standing up as quickly as he could.
"What you was going to hit me, huh?" Jayla shouted, her voice cracking a little.
"You was going to fucking hit me!" She shouted again, shoving his chest.
"Alright, that's enough." Wesley stepped in between the two of them, moving Apollo back.
"Get the fuck off me." Apollo spatted, shoving Wesley off of him. Wesley stumbling over a little, but he caught his balance before he fell.
"Why do you act like that Apollo? You had everything, so why do you act like this?" Jayla questioned, tears rolling down her cheek. Wesley walked over to his daughter knowing she was hurt, he was too. But, he had tried and sadly he couldn't get though to Apollo.
There was just no way.
"Blood isn't always thicker than water, Jayla. I figured you'll understand that." Apollo remarked, not showing an sympathy towards his sister crying.
He just didn't care anymore.
"Y'all are going to stay away from my damn family. I don't need y'all help with shit and nor do they need handouts. This isn't y'all damn place, so stay out of the shit. And that goes for you too dad, your only doing this just to prove a point. Your nearly on your deathbed and your still trying to do something you fucking can't. Worry about your other grandkids." Apollo told them, Wesley staring at his son in disbelief.

Wesley let out a small huff, "Apollo-"
"I don't want to fucking hear it because it's all going to be bullshit. Y'all need to stay in y'all damn place. I been taking care of all of them since Beth dirty ass left, I don't care for y'all opinions." He cut his dad off, not wanting to hear what his dad was going to say.
"Right, and under your care Jason isn't here anymore." Jayla retorted, shaking her head.
"But, I'm sure you don't care about that since you did the same thing to Jason." She added.
"It was different." Apollo said.
"Yeah, the only difference is Jason allowed you to live your life through him. That's why he wanted to go the military because that's what his dad wanted. If you'd let him live his own life, he would still be here."
"Your not going to use that to make me feel bad because I'm not going to. Miracle let's go!" He shouted, his attention landing on the little girl that stood at the end of the stairs.
She had been watching and listening the whole time. She was scared and wanted Jahseh, but he wasn't here for save her. She just wanted her big brother.
"Miracle, let's go!" Apollo shouted when she didn't come.
"Pop-pop, I-I don't want to go." Miracle told Wesley, still not moving from her spot. She was scared and didn't want to go with her dad.
"You don't have to-"
"MIRACLE, LET'S FUCKING GO NOW!" Apollo shouted loudly making Miracle. Her eyes started to water and she was now crying. Apollo mumbled under his breath, walking over to her.
"I said that's fucking go." He grunted, roughly grabbing her hand and pulling her.
"No, daddy!" She shouted trying to get out his grip. Over it, Apollo ended up popping up hard on her butt.
"I'm tired of your stupid shit." He grumbled, Miracle crying hard like she was hurting.
Wesley and Jayla watched as the two walked out the house. They were still able to hear Miracle cries from outside. Jayla shook her head putting her attention on her dad.
"I'm over it."
"I still can't believe I have my own apartment." Jahseh muttered to himself as he look around his now fully furnished room.
He was approved of his place and after a week of waiting he was now moving in. Him and Blu were putting the last touches on it.
"Babe!" Blu shouted walking in his room. He look back at her and she gave him a smile.
"You okay mamas?" He asked her walking up to her, a smile growing on her face.
"I'm fine boo, but guess what I found." She dragged taking the book from behind her back. She held it up and Jahseh smack his lips.
"Nope." He said, shaking his head as she hold his family album book. He tried to reach for it, but Blu stepped back from him.
"I wanna see baby Jahseh." She cooed, opening the book.
"No, we're not going to see baby Jahseh cause there's no need to." He told her walking to her. Before she could leave, he grabbed her by her waist making her chuckle.
"I just wanna see my baby when he was younger, stop being stingy." She told him still chuckling.

He sigh, "Fine, I guess we'll see." He said taking the book out her hand. Blu squealed as the both of them sat on the edge of his bed. She leaned her head on his shoulder. Jahseh flipped through the book finally finding a picture.
"Ooh, look at you. Your so handsome with your little afro." Blu cooed, pointing at the picture.
"That was not it at all." He said, still flipping through the album.
"Your still cute though, my baby with an afro. Don't ever get that shit again though." She told him, Jahseh smack his lips.
