Back and Forth by Aaliyah played through her AirPods as she laid her head on the desk. She was in math class and while the teacher was busy teaching, she was attempting to go to sleep. She stayed up late last night catching up on her favorite show Shameless with Jahseh. Once he fell asleep, she stayed up and watched ten more episodes.
Her life choices were pretty fucked up at the moment, but she didn't care. Plus, math was the subject she was really good at, so if she didn't pay attention she was still able to get the work done. However, it was a good thing she wasn't paying attention because she had a special surprise waiting for her. Her music stopped playing once her AirPod was taken out.
She was about to snap until she quickly look up. Her mouth dropped open once she seen who it was.
"Dad!" She exclaimed jumping out her seat. She threw herself in his arms, her emotions getting the best of her and she started crying. Her other classmates watched the encounter with father and daughter thinking it was cute. She pulled away from him, smiling at her dad that she thought wouldn't be home.
"Dad..." she said again, she chuckled a little as she continued crying. Shane took off her glasses then wiped her tears.
"Hi princess." He said kissing her forehead. He smile looking at his daughter, the little girl he haven't seen in five years. He missed his daughter so much and was happy that he was back.
"I thought you wasn't coming home?" She asked him, sniffling a little.
"I wasn't, but I worked around it so I could come see you princess. But, I'm going to leave you and I'll se you at home. And pay attention." He told her, kissing her forehead. She roll her eyes playfully then wipe her face.
"I'll try."
"So, your dad really home?" Jahseh asked after parking his car in front of Blu house. She took off her seatbelt then turned towards him.
"Yes, he is and I'm so excited." She excitedly answered, happy that her father was finally home.
"I really didn't think he would ever come back, but he's here." She added, squealing a little afterwards.
"Well, I know your happy." He said and she nodded her head.

"While we're talking about that, do you wanna come in?" She asked leaning on the armrest.
"I mean...you want me to meet your parents? Like your mom and dad?" He asked, she chuckled.
"Are you scared or something?" She joked and he smack his lips.
"I'm not scared, but your dad is literally in the military, so that should explain everything. What does your mom do though?"
"She's a paramedic, she tends to work at night and stay home during the day." She answered.
"Wow, your family is...different." He muttered causing Blu to frown. She grabbed his chin making him look at her.
"Don't do that." She told him.
"I wasn't doing anything, I was just saying." he said shrugging his shoulders.
"Still it makes me feel bad. My family isn't perfect at all, but I know you'll fit right in boo." She said, biting her lip as she look at his. Jahseh lick his lips knowing she was looking.
"You did that on purpose." She said and he nodded his head. He leaned towards her kissing her. She pulled on his bottom lip before letting go.
"I'll let you go boo. Text me when you get home." She told him, pecking his lips. She grabbed her things then got out his car. Hurrying up the driveway, she ended up seeing her dad looking out the window. She shook her head walking inside the house. She put her stuff down then hurried in the kitchen where she seen her mom.
"Hello mama." She greeted her mom, giving her a hug. "Why is your ex being a stalker?"
"I'm not being a stalker, I just want to know who the boy is?" Shane asked walking in the kitchen and taking a seat at the island.
"How do you know it's a boy? Assuming people genders now?" Blu remarked, rolling her neck at her dad.
He smack his lips, "He's driving a sports car, something I don't see most women driving. So, who's the boy?" He asked again.
"A friend, that's all you really need to know dad. Please don't be extra." She told him, sitting beside him.
"I'm not being extra, I just want to know who the boy is that my daughter is hanging around. Is that not what a parent should do? Be concerned about his daughter safety?" He remarked looking from Crystal to Blu.