"I'm not, so don't worry about that."
They continued flipping through until Jahseh seen a picture of a smiling Jason. He stopped and just stare at the picture of his brother.
"That's Jason?" Blu asked and he nodded his head.
"Yeah, that nigga was always ready to take a picture. He was photogenic as hell." He answered her question, Blu stare at the picture of his brother.
She could see Jahseh all in Jason face, the only difference was Jason smiled...a lot. Whereas Jahseh kept a frown on his face, he had a reason of course.
"Y'all look just like each other with y'all big ass heads." Blu muttered, Jahseh pinched her thigh and she hit his arm.
"You talking hella shit over there ma, don't get fucked up." He told her, putting her leg over his.
"I'm sorry poppa." She kiss his cheek. "Anyway, is there a picture of your mom?" she asked, flipping through the book again. She found a picture and took the book out his hand.
"She's so damn pretty, I'm jealous as a motherfucker. When can I see my momma?" Blu asked still looking through. Jahseh shrugged his shoulders not answering.
"I doubt you'll ever see her, she's still doing her." He muttered.
"When was the last time you seen her?"
"Some months ago and I'm not planning on going to see her again. There's just no point in doing it ma, so don't ask." He answered before she asked her question.
"I think you should go see her. It's been months, so you don't know what's been going on." She told him and he shook his head.
"Nah, I'm good. I don't want to see her that way." He muttered lowly to himself. Blu phone started ringing and she took it out her pocket.
"I gotta go to practice." She said, standing up and turning the alarm off.
"Yeah, my baby on the basketball team. You better be shooting threes up in that bitch." He told her and she roll her eyes playfully.
"You already know." She gassed herself, flipping her hair over her shoulder. Jahseh lick his lips staring at his girlfriend. He was a lucky man to have her, he was actually happy to have her.
"Anyway, while I'm at practice, I want you to go see your mom." She told him grabbing her things, Jahseh sigh tossing his head back.
"Ma..."
"I don't wanna hear it. Just go and see her for a few minutes." She told him. After grabbing her things, she stood in front of him crossing her arms.
"Just a few minutes?" She asked.
Jahseh huffed, "Yeah, a few minutes." He agreed and she smile. She leaned down to him and peck his lips.
"Good, lemme know when you do it. I'll see you when I'm done!" She peck his lips again before heading out.
"GO SEE YOUR MOM JAH!" She shouted just before she left.
Jahseh sigh again leaning back on his bed. No way in hell was he going to see his mom.
As usual prostitutes stood on the corner of the street. They talked amongst each other while waiting for the next man or woman that'll pay them for a good time. Jahseh continued walking down the street looking for his mom. He had been walking for quite some time and still haven't seen her anywhere. He was on the verge of going back home if he didn't find her yet.
Jahseh blew a raspberry reaching the end of the street. Still not seeing his mom among the many people that was out here.
"Ayo!" He heard someone shout causing him to turn around. He seen a group of men posting in front of a store close by.
"You looking for someone?" A guy asked him.
"Uhh, yeah." Jahseh answered walking over to the men. "A lady named Beth, she's been out here for quite some time." The men just stared at him, Jahseh sighing lowly.
"Whatchu need with her?" The dude chuckled with his friends.
"I just...never mind fuck it." Jahseh waved it off, knowing this was all some bullshit.
"Hold on playa, don't get ya panties all up in a bunch." The same dude told him before Jahseh walked off. He leaned off the wall, walking to Jahseh. Jahseh stepping back a little since he was too close to him.
"She must be ya mom or something since you coming out here looking for her. She's a pretty woman by the way, but she haven't been out here in awhile. She been off the street for some time, you should be happy about that since she probably off getting her life together." The dude told him.
"Are you fucking with me or some shit?" Jahseh asked and he shook his head.
"Nah, I'm being deadass. She haven't been out here, I don't know where she went either. You should be happy." He repeated himself.
Jahseh nodded his head, "Uhh, yeah. Thanks." he said before walking off.
"No prob homie, I hope you find her and lemme know if she end up finding someone. Ya momma fine as fuck."
Jahseh shook his head, ignoring what the guy said. He was more focused on his mom. She wasn't on the street anymore so the guy said which probably was the reason why he didn't see her.
Was she really getting better?