Blu roll her eyes putting her attention on her mom who shrugged her shoulders. She had missed her dad a lot, but his overprotective ways was something she disliked quite often.
"Am I going to get an answer?" He asked, she sigh turning to her dad.
"He name is Jahseh, he's a boy that I met at school and he's really nice...at times." She muttered the last part to herself.
"Regardless, you don't need to be extra because it's not that serious. Tell him mom." She added.
Crystal shook her head, "Don't put me in y'all father-daughter shit." She told them and Blu mentally roll her eyes.
"Mhm, so are you and this boy intimate? Did you lose your virginity to this little boy?" He asked bluntly, Crystal started laughing and Blu groan a little rubbing the bridge of her nose.
"Ahh, having you here is going to be so damn funny." Crystal continued laughing walking out the kitchen.
"You didn't answer my question, Blu." He told her and she let out a small sigh.
"We're not doing anything and he can't take something that was already taken." She mumbled, chewing on the inside of her lip.
"What?" Shane exclaimed, she sigh putting her head on the island. "Living room..."
"Dad-"
"Living room Blu." He repeated getting up.
She groaned getting up and stomping to the living room. She plopped down on the couch, crossing her arms. Shane sat on the coffee table in front of her and leaned forward. Blu roll her eyes already knowing what her dad was about to do. Between his two daughters, Shane was always hard on Blu than Summer. He also spoiled her more, but that was only because Brittney wasn't appreciative.
He knew that he would be able to get through Blu. He wanted the best for her, he wanted to do what he couldn't possibly do to Brittney. Even if he tried, Brittney was just different.
"Before you go crazy or something that's not that serious, I'm perfectly fine. Yes, I lost my virginity and it wasn't a big deal at all. It was with a guy I was friends with during the summer and it just happened. There's no need to make it a big deal because it's not." She told him.
"It is a big deal because your my daughter and I'm aware of how men in this world think and act. Plus, your a very nice girl and men can take advantage of that. I also don't want you to act like your sister." He told her truthfully.
"I will never ever, ever, EVER be like Brittney." She emphasized, Shane shook his head.
"Regardless, you can do whatever you want with your body, I'm not controlling that. I just don't want you to let just random people in because your body is a temple. And no one is suppose to come in your temple."
"Unless I invite them." She added.
"No."
"Yes."
Shane squinted his eyes at her and she shrugged her shoulders.
"Listen, dad I love and I know your trying to protect me and I appreciate it. However, I'm good on my own, I'm going to make mistakes and that's fine. I'm sure you had made mistakes in life, but you learned from them." She mention.
"Yeah, I made a mistake by not wearing a condom." He remarked and her mouth dropped open.
"That's disrespectful sir. Don't make me get Crystal on you." She joked already knowing her dad was scared of her mom.
Shane suck his teeth at her, "She doesn't scare me, but don't get her." He said and Blu chuckled.
"You know already know, but regardless I got this dad seriously. My friend is a good guy and he won't hurt me at all, so you don't have to worry or do your dad talk. Your princess is fine." She told him standing up. Shane let out a small sigh standing up as well. He pulled her into a hug then kiss her forehead.
"I don't think y'all are just friends, but I'll take your word for it."
"We're friends..." she paused thinking about her and Jahseh. Their kisses, the smile on both their faces when they see each other. The vibe and feeling she gets from him.
"...yeah, we're friends."

Steamforged Sorcery [A Steampunk LitRPG]
This is a fantasy story in a steampunk setting, not a sci-fi. The Great War ravaged the face of the earth many years ago. In the years that passed, the world rebuilt, mixing machinery and magic to form something new. Great blimps took to the sky, belching steam and smoke as metal cities sprouted like weeds below. Angel, a talented mage, scours the desert endlessly in search of lost knowledge. When it unexpectedly falls into his hands, he quickly comes to realize that the world is far larger – and far more deadly – than he ever could have predicted. But no amount of danger is going to keep Angel from seeking out greater strength and traveling the world, claiming all the greatest treasure that it has to offer. To most, the desert is a dangerous threat to be feared. To Angel, it’s a land of opportunity, waiting to be exploited. Steamforged Sorcery is, as the title suggests, a LitRPG Steampunk story with heavy focus on magic and scenery. The main character starts out relatively strong (but far from overpowered) but will eventually grow in strength to incredible levels. It is moderately paced and does not progress at ridiculous speeds. Release Schedule: 1,500 words daily Monday-Friday

Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends
In the civilized world of humans, 'monsters' have all but passed into legend. But when something goes bump in the night, when people begin to disappear, when a dark mystery begins to haunt even the most peaceful villages, there is only one organization to turn to: the Hunters. The Venatori. Having lived a life of discipline and service, former soldier Caiden Voros finds something even worse than the wars of humans: the monsters that hunt them. Horrors yet unknown even to him and his many scars await in the claws, talons, fangs, and mysterious powers of creatures so far beyond humans that he must dedicate himself entirely to the art of slaying them. Harboring a secret of his own and in a constant struggle to find answers while maintaining his sanity, however, Caiden begins to ask the age-old question... Who is truly worse, the monsters or the Men? Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends is an episodic collection of stories, each of which stand on its own, but they also build upon each other in a consecutive order, bridging a gap between a novel and short story collection. These stories follow monster hunter Caiden Voros and his partner Gwen Vergil as they embark on tales of mystery, horror, and adventure to track down monsters - the living dead, beast-men, shape-shifters, spirits, and many more - that would do harm to innocent lives and, by whatever means necessary, put a stop to their terrors. Their motives, however, are not always what they seem.
